Saikano

In a nutshell: Saikano is one damn intense anime. Totalling in with 13 eps. I first became interested in Saikano was when i saw a BG of it in one of mai friends Xanga bg. IT was this *pic*. as you see it read She. The ultimate weapon and showed this cutsey lil gurl with a ripped shirt stained with blood on it. i was like. whoa. Sounds awsome. Decided to look it up on the internet. didn't find many resualts.. this got me more interested in it. about 6 monthes later i was able to get a hold of this anime in China. I popped it in. Watched it. Wow. this was anime was intense. The animtation was really lovely too ^^. It talks about two young high school students, Shuji and Chise, fell in love and just recently confessed their true feelings with each other. but the day after that, There was a military attack on their city. Taken by suprised many people in that city died. Shuji observed a strange glimmer in the attack and decided to go after that. After finding the source of it he became strickened once he observed that the glimmer of the light was Chise. He later learns that She became a weapon used for combat and such. The whole story revolves around this afterwards. Can Shuji and Chise forget about these differences and still love each other?

Characters: I absoutltly loved how every character releated to one another and have their own powerful traits. Chise was described in the first ep. as Clumsy, below average student, slow, Motto: I want to be strong and always says Sorry XP. Shuji on the other hand loves to call Chise a Baka, and is very stubborn. Their are some very freaky other relationships within in the story that come into conflict with Shuji and Chise's relationship, such as the military man and Shuji's middle school teacher. Who seemingly raped Shuji when he was only a lil boy in MIddle school X.x;;

Plot: The plot nicely develops with no other sub-story or anything. it strictly obeys the storyline. not much can be said about it for that matter XP.

Music: Saikano's other title The last love song on this little planet, is later broadened in ep. 12 i belive when they explain the song that Shuji hums, therefore the last love song on this little planet. Other then that.. nothing really striking on the Music in this show. Nothing realy catchy O_o;

Art: The art in this show is really quite your typical anime, the characters are drawn quite simply, but the Background and war scenes are like. WHOA. The effects and such... amazing. Their are a few scenes where the artist gets Kawaii with the characters and stuff though XP and those are just adorable scenes.

Overall? I give this anime.

Happy Lesson!

In a NutShell: Chitose is a high school student who used ot live in a orpahnage.But when he became old enough to live by himself he moved into the hosue that his momo,Dad and him used to live in.But the twist is he has to live with 5 of is teachers!!

Characters:At home Chitose must call all of his five teachers. "Mama" hsi science teacher lieks to use him as her tester for her experiments.Her gym teahcer,well...she just likes to work out,eat,and wrestle with Chitose..well strangle him,shesalways happy! His homeroom teacher cooks for every body and is very sweet. And his youngest Mama ((I think about 13?))who teaches art who is my favorite.Shes hyper and likes to dance,and make outfits.His school nurse also lives wiht him,she is a priestess and worries very much about Chitoses health!

A peer,and alos presdient of the student body has a crush on him,she is nice to him but veyr violent with all the other boys. his younger sister is really cute!!And loves to eat with her big bro on the roof of the school. He also has a bigger sister who is a famous singer.

Plot:Its jsut a bunch of funny scenes,I've only seen 5 out of the 13 eps. But relaly..I think its just about Chitose surviving the shcool year!!

Music:Very high pitched at times,but a soft lullby at the more memorable moments.


Anime: The eyes are awesome,background a bit on the plain side btu the characters make up for it.

I give this 5/5!!! ^_____^

In a nutshell: based on a famous dating sim. Two names. Akari and Hiroyuki. Two very old friends from Kindergarten. what happens? childhood lover kinda anime screaming right in front of you. YOu just know they are somehow going to get together in the end. DUH. hehe. But what happens? Hiroyuki runs into a lot of love conflicts with lots of gurls. Apparently this Sleepy, Average-Joe who just does what he thinks will make gurls happy makes him a pimp in front of allll these other gurls... Pfft. Lucky guy. He picks up gurls from Dark magic users to Robot gurls. thats probably the only reason i kept watching it. I mean come on.. This is just screaming shoujo love anime. Do i honestly want to go through 13 ep. of love conflicts between two peeps? nahhh.... i couldnt watch anymore after ep. 10. So i skipped 2 and watched the last one.. heh. that one was pretty interesting..

Characters: Very beatiful High school gurls XP not enough guys in my opnion though. I mean a good fraction of the anime is spent just showing Hiroyuki with the 'gurl of the ep.' pfft. However i loved this minor love story that takes place with the pyschic gurl. She was the cutest in the whole show nehoo XD

Plot: Plot? What PLOT!? this is just a show about some love stories and such! theres always a new plot every ep. hehe. so some ep you will enjoy better then others.

Music: Music was hardly noticable.. in my opnion? its tooo happy. XD. Just one of those you know Everday doign whatever music

Art: Arts soooo cute. Love how they make each gurls skin and such like that. Very glossy like. The 'darkly' cute factor was just good here ^^. And you gotta love the uniforms.. sooo cute XD

other: There seems to be a sequal to this anime drawn by a different author. To Heart: Remember my memories. It looks very much better.. featuring the minor characters. Ill give you a review after i watch that XD. and after i watch his and her circumstatnces. xD

Overall? I give this anime.

hee hee!! ahh..Suu,who is very much like me,but shes not from India,I know that. I think they said they were from Japans deserts..but do they have deserts? Well thats where my tribe is from.. ninja heh,but Love Hina,it was adorable,i loved it,Suu so much like me..kawii and hyper. Though that green haired andriod girl from Kurais anime reminds me as well..green hair always does.. XD..Have to do Chobits..call dibbs.

Tsubasa Chronicles

In a nut shell: Based off of Tsubasa Reservior Chronicles, this anime is a crossover between the majority of CLAMP's previous works with a few new original characters. Sakura, the princess of the Kingdom of Clow, and Syaoran, the son of an archaeologist, are good friends. One night Sakura appears at the ruins where Syaoran is working and pretty feathers appear. Sakura is in a trance and Syaoran goes to save her, her feathers scatter. The feathers are actually bits and pieces of her soul and without them, she is just a lifeless body.

Syaoran embarks on a journey across different dimensions to gather Sakura's feathers, paying the price with her memories of him. Two others join him on his journey, each for their own reasons.

Characters:

Syaoran An adolescent archaeologist following in his father's footsteps, excavating ruins in the Kingdom of Clow. He believes that his love for sakura is unrequited, but he loves her so much he is willing to do anything for her, even if she forgets him. He is a kind, courteous, and gentlemanly. He's more mature than he is in Cardcaptor Sakura.

Sakura The princess of the Kingdom of Clow. She seems to have a mystical, untapped power unknown to most. She is sweet, caring, and in tune with her feelings. She seems to have a bouncy, happy nature but mischievous when it comes to following her brother's orders. She's not as ditzy as she was in Cardcaptor Sakura.... though I like the CCS version better ^^;;

Touya The King of the Kingdom of Clow. He is Sakura's older brother and, like in Cardcaptor Sakura, despises Sakura seeing Syaoran. He still takes pleasure in playfully teasing his younger sister and has a good relationship with Yukito.

Yukito The high priest of the Kingdom of Clow. He has the power of the moon and possesses magical powers. He and Touya are old friends; he would do anything in his power for Touya. He stays calm under pressure. He is the one who sends Syaoran and Sakura to Yuuko.

Yuuko Mysterious witch lady who owns a shop in Japan where she grants wishes where the price to pay is what you hold dearest. She is also known as the Dimensional Witch and has extreme magical powers. Yuuko is based off of the Yuuko from XXXholic.

Mokona Modoki ^_______^ He's a Mokona. Fun and lovable. Taken from Magic Knights Rayearth.

Kurogane An original character in Japan who serves Princess Tomoyo (CCS). He's sent to Yuuko because he kills too much in Tomoyo's opinion.

Fai D. Flowright A wizard in the country of Celes. (He's an original character). Fai is awaiting the awakening of his King Ashura (RG Veda). He is the maker of Chii (Chobits). Fun loving and always teasing.

And... a bunch of other characters from CLAMP in different dimensions like Sorata and Arashi, who both are from X/1999.

Plot: To gather Sakura's feathers... there are bad guys watching their moves.

Music: *squeals* LOVE THE MUSIC! It's not exactly happy music, but its really good! Especially when Syaoran's fighting... anyways the music is really mystical and captivating. (Rachel, help me out here!)

Art: Eh... Sakura looks almost emotionless. I mean she smiles and stuff but I guess its because she's missing a soul that her expressions are a bit bland. The characters also seem to have very long limbs and necks. Otherwise, it's pretty good.

Because of the art and that the anime goes at a pretty slow pace, I give it a 4/5

Heh, saying that pretty much killed your chances for Student of the Month.

R.O.D (OVA)

In a Nutshell:R.O.D(read or die) is an anime full of action, books, and unpredictable badguys. It all starts off with a struggling substitute teacher named Yomiko Readman. She is in love with books (her room is filled with them) and she also is a master in paper magic. Well one day Yomiko gets a call, telling her that she got a job teaching. She is overjoyed by this and starts to celebrate by shopping...for books!!! While shopping, she comes across an interersting book, however others also find the book interesting as well...(ya thats would be the bad guys) The book is stolen by a member of the Ijin clan who want to use the book for evil purposes. Well so far you know Yomiko as a teacher, but she is more then a teacher...she is also an agent for the British Library. Mr. Joker (who is her boss) sends Yomiko, and two other agents to retrieve the book back. Drake Anderson who has a special knack for guns and explosives, and Nancy Makuhari who has the ability to phase and doesnt trust anybody unless they earn it. Anyways, whenever the book seems to be in the right hands...it always somehow ends up in the wrong hands. When things possibly couldnt get any worse, Yomiko, Drake, and the British Library finds out that Nancy is a double agent, and she betrays them. However it isnt what it seems...Nancy's lover (the top baddy of the Ijin) made a clone of Nancy because she wasnt really that coperative towards him, it was the clone that tricked Yomiko...however it was still Nancy's faults because she played along with the schemes. Well its the fight of the life...will it end happy or sad, will there be tragedy or will everything turn out right...Well what are you waiting for, hurry up and see!!!!

Characters:OMG the characters were awesome, I mean come on, a paper master...the idea was so simple, yet something that I wouldnt have thought about. The design and color of the characters were so terrific and wonderful. O ya and to let you know, the main characters are Yomiko and Nancy.

Plot:Plot was great!!! there was alot of action and alot of Irony which made you want to fall off the seat wondering what would happen next.

Music:I absolutely loved the the music, especially the beginning intro!! Even though some of the music consisted of classical music, they just changed it in a way that made it great lol when Yomiko started to hum Batoven (or however you spell his name @_@) last symphony, I started to hum it as well lol.

Art:My favorite thing of R.O.D is the art. Ever since I saw R.O.D, I started to take their design of art and draw my own characters!!! The color is great and I absolutely love how they draw eyes!!

Other:Do I really need to say more!! Hurry up and find this anime!! O and...R.O.D(OVA) is 3 episodes long...but they are long, not your average 30 min. tv show.

Overall...

5/5 without a shout of a doubt...actaully this can probably go over 5 and go for a 6/5 instead!!!
