"The weather seems to be growing colder, doesn't it? Pretty soon you will need to wear a jacket and scarf on your way outside."
Hinalle leaned in the seat she was sitting in, startling for a moment as he swayed beneath her. She had never sat on a 'swing' before and found it odd that she was in a playground doing so at this moment. Before she would have never even thought it was possible for her to try this, considering what she was, but as she moved again and the swing squeaked at its joints she could only smile.
"What about you? Are you going to have to wear more as it gets colder?"
In the swing to Hinalle's left sat Fineas, the small boy swinging back and forth was strong pumps of his legs. Due to his motion his words were cut here and there but still able to reach Hinalle's ears, and the young woman shook her head causing what looked to be small sparkles of sunshine to fall down against the ground.
"Oh, that's right. You never get cold or hot no matter what the temperature. In fact, you are the temperature right?"
"Something like that, perhaps."

Cameron took a shortcut through the park everyday on her way from school. She could be best described as a punk-prep hybrid, though she really didn't fit into either group. Behind her trailed a small glowing orb, in its wake leaving silver sparkles in the air. The orb suddenly darted in front of Cameron's face, causing her to almost fall backwards. "What is it Edwin?"
"It's her! Over there, my beloved. I could always recognize her, no matter what form she takes." Edwin seemed charged with energy, he could not float in one spot.
"You sure? I mean, she does look different, but I don't want to go over there and look like a freak. Or a kidnapper or something...I mean, she's with a little kid." Could this kid be like her? Perhaps he had more information than she did. She could probably ask the woman about some things too...
Cameron sighed and walked to the wings where the other two sat. She placed her bag against one of the metal poles and sat on a free swing. "Mind if I join you?"
Edwin circled around the woman quickly, stopping by her cheek. He shone a little brighter around her than when he was by Cameron.

"I probably should put some shoes on at least when it gets colder, so others do not think - "
Hinalle stopped speaking and swinging when she suddenly felt something familiar, something close to her heart, come into the area. It sent a shudder down her spine, more than a tingle but less than a shock, and quickly her head turned to see the cause.
"It's . . ."
"Hmm? You okay, Hinalle?"
Fineas noticed the sudden stop and looked over to his friend, pausing to look up as he followed her gaze towards the woman and orb(?) that were approaching them. Quickly he got off his swing and moved behind Hinalle, an automatic motion thanks to the time he'd spent at school, and when the orb came over and pressed itself to her cheek he almost shrieked.
Having the woman sit on a swing near him didn't help, though he did manage to per around at her as she polity spoke to him. It was hard to get her into focus with the patch over his eyes, and he simply looked back at her and then towards Hinalle, hoping for an answer.
"You...you're...."
For a moment Hinalle had been silent, only looking at the orb with eyes covered by a mask, and without warning a tear suddenly slid down her pale cheek. Soon another followed, then another, all silent and all dropping onto her legs with tiny little splashes. She made no sound as she cried, only letting the small rivers act as her sole emotion, and when it seemed like she would do nothing else she reached up with her hands and placed them on the sides of the orb.
"Why....what took you so long...? I thought . . ."

Edwin longed to tell her that he was sorry for making her wait. All he could do was twirl about his love, trying his best to show that he was happy. He wished he could hold her, but for now all he could do was wipe the tear from her cheek.
Cameron began to sway back and forth on the swing. She didn't take her eyes off Edwin, as she had never seen him so excited. Hopefully, he wouldn't burst from excitement. That would be very very bad.
"So uh, whats your name kid? I'm Cameron." She wasn't usually very good with kids. She always felt awkward and stupid.

With a trembling hand Hinalle reached up and touched the orb, the tears still running down from beneath her mask. She felt ashamed to be crying so much at the mere sight of him, but the fact that had come to her now, back to her side, was almost overwhelming. It was as if she were getting a second chance to be with him for once her in her life instead of just watching his back while he followed her.
The endless game they played . . .
"My name...?"
Fineas peered at Cameron for a moment as if he were hesitating on telling her, but eventually he won out and decided it never hurt to say who one was to someone else. It's not like she was Huian and would punch him in the face, nor did she seem like a student at his school. He was safe...for now.
"Fineas. My name is Fineas but most people call me Fin."

"Fineas..hmm, I like it." She gave him a big smile, and continued to sway back and forth. Cameron could tell he was still on edge, so she attempted to make funny faces. She wasn't exactly sure how to talk with a kid, but she figured it was best to start sooner than later.
Cameron couldn't help but feel this odd happiness for the woman and Edwin. It was like something in the world just clicked into place. Like it was just meant to be.
Edwin couldn't help but try to speak with her. He wasn't sure if he could, but he would try with all his might. "Hin-Hinalle...I missed you so my love. To think that I have found you, it truly must be fate."
