Zulaya had a new current hobby: Instead of crashing through the underbrush hunting crickets, she was crashing above the brush hunting crickets or birds or moving leaves or--Look, the wind!
Besides, she figured if she stayed up in the trees long enough, she'd maybe manage to grow wings and be able to fly too one day. It was so unfair that some chee---lions got to have wings and others didn't! Why, she was Princess Lioness Zulaya the Great! She should have whatever she wanted!
Zulaya giggled out loud at her own thoughts, crouched as she could, and made a bit-too-daring leap for a branch in another tree.
"WH--whoooaaa! Aahhh! Ooufffhhh! PUNK! Puuunnk!" A panicked squeal for help as she fell part ways, then found a back foot caught by a vine. Staring down upside down with no control wasn't right!
She waggled wildly there, an endeavor that was only going to prove to get her tossed down sooner than before.
Not that it was a long way down or anything at this point, but... Hey, Zulaya wasn't thinking.

Taiga hummed softly taking a quiet stroll through the forests. Lord Daisuke had relieved her of her duties for the day. She normally wouldn't get time to herself, so she relished in the moment as much as she could. However, a familiar call aroused her interest.
Coming around the bend, she noticed a familiar cheetah cub hanging from a vine caught on one of her back paws. Arching her eyebrow at the purple cub, Taiga couldn't help but giggle. "Still as crazy as ever. Hello Zulaya." The older cheetah came forward, taking note of the vine, her tail flicking out behind her steadily. "Do you remember me? We used to speak of flying..."

"Punk?" Zulaya queried at the giggle, slowing her struggling and streeeetching to look, "Oh, Taiga! Hi, yes, of course, I was trying to learn to fly...You see, I think the trees give--OH!"
The vine had given away, but as felines are wont to do, Zulaya managed to land on her feet--sort of---she landed on them then promptly toppled over, "Omph---trees give wings through their leaves, just gotta find the special tree and get on its good side. But, you know, I think they hate princess lionesses, so it probably won't, but I should TRY, and I should tell it that girls aren't so bad! Mean old trees---Does that old other guy take you out flying? You're so lucky, you know! To know some old guy that can take you flying..."
At some point during her babbling, Zulaya steadied herself back to standing, and now tilted her head at Taiga, noting that she wasn't entirely like she remembered her. Whoa! Something else to consider, some other cheetahs grew faster than others. How fair was life? Really!
"One day, I'll be bigger than even that other old guy!" Zulaya announced, as ever trying to beat out what was presented before her.

She laughed gently, shaking her head. "Oh! Are you alright? No damages I hope." Taiga gave a small squeak, licking at her muzzle. Stepping a little closer, she nudged the cub over for a moment before stepping back, settling upon her haunches, tail curled around her. "Lord Daisuke barely takes anyone flying, save himself. I doubt I should ever want to...it's so...scary." Taiga shuddered slightly, then looked up at the sky. Well, it was a dream of hers to fly...but she doubt she could stomach it. Just being up there and all of a sudden you fall...
Flicking her ears, she looked back over at little Zulaya. Taiga began to paw at her ears and horns absently, as if they itched her all over. "Well, I'm sure you'll find a way to fly sooner or later, Zulaya. Knowing you, when there's a will, there's a way." She smiled encouragingly at her friend looking around at their current location of the forested area.

"Where there's a will, there's a way...." Zulaya started at the end of what Taiga said, thinking on that then brightening, "I LIKE that! And I'll have the biggest will EVER, so one day I'll reach the sparkly stars! Lord Daisuke sounds mean, if he won't take you flying, and if he lets you think it's scary. It's not scary at all. It's the best feeling in the whole, wide plains!"
As she spoke, she nuzzled under Taiga's chin, then zipped around her, batting at her tail and falling over on her back, paws spread wide to illustrate her final point. She half-rolled around, tiling her head at Taiga. "Wanna play a game? We can play....Get the round things!" She looked up at the tree and pointed a paw upwards to some fruit in it.
