"Guin, don't wander off to far." Crescentia called out as the older of her two daughters gasped with delight and skipped away for a minute to check out a stand selling caramel covered apples. Sera stayed close by, carrying Seduire in her arms like his own personal human nest. Guin turned and waved her arms to Crescentia and Sera to get them to come to the stand with her, smiling a huge smile...she totally wanted one of those apples. Laughing, Crescentia patted Sera forward, following close behind her to join the redhead at the stand. "Want one, Sera?" Sera blinked and looked at the apples covered in caramel and being impaled by a stick...didn't that hurt the poor apple?

Don't you want one? Seduire blinked and looked up at his girl, nudging her chin up with his beak to make it look like she was nodding. Sera pouted and turned her head away from him to look up at her mother and smile.

"I wants one too." Sera chirped, already trying to think of how she'd carry both Seduire and the new treat without getting caramel all over Seduire. The crane ruffled his feathers and squirmed in the 'put me down now' fashion, hopping from his girl's arms to stand by her side.

Crescentia bought the two their apples and led them off to see more parts of the festival, keeping a close eye on Sera. She may be shy and timid but this girl just loved to wander off. Suddenly Guinevere gasped and pointed at the man sitting with the pumpkins, still nibbling on her apple treat.

"Check it out! Let's go see, Sera!" She finally managed to get out, grabbing Sera's free hand in her own and hurrying away from their mother to the man and the pumpkins where there just happened to be two other little girls also looking at them. Sera frowned and hid behind part of Guinevere's large scarf, eating her apple quietly as she looked at the girls and not the jack-o-lanterns. They looked her age! Sorta...a little older...and they looked all dirty! And they had tentacles in their hair!

It's not polite to stare.

Oh, sorry... Sera looked away to check out the lanterns with Guin, who had also noticed the girls but just had a very different reaction. Wiping any excess caramel off her face with a napkin that'd been wrapped around the stick, Guin grinned and waved at the one that she could see.

"Hiya!"

Sera squeaked a little and nibbled on her apple, waving back at Hannah from behind Guin's scarf. Was it wrong of her to be curious enough to want to touch those tentacles? Just to see if they were real or not! Really! "We gots 'em too." Seduire puffed up proudly at that. Good for her! Speaking without being prompted!

"Oh cool. We haven't done that yet, we're going to wait until Halloween." Guin ate another big bite out of her apple and looked up when a man spoke up and laughed. Oh, that must've been their father. She winced a little when Sera clung tightly to her leg, the man had startled her. It didn't last long though since Guinevere never allowed her sister to hide behind her, instead she turned just enough to reveal the hiding child who smiled shyly and waved.

Oh no! He was coming closer now! Sera froze up and stared at him with wide green eyes, looking from the man to the little girl next to him. Well...they seemed nice enough. Seduire seemed to puff up even more proudly when it was he who was also getting looks, nudging Sera forward away from Guin and closer to the other girl with top of his head. Go on, dear. It'll be fine. Make another new friend! He encouraged her as he nudged her again. Sera nodded to his encouragement and waved to the two before her.

""m Sera..." She paused. Wh-what now? Uh...oh! She smiled a little and held out her caramel apple for the two. "Wanna bite? S'yummy!" Sharing is caring! That's what all her books said! So if she shared they'd be here friend, right? Yeah! That's how it always worked!

Guinevere was a bit more responsive and upbeat than Seraphine had been. "I'm Guinevere! But you can call me Guin. I hear there's a corn maze somewhere around here, wanna check it out?" What could go wrong? Even if you got lost all you had to do was squeeze through the rows of corn to get to the other side, right?

Sera looked a bit dismayed now. He didn't want to share? Okay...then...what did she do now? They'd just have to find something else to do then. She smiled again when Hannah introduced herself, waving her hand one more time. "Hi Hannah." Hannah and Abby were lucky to have their easy names, at least Sera and Guin were easy names to say...unlike the rest of their names.

Play in the leaves instead? Guinevere looked to the piles of raked leaves and then the corn maze...leaves...maze...get lost...play in the leaves...someone had worked very hard to gather those leaves together, and the maze was something people actually made for the festival...

Oh, but those leaves.

"Yeah, let's go play in the leaves." Guin grinned, looking around to see if there was anyone around them that could possibly object. They had ten seconds to say no...oh well! Even if someone said no she was going to jump in those piles anyway! "Wanna race to 'em?"

Guin was quick to hop into the middle of the pile after Abby, getting a few leaves stuck in her hair after Abby made them go flying everywhere. She gasped suddenly and reached under her to pick up a stick she'd sat on, twirling it in her fingers like a baton. "Look what I found!" She used it to bat at a few leaves like a baseball bat, tossing the stick away after to stand up, jump up in the air and fall backwards into another part of the pile. She'd never done this before! It was fun!

Man, was her sister crazy. Seraphine considered suggested following after their sisters for just a moment but it didn't look safe for their clothes. They'd probably get all dirty! And Guin had just thrown a stick..it didn't look like her kind of fun. But Hannah was a genius! That craft table looked perfect! Her smile grew a bit bigger, more bolder now that she was growing more comfortable. "'Kay!" Sera actually took hold of Hannah's hand and led her to the table, a surprising act from someone as shy as Seraphine. Seduire followed close by, of course. She peeked over the shoulders of a pair of children sitting in front of her to see what exactly they were doing. Ooh, they were painting on pumpkins and gourds and stuff! That looked like fun!

...Where'd Abby go? Guin blinked and sat up in the middle of the leaf pile, looking around with a faint frown. Did Abby leave already? That'd be so weird? But...all of a sudden she felt the sense of impending doom. Why was her mother sitting under that tree looking as if she was trying not to laugh? Shrugging, Guin dug around the leaves in the immediate area in search of her new playmate.

"AbAGH! Guin screamed and jumped back, clutching her heart. Holy crap where'd she come from! When she finally calmed down she started laughing, pushing a few leaves at Abby like you'd splash someone in the water.

Sera gladly sat down beside Hannah, looking down at the gourd she was given. Ooh! It looked like Seduire! Sort of. Said crane was currently perching himself on the back of Seraphine's seat, peeking over her shoulder to see what she was doing. Sera giggled and sat her gourd next to Hannah's, picking up a paint brush and opening the green paint first. "They look funny!" She said as she painted a pair of green circles on either side of the twisted part of the gourd.

Attack of the leaf monster! Guin squealed and gathered a bunch of leaves up in her arms, standing up with them and promptly dumping them on Abby's head. There were leaves in her hair, leaves in her belt, leaves in her skirt and leaves in the laces of her boots, but that wasn't bothering her just yet. There was a leaf fight to be had!

The green circles on Sera's gourd were kind of big and definitely not the same size, but they were still eyes! She glanced at Seduire once or twice while she started using the black paint. "Whatcha paintin'?" Something very pink, obviously.
