Titan looked around quickly, craning his ears to see if anyone was close by. The sound of crickets chirping was all that could be heard, drowning out all other noise. He growled at them but they paid him no mind. This place was so loud compared to the North, he thought. He leaned down to drink from the stream, his head angled awkwardly since he was trying to keep watch and quench his thirst at the same time. When he was done, he wiped his muzzle with a paw and trotted off into the forest to hunt. He was unused to the trees and the number of prey here. They were much more common but most of them ran to the trees and he couldn't reach them. Scenting an odd creature, he glanced around a tree to see a strange animal with long ears and feet. It resembled the snow shoe rabbit but it was smaller and had a different coat. He crouched and crawled forward, closer to the unsuspecting prey. The shadows of the forest helped camoflauge him and blackberry juice was smeared on his hind leg to hide the glow. He was still surprised at how easy it was to hide here. In the North, any chance of surprise was gone with his dark pelt.

With a silent leap and a quick snap, the rabbit was dead and in his jaws. He could feel the warm blood dripping and bit experimentally. It tasted different from the hares found in the north, that was certain. He ate it quickly, not very pleased with the taste but satisfied that it stopped his pangs of hunger. Licking off most of the blood to hide his scent, he once again set off, sniffing around once in a while to see what else he could learn in this strange place. Scenting a strange wolf nearby, he proceeded to go in the other direction when a sudden gust of wind suddenly made the starnger's scent stonger. His scent was mixed with the scent of others, pack members, and there was something familiar about it. Curious, he padded towards the other.

Titan hid behind some of the bushes, inspecting the other male he saw. He thought he smelled someone else but the scent was close to the stream and was instantly lost. Unintrested in the other scent, he continued watching the wolf. It was dark and the shadows of the trees were everywhere, hiding the color of his fur. His eyes were distinctively familiar but he still couldn't tell who he was. He took a deep whiff this time and his scent, without the scent of the ones he stayed with, suddenly hit him and he recognized who the other male was. Ark. His lips raised almost immedietly, and he snarled, anger bubbling through his chest to make the sound more savage.

"It is I, brother," he growled out, showing himself in the small sliver of moonlight that passed through the leaves. "Or have you forgotten me once more?" He noted Ark's offensive position and he himself raised his head higher to show he had more authority, all the while lashing his tail, the barb at the end glistening threateningly. He heard a slight splash and growled in annoyance, wondering who was there in the stream and what that creature was doing.

Titan was angered once more when he saw Ark blocking his path to the stream when all he did was look. That meant something Ark was trying to protect was there and suddenly, Titan felt a strong bloodlust, wanting to kill whatever it was that was so important to his brother, to make him feel the pain he did when he was left alone and abondoned in the North. "Yes, brother," he said. "The one and only." He lifted his lips and showed his fangs menacingly, smelling the fear from whatever was in the stream. He knew he could kill his armor-less brother easily but he wouldn't do that. Not now at least, not until he felt the same pain. He ran at Ark, feigning an attack before suddenly veering to the side and heading straight for Victoria, his anger lending him speed.

The sight of his enemy running made him faster, for the love of the chase was instinct. She was running toward the trees for cover but she would not make it, he was sure. He was almost upon her when she ran through a lighted patch of ground and he immediatly skidded to a halt, crashing into Ark who was still running full speed. The sight of her surprised him and he didn't try to hide it. Now that he thought about it, her voice... it had a similar pitch. "Sonet?" he called, too surprised to pay attention to his brother. "Is that you?" His eyes scanned the dark, looking for where he last saw the pup run. He knew in his mind that it could not be her, that she was dead and would never again set paw on the earth, but he couldn't help himself and he snuffled around frantically for the scent of the pup.

Victoria. So that was her name, he thought. He snarled back at his brother, displeased with the fact that he was trying to order him around. He jumped at Ark, attacking him with tooth and claw, forgetting about his armor in his anger. He lunged for his throat and but stilled when he heard a pitiful sound coming from underground a few feet away. He was stunned for a moment, unsure of whether to look for her and try to comfort her, or finish his fight with Ark first. He felt a strange sadness when he heard her, as if it was supposed to be his job to look after her and jealousy grew inside him when he realized it was Ark's name she had called.

Titan gaped in surprise, suddenly feeling the slight breeze on his face. He had never before taken of the armor since he got it and the sudden loss of weight surprised him. He backed away, eyes never leaving his brothers, to grab his face plate and he placed it back on it's proper place quickly. He glared at his brother, glancing away only once when he heard her whimper. She was somewhere to the left of him, if only he could find her.... Again feigning an offensive position, he fluffed up his mane to make himself look bigger and more thraetening while searching for Victora.
