It took them quite a while to get the optometrist that day. Adhara, as usual, didn't like to be carried or really led in any way; she preferred doing things on her own, using the abilities that she had at her disposal. Unfortunately, when she'd awoken that morning unable to see all that much, she was just about helpless when it came to getting to the office. Along with that, her wings were so big now that they nearly obstructed Noah's view when he carried her, so he preferred he not have to. He liked knowing where he was going.

When they got there, Adhara had picked up a magazine, trying to read it or at least look at the pictures. The poor thing needed to hold it only a few inches in front of her nose to be able to actually see the thing. And, as she still couldn't read, it was a pointless effort. She soon disposed of it, and was sitting kicking her legs, impatiently waiting for Noah to finish his paperwork and the doctor to call their names...

Wynni came walking in and then was followed by a tall white haired woman soon after that was seemingly her guardian. The pair looked around for a moment before the white haired female told the girl to go have a seat and wait for a moment while the woman went to see about the appointment she had made for herself and her daughter. Just checkups nothing more.

Quietly Wynni moved to have a seat amongst the maze of chairs and had ended up sitting, serendipitously, across from Adhara.

Adhara, at the moment, had a firm grip on both her tentacles. Since she'd woken up this morning, they'd been trying to form a visible landscape for the girl by groping everything within reach, which had led to some strange situations with passerbys and other bus passengers, especially given it always took her a moment to tell what was going on. She sighed softly, watching the blurs of her feet swish back and forth against the differently coloured ground.

Amber eyes raised when she heard another person's shuffling footsteps. From what she could make out, the other had taken a seat across from her and... had green legs? She blinked, trying to clear her vision and, as it had been doing, it didn't work. Adhara dropped onto her half-buckled shoes and walked up to the girl, recognizing wings and fluttering her own. When she was close enough to make out the basics of the other's form -only about four or five feet away- she peered closer, before smiling a bit and pointing to the other's wings. "You have wings like me!" she noted, happy to have something to do that wasn't sit, brooding, on a chair in a waiting room. After all, the only other spawn she'd met with wings had had leathery green ones, which were nothing like her own, whereas Slythor had only one wing, which was bright orange. But she'd had yet to meet another with wings like her's.

Wynni blinked up at the girl across from her as she now got up and moved toward her. At first the pale haired girl hadn’t noticed the other figure with tentacles and wings until that figure had moved toward her and then spoke. She looked toward the wings and then at the tentacles. Oddly enough the girl seemed equally delighted to see that feature as well as the similar wings, “Yeah! And you have tentacles! I have a friend with tentacles! Do yours have names? His didn’t he let me name them.” She talked openly and straightforwardly being everything but shy. Right now she didn’t notice the other girl’s predicament of being unable to see very well despite the fact that she had come closer to get a good look at Wynni.

Riulve had, after checking in, moved to seat herself next to Wynni’s chair. The tall woman seemed unbothered by the fact that her daughter was taking to another child. It was nice, for her, that her daughter was so willing to go out on her own and reach out to others instead of Riulve having to prod her.

Adhara smiled happily, grinning at the mention of another boy with tentacles. "Was that Adriel, then?! I know him! He's really nice, but I haven't seen him for a while. My tentacles don't have names, either," she noted with a couple nods of her head. "If you want, you could name mine, too?" she suggested, one of them stretching out haphazardly toward the girl who was about Adhi's age, or at least appeared that way. It was hard to tell, given Adhi couldn't see all that well right now.

"What did you name Adriel's tentacles?" she questioned with interest, her feathers fluffing up a bit, wings stretching before pressing against her back once more. She missed the older boy, and hadn't seen him in what felt like forever in her short lifetime. Then again, maybe that was because he was one of the first people she'd met, and now she'd met so many others. The tentacle that had reached forward poked cautiously at Wynni's knee, as though thinking that it was going to get attacked once more, given the sudden talk about the other Lust boy. Her left tentacle merely stayed hovering around her, as it had the habit of doing while the other pestered people.

Small world! This girl knew Adriel!

She giggled and nodded, “Yeah! He played tag with me and stuffs when I was littler,” Wynni said with a fond smile at the memory. She wiggled her toe-talons a bit as she watched the other girl curiously, “Sure! I don’t mind naming them!” She watched them curiously as if trying to get a feel for them not seeming concerned about any acts the tentacles might perpetrate toward her person. “Think Reena and Niita would be good names,” She pointed first at the left tentacle and then the right one to show which name was meant for what tentacle, “Adriel’s tentacles are named Fuu and Chii.” She grinned proudly.

“You here for a check-up, too?” She asked plainly.

Adhara smiled and nodded happily, as though knowing exactly what the other girl meant. "I met him when I was littler, too, even though I only just got bigger today," she said, confusing herself a bit with her nonsense logic. "We had ice cream and then went to the fish store," she stated, recalling the memory happily, as though it had only happened a day or so ago. Under the other child's scrutiny, Adhara wiggled around a little bit, bouncing back and forth on her feet, while her left tentacle wrapped around her slim waist almost possessively, and the other tried to poke some other part of the pale-haired girl, but was unable to reach far enough to do so, and merely flopped down atop her knee.

"I think those are good names for them. I like the ones you picked for Adriel, too," Adhara replied with a happy giggle, petting the one dubbed Reena, which then seemed to 'look' toward her face, before stroking it affectionately, making her laugh a bit more. "Hmm?" she questioned curiously when the girl asked something, looking up from the affection she was administering to the more withdrawn of her two tentacles. She smiled a bit. "Yeah. Noah says I need glasses 'cause when I woke up this morning I was bigger and I couldn't see very good anymore. You're here for a check up, then"

Wynni giggled as she listened to Adhara as she spoke. It seemed like almost everyone she has met thus far at least, knew Adriel. That boy seemed certainly popular! Of course he was, he was pretty and nice. Who wouldn’t like him? Wynni seemed even happier that the other girl seemed to like the names she had chosen for the tentacles.

The tall girl tilted her head as she listened to the predicament the tentacled girl seemed to be having with her vision. Her smile faded briefly, “That’s too bad! Hopefully glasses or somethin’ will make it better!” Wynni said with a hopeful smile as her taloned toes began to wiggle a bit. She could never sit still for super long. It was too much to expect of her.

“Oh!” Wynni said after a moment of reflection on their conversation together. They hadn’t actually introduced themselves! They were in an office and though they had not met til’ this moment they had talked as if they had known each other since … Forever!

“My name is Wynnifred, but everyone calls me Wynni.” She said with a large smile.

Adhara smiled at the idea of glasses, and tapped at her pointed ears a little bit, features that she'd inherited from her sin side, she'd been told. Then again, she'd gotten a lot of different things from that side of her 'family', besides her wings and her endless supply of energy. That, and her purple hair; that had come from her other side, too. "I hope the glasses can make it better. That way I'll be able to see again and Noah won't have to carry me place," she said, wiggling around a little bit and stretching her wings, trying to get used to how much they'd grown overnight. Niita stretched out toward the other girl, tapping against her hand to try and tell what it was before rubbing up against it for attention that Adhara didn't usually like giving them.

When Wynni introduced herself, Adhara couldn't help giggling; they'd honestly been talking like they were old friends, instead of having just met! "It's nice t'meet you, Wynni. My name's Adhara, but you can call me Adhi if you want," the child replied sweetly, wings fluttering happily at her new friend. At the tapping of Wynni's talons, Adhi tilted her head, before ducking down and prodding a bit, her smile widening. "You've got feets like a dinosaur!! That's so cool!!"

Wynni nodded empathetically as she peered down at Niita whom was apparently in the midst of trying to garner her attention. Quietly she reached out to give the odd appendage a light pet across its topside. Did all tentacles have personalities of their own like Adriel’s and Adhara’s? It seemed to be true. It made things fun for the girl. “Yeah havin’ to be carried ‘bout must suck a bit,” Wynni offered with a chuckle.

The girl smiled a bit, “Adhi it is! I like your name it is pretty,” it didn’t seem beyond her to compliment others. She glanced down at her feet when they were mentioned she paused a moment and then broke into a small giggle, “They do, don’t they? I have a tail too. I have a dinosaur butt.” She said in a rather cheerful tone. Most other children would have been insulted but not Wynni. It also had to do with the tone and spirit of how things were said.

"It sucks sometimes, but just a little, 'cause I like walking. Noah says that's because I'm a 'busy body', so I always have to be doin' somethin' or else I get all impatient and antsy," she stated self-confidently with a firm nod of her head, a smile on her face that was a little bit surprising, though... not really, with how always-happy the little Lust spawn was. With Niita getting such attention, Reena seemed to get in the least bit jealous, and reached out to the same hand, butting Niita out of the way and trying to get more attention for herself. Adhi laughed a bit at her tentacles and their soundless arguments, but was secretly glad that they hadn't actually started fighting; that sometimes hurt her, too. Physically.

Adhara smiled happily at the compliment, not being too used to them, even with how many people she'd met. At least, she was unused to comments about her name. It was usually something about her wings or her tentacles. "Thanks! Noah says that it's one of the stars in a con-sta-la-shun, but I don't remember what it's called." She laughed a bit sheepishly and grinned the same way, wishing now that she'd been paying more attention to Noah when he'd been talking about that. She giggled at Wynni's words, but was just as ecstatic as the other girl was. "Really?!" she exclaimed, trying to stand on tiptoe to see behind the other girl, but failing quite a bit. "Can I see?"

Wynni nodded as she listened to the other girl speak about not being able to sit still for very long. The tall girl was very much the same way, and even now she seemed to busy her hands by petting Niita and Reena and it seemed to hold her still for the time being and let her listen to what Adhara had to say as she went on to talk about her name.

The small girl gave a giggle and nodded, “That’s cool,” Wynni said with a small nod as she watched the other girl’s excitement over her having a tail. She gave a small giggle and stopped her attentions as she began to stand. Wynni seemed rather proud of the fact that she has a reptilian lower half and thus she stood and showed it off, tail and all, by spinning about in place for Adhara’s viewing pleasure.

Adhara squealed and clapped happily when Wynni spun around. She couldn't quite see, but she could tell the basic definition of Wynni's dinosaur-ish lower half. She took a step forward and went behind Wynni, inspecting her tail a bit more closely and petting a bit, a wide smile on her face as she went back to looking at Wynni from in front of the girl, rather than behind her.

"That's so cool, Wynni!! You're so lucky; I wish I had a tail, or legs like that, or something that... cool!" Adhara laughed sheepishly at her lack of a better word, and fluttered a wings a bit. That was, before her name was called by the strange woman at the front desk, and Noah came up behind her, tapping her on the shoulder.

"Adhi? It's time for your appointment, now. Come on," he said kindly, taking her hand when it was offered to him. The little girl frowned softly, but as long as she would soon be able to see, she didn't object. Instead, she waved at her new friend, and smiled at her brightly. "Buhbye, Wynni! 'Hope t'see you again, sometime!!"

Wynni grinned at Adhara for a brief moment upon being complimented for her tail and legs. She had always known that these were one of her best features but now someone seemed to feed into that idea and agree. She was about to speak when they were interrupted and so the girl paused to see what was going to happen. Her smile faltered just a fraction before she reluctantly nodded allowing her new friend to leave.

“Yeah! Hopefully we can hang out somewhere more cheerful,” she said her smile returning to her face as she offered a wave and then moved to sit back down until it was time for her own appointment. From then on she was a rather cheerful soul for the rest of the day!
