 He tipped his head to one side then the other. A paw lifted up to brush the dusty blonde mane from his eyes and sweep it off to one side. His mortal form was in all actuality quite plain. A dusty brown pelt with a white underbelly, white socks, and a white muzzle. Perhaps out of vanity, the cub allowed his long mane to remane, falling over his shoulder, down his back to the ground.
Flicking his tail, he turned himself about and broke into an easy trot forward. A cub's gait, not much of an impressive one. It was slower than he was used to, but it was something to get used to. The ground under his feet, the strain of muscles as they jarred and recovered from the collision of his paws against the ground.
He was far from home... very far. Memories of a massive sea, crumbled human ruins, and a quiet waterfall would invade his every dream and quiet moment. While he was in no hurry, he wasn't going to hold back too much either.

 Swish. Swish. Twist. Spin~
The young leopardess began to humm out a tune as she danced, enjoying the rush of air about her. While graceful... It was far from perfect. There were a few faltering steps. A few stumbles. But the happy smile never left as she just picked the dance back up, continuing her happy practice.
Some day she would be a great dancer. Of that she was sure.
Bright green eyes swept across the open area as she took another spin, flatering once more, though this time not in mistake. She stopped her dancing, peering curiously out to the approaching form. Another cub, most likely. Though she couldn't tell what species. Her tail swished out behind her a moment, before she took a sudden leap, bouncing and bounding her way to the other, picking the humming back up.

Li's ears rolled forward as a spot of cyan appeared bouncing on the horizon. A small spot- but a bright one! His claws shot out to grip the ground and drag him to a sudden stop. It- whatever it was- was coming his way.
He tipped his head once more, more to have his mane fall to one side than out of curiosity. Li watched the figure approach, slowly taking form. He'd seen those before! The name escaped him at the moment, but...he knew what it was!
It looked friendly enough. She looked friendly enough. And just around his age!
The cub's maw pulled into a quiet smile as he got back to his feet and started walking forward. Might as well meet them halfway, right?

Her smile brightened when she took note of his own, speeding her pace to reach what she now recognized as a lion cub, happily dancing around him a moment before she finally stopped infront of him, giving a low, sweeping bow. " Hallo, Hallo, mister lion! " She grinned, lifting her head. Her tone was a mix of kindness, and playful teasing. " What brings ye out ta this dusty dull land? "
She loved to wander as far as possible, meeting all kinds of creatures, and happily dancing for them. This, however, was the first cub she had encountered, and it left her excited at the possability of a new friend. Though it also left her curious. She hadn't seen any families in the area, outside of their traveling troupe. Was he alone?

He watched her little dance quietly, his smile never fading though his ears relaxed slightly down against his mane. It was an interesting dance, and a lovely finish! "You're a mummer!" He stepped back a bit as she came to a bow, giving her some room to finish her little performance.
"Very nice dance." He tipped his head to one side- a somewhat informal bow. "I'm just passing through on my way home. Am I in your territory?"

" Nay, we've no territory. Our home is anywhere, as long as we're together. " She settled down onto the ground infront of him, ears perking up. " I'm glad you liked the dance... Are you terribly far from home? " Green eyes were full of curiosity as she peered up to the other cub. With how close-knit their troupe was, she couldn't imagine journeying too far, dispite her will to see the world, and dance for all.
In turn, she couldn't imagine anyone wanting to travel too far from their family at a young age. She blinked as a thought crossed her, and she quickly bolted up. " Oh! How rude of me.. My name is Lei. "

"I think so...", his eyes drifted out towards the north. He must have been far- there was no sea or waterfall. Nothing but dry, flat land for as far as he could see. Still- there was no hurry. And he'd met someone to talk to! His first that he could remember.
He glanced back to the female at her introduction. His own mouth opened to introduce himself- but he seemed to catch on his own breath. "...uh...."
...what...was his name?

Her head tilted curiously at his hesitation, blinking lightly, before giving a reassuring smile. " Do you know your name? Or do you not wish to tell me? " Her question was soft, still holding that kind tone.
She'd heard of such things as amnesia, she loved learnign many things. Perhaps he had it? Or her mind was only jumping to it because it was such an interesting thing to her.
Shaking away that trail of thoughts, she refocused on the other cub.

"I...forgot." He admitted sheepishly. "I'll think of something later. But hi!"
Li almost laughed in spite of himself. Of all the things to forget, his -name!- While he gave the leopardess his attention, his mind began scrambling through cluster after cluster for an answer.
"Am I...close to a big sea? It's like a lake but bigger! And you can't drink it."

She gave him a grin when he admitted to forgetting it. " There's certainly no rush. I've all the time in the world. "
A thoughtful humm escaped her, as she sat back, head tilting. " Undrinkable water..? I havn't seen anything like that yet. Normally, the troupe travels all over. But since we, myself and my siblings, were born, they've kept still a bit what mum recovers, and adjust. "
She huffed lightly, shaking her head. " Actually, I've not seen a lake yet either. I've only heard tales. My family may know how close you are to one, though. "

"It's okay." He waved a paw dismissively. "I'm sure I can find my way there! It's pretty though. A lake is big, real big. A sea's even bigger!" He leaned back on his haunches and spread his front paws out, stretching his claws out to further his demonstration.
"But it's good you're resting." He let his paws fall down to his sides, leaving him sitting up much the way a meerkat might. "It's good for you."

She let out a giggle as he stretched himself out in an attempt to describe to her just how big it was. " I'm sure it is. The water is always beautiful. So much of it in one place must be amazing! "
She pouted slightly at his comments towards resting, getting to her paws, swaying there, She was not off balance. She simply felt the need to move. Resting was all well and good. But she couldn't stand to sit still, and she was well out of land to explore now, not wanting to go TOO far from her family. Were they traveling, rather than resting, she would feel more at ease.
" I suppose so. We're fine to travel, but I want mama to take all the time she needs for rest. "
