It was a new day, with new things to do and see...and rather than charging out to do and see, Toma sat just outside the bundle of fur and limbs and warmth that was his family. As tempting as the world outside his family was...HE wasn't about to go charging out there. Not if his sisters didn't want to. Unless it was for their safety, Toma wasn't going anywhere without them.
Although that pretty pale moth fluttering around in the dying darkness was tempting to chase after...
He shook his head and stayed where he was. He wasn't going anywhere.

Asha was perfectly content to stay where she was. For one, it was warm. For another, it was a pretty comfortable position: her back was up against her father, surrounded by her siblings. Her tail covered her nose at the perfect angle so that it wouldn't get dry and cold. And, finally, it was very warm in that tangle of limbs.
But she did end up waking up, sadly. She had slept past her limit (which was strange in itself because Asha could sleep for hours on end) and didn't really feel like laying in the den all day. So she got up and stretched with a quiet yawn before walking around her siblings. Most were sprawled out in odd positions. She had to feel around a lot first before she could make her way to the mouth of the den. Where she found her brother.
"What're you doing out here by yourself?" she asked him in a whisper, sitting next to him.

Red eyes fluttered open as Kimi heard the voices of her siblings. Kimi was a light sleeper, but she didn't mind. The only time it really bothered her was if someone was talking about one of her siblings or their parents. Then she wished she could just drift into sleep as easily as some of her siblings could.
Kimi stood up slowly next to her mother, and slowly made her way out of the massive ball of fur that was her family to sit by her closest friends.

Toma's ears flicked to attention as he heard Asha's voice, and he smiled. "Waiting for you and Moyo. And enjoying the quiet." Everything was so still in the early hours...so at peace and at rest...He scoot a little closer to his sister, so his shoulder touched hers.
At a new sound, he looked back. Another siblings had woken up? He smiled as he saw Moyo, his tail wagging happily. Now both his beloved sisters were awake!

"Oh," she giggled softly. Her ears twitched slightly at the sound of Kimi's paws padding softly on the ground, but she didn't need to turn around or try and hear harder. She knew her sister well enough for that.
"Morning Kimi!" she greeted, still whispering. Her head reached out to nuzzle her dearest sister. "What're we gonna do today?"

Kimi smiled lightly when she was out of the tangled mess of paws. "Good morning Asha, good morning Toma." She said as she nuzzled with her sister. "How are you two this morning?" she asked in her soft voice. She didn't have to put much effort into talking softly, her voice was no louder than a whisper.

Toma moved to nuzzle Kimi. "I am well. What of you, Kimi?" He didn't mind his sister's quiet voice. He was quite certain that if she said the right words, she could get anyone's attention with her soft voice. And it was a nice one to listen to, not harsh at all.

"I'm fine," Asha replied to her sister's inquiry. Like her brother, the blind pup also enjoyed listening to the quietness of their sister's voice. It was soft and easy to listen to, and Kimi tended to speak wise things. You knew that if she said it, it must be important to hear.
