We all know there is a right and wrong way of doing this. There are ways of headbanging and looking like a complete fool and/or having a very unhealthy looking head jerk reaction.
Seen anybody or actually bands foul this up? Wanna learn how to do this correctly? Need work on your stance?

I've noticed some people don't even keep in any sort of rhythm with the music.

Possibly, but I didn't think it was that, they just bang their head at random intervals that don't correspond to the music.

One foot against the stage, one foot back from it, bent down, hand on the stage, other hand pumping in the air, head in motion in correspondence to the music, be it a good moment for windmill or just regular headbanging. That's basically what I do.

I want to know how Nile can headbang for a whole hour set and not get in the least bit dizzy, I mean I can do it for a while but I need at least a short break...and doing it while holding an instrument and playing the correct notes is really hard... confused

ashlander_alpha I don't/can't have long hair, so no windmilling for me. crying I sorta love the windmilling... too bad I have such short hair :S

ELUVEITIE ON HOLD!!!! Hurdy gurdy player, Anna Murphy was in a freak accident last week. Her ridiculously long hair became tangled in her instrument, unbeknownst to her, while she was cranking the hurdy gurdy. Doctors were unable to sew the part of her scalp that contained her hair back to her scalp. Horribly disfigured, Anna will not be returning to Eluveitie ever again.
