Have you guys noticed the new art on the loading pages?
Have you guys noticed the night- and bloodelf females?
Does anyone else think they look a bit . . . misshapen? >>;; . . .
I'm trying to find a good picture for reference of what I'm talking about right now since I know some of you (at the moment of my posting this) haven't been able to see the new loading pages . . .
Let's just say that they have the midsections of anorexics but larger torsos and busts and thick, muscley legs.
It just doesn't look right at ALL to me. gonk
OH WAIT! The troll hunter guy on the same one as the misshapen nightelf looks the same way. :O

I just saw the Kael & Illidan loading screen, wonder why they didn't release that one with the Sunwell patch. Pfft.

Miss-Mishi I just saw the Kael & Illidan loading screen, wonder why they didn't release that one with the Sunwell patch. Pfft. No idea, but I'm happy when I get that one over the other two. x_x I wonder who they're having draw for them now . . . it's a very different style. It's not bad... but MAN the wonky proportions really bug me. gonk

Kiko_The_Kitty_of_pitty I cant get onto the play page D: Since 6pm I am saddened I was able to get in a little after 6 p.m. my time, but then it glitched and booted me and then I wasn't able to get passed the authen. page. :[ So I'm just going to wait until tomorrow to try again.

My husband noticed on the Blood Elf girl that she had some hella large armpit muscles too. Yikes.
The Undead guy looks scary. I like his art.

The majority of those kind of new character pictures are from the TCG. So find the card that image came from and you'll have your artist.
They use a wide variety of artists for the TCG, obviously.

Edit: Took a closer look, only problem I can spot is that the female belf's armpits are poorly rendered- muscles like that just don't exist.

I do nitpick anime art too, not just this stuff. It's just something I noticed and felt like sharing. Oh yeah, and this is a Warcraft guild, not an anime guild . . . so why would I discuss anime unless I was posting in the off topic sub forum or talking about the Warcraft mangas question

Edit: Took a closer look, only problem I can spot is that the female belf's armpits are poorly rendered- muscles like that just don't exist.Its not the cartoony that bugs me so much as the mixing of drawing styles. It just looks weird, like they photoshopped random artist's work together.

They picked some random styles to piece together, but that doesn't really bother me much.
