It was the first day of his new job. He had already looked at the sign up sheet and noticed there was someone on it that wanted to learn how to fight. "Well well well...my first student. He should be coming in today. Duncan is it? Well, this should be interesting." he hadn't seen what this child looked like, but if it were like the others he had seen in his interview, there was some fear within him. But it hardly showed.
He looked around, standing in the tranquility of this new dojo. He waited for his newest apprentice to arrive. Hopefully this one on one with his first trainee would be a good one.

A Melee class held a lot of interest to Duncan due to it being in his nature to fight, luckily he was able to control him at the present with his darkness having been dealt with for a time. He had signed up for this and one other class, both because he wanted to fill his time and try to stave off the annoying sleepiness that was plaguing him of late.
He was lead to where he was going by one of the Lab Techs, it wasn't one he'd ever seen before but that didn't mean he liked the guy anymore then was usual for Duncan. He had an innate dislike for them that was deeply ingrained in his mind to the point where while he didn't recall why he hated them he still hated them.
He was abandon at the door due to the fact that he spent the entire walk to the Dojo silently glaring with all three eyes at the Tech before he gave a knock and slipped inside, "Hello." He greeted his teaching.

Cecil watched as the newest recruit was brought in. "Well, hello. I am your trainer, Mr. Trenton. You may call me Cat for short if you'd like. Please to meet you, Duncan." he said, smiling. He wondered how this first meeting would go. He was rather scared, not knowing exactly where to take this to.
He eyed the child up and down. He looked at him. His third eye somewhat freaked Cecil out. His metallic wings, his dragon-like skin on his legs. It was just all rather new and especially different for Cecil. He wondered where he would start. "Tell me a little about yourself. I'd like to get to know you first." he stated, clipboard in hands. He didn't know exactly what Mr. Vampy wanted in his reports, so writing almost everything was a good enough bet. He stood, waiting for a response.

"Cat?" Duncan repeated his trio of eyes blinking all at once. Wasn't a cat a type of small, fluffy animal? He looked the guy over, he didn't look at all cat like but he wouldn't question the request.
"About... myself?" He wondered what the guy wanted to know, "I am called Duncan, though you know that. My father's name is June. I am Wrath mixed with Liberality... umm..." He tilted his head to the side as he thought, "My best friend is called Adriel." He couldn't think of anything else useful to mention... so he started to stare at the teacher with all three eyes, awaiting... whatever came next.

Cecil wrote down everything he could. "Now, I want to know if you've had any experience at all, in the very least, have you had any experience with weapons or fighting? Any specific weapons of choice that you would like to learn? How about anything else you would like to know about the class, or myself?" he said, trying to get as much out there as possible. He wanted to truly know his apprentices, and he wanted them to know him as well. "Ask away." he said, referring to any questions this child may have about him.
He smiled at Duncan, still notepad and pencil in hand, to jot down anything that he could figure out about this person. "Oh, and one more question. What does it mean when you say you are Wrath mixed with Liberty?" he asked, reading from the notes he had taken. 'So, these kids are really just imaginative figures? Hmm, I need to do a little more research about this. If he is Wrath, that must mean he has a temper. Now, he could use that temper for, or against, his fighting. I'll have to take that into consideration while training this one.' he thought to himself. What notes he took did give him a minimal glimpse into what he was getting himself into.

Duncan nodded, "Yes... fighting." He said, "I have some." Nothing he was proud of given the times he attacked were ones where his rage got the better of him and his vision ended up going red... he shook his head to clear that line of thought. It was no longer something he had to worry about.
"Nothing... specific I want to learn. I am trying new things. If I keep busy I will be less sleepy." He told the teacher, or at least that was what the girl he met at the part told him.
Duncan's trio of eyes widened the man's question, wondering how he taught here but didn't know, "My blood, its a mix of Shar's and Jhor's blood. Shar is a Wrath demon while Jhor is a Liberality angel." He said, giving a shrug as thought it should be common knowledge... then again he had no idea that the teacher was new to the corporation.

Cecil jotted down every little thing he could from learning about this new child. Who knew what he was capable of if he was the product of a wrath demon. He watched the child and nodded at his answers. He then went on to say this, "Well, alright, now the question is, which weapon would you like to take up, if any? You do not have to take up one, I can teach you how to use your fists or your wings to fight. Which will it be?"
Cecil then began walking over to the little cabinet of weapons that this corporation gave to him. He opened it up to show off all the different kinds and all the sizes. It was still rather messy and cluttered, for he hadn't had the time to go through and actually put the weapons where he wanted, so they were scattered all over. "Sword, staff, blunt, fists, whichever you want, they are all right here." he said smiling, showing off the weapons.

"Weapon." Duncan murmured, moving over to where the weapons were scattered, looking them over and seemed to be debating on which one he should learn. His trio of eyes narrowed in a thoughtful manner. Should he really be learning this stuff? Wouldn't it just make him more dangerous? He shook the thought off and then pointed, "Maybe... just fists for now." He held his hands up for the man to see, showing that had had claws.
He wanted the man to know that he had them in case it somehow changed the lesson.
The weapons looked rather interesting but he didn't want to mess with them, it would be yet another thing he would be able to use to hurt someone with. His body was weapon enough that he didn't think he'd need a secondary one.

"Oh, claws. Sounds very nice." he said smiling and jotting down the fact that he was going to use claws. "Okay. I have this dummy set up over here for you. His name is Tiny Tim." he said, loving the fact that he got a dummy for the class to beat up on. He stepped aside and said, "Alright Duncan, just use those fists in any way you can, this will show me how much you already know and what we need to work on. Take a few swings at Tim." he said smiling, pencil and notepad in hand.

Duncan blinked his trio of eyes before starring a moment at the teacher, sounded very nice...? If the teacher thought so then he supposed it was. He looked over at the dummy that he was supposed to demonstrate on before giving a nod and stepped closer it, "Kind of... odd." He murmured, half to himself. He couldn't recall ever taking a swing at something when he wasn't raging... this would most definitely be a first.
He pushed his worry away, after all he was allowed to hit the dummy... and he did, several times as it felt good to get his heart rate going, to wake up, and to do something physical like this. He had to force himself to stop after a while since the teacher told him to take a few swings, not beat the dummy into a a heap.

Cecil jotted down some notes on his pad. "Very good job. Now you seemed to be a bit warmed up. That's good. Now than, you need to use your claws in a way that will be affective towards your opponent. Also, you need to learn to channel all that anger inside of you. Use it to your advantage. Ruffle the opponent up a bit, and then go full force onto them. A good way to do this, is not to get upset and charge straight at them. If they are at all good in martial arts, they will know what they need to do in order to defend themselves. Now, make sure they throw the first punch. If they do, than you can use your claws in a defensive way. I don't suggest going out and starting fights. That's never good. You'll just get into trouble and we all don't want that. So, now, swipe, swipe, dodge, swipe. That's how I want you to think about it, alright? It's the easiest way that I can say to get you into your opponent, take closer steps in each time." Cecil said, all in one moment.
He had a lot to say, he just wanted to get Duncan learning this, so he could go out and learn how to control his anger, using it towards his advantage in battle. Hopefully he would take some of this to heart and use it the next time he got into a fight of some kind.

Duncan looked over at the teacher as he began to speak, his metallic wings giving a little twitch and a chime as he listened. It seemed a very strange idea when he heard it, to use channel his anger but... it was something he needed to learn to do. Were he to channel it he would be better at dealing with it...
He looked down at his clawed hands before he made the appropriate swiping motions that the teacher had mentioned. So several swipes mixed with dodging and taking steps forward toward the opponent? Moving ever closer, not letting them get away... sounded like something from the Nature Channel. The best thing that the teacher could have said was the 'I don't suggest going out and starting fights' line. Hearing it from an adult that wasn't his father helped to drive that lesson into his head.
He made a couple more random swiping motions before giving the teacher his full attention, "What else?" He asked, once he had the idea of swipe, dodge, step down.

As Duncan did his thing, Cecil wrote down everything. He smiled. "Very good. Now, we need to give you an opponent. Hmm..." he said, thinking. He didn't know who else to give him but himself. A little fighting lesson with the teacher would do, right? If either of them got seriously injured, than they could always get help and just stop fighting. It was a little time for some fun. "Alright, I think I'll fight you. Bare handed of course. I just want to see how you do against a real opponent." he said smiling. He placed his pad down on the floor and walked over towards the middle of the dojo. It was time. "Come on. Show me what you got!" he said, getting into a ready stance, seeing what would happen. He would just slap him around a bit if anything else.

Duncan starred at his teacher as though the man had grown a second head... he wanted them to fight? He wasn't sure it would go well... the man was surely better trained if he were a teacher. He walked forward toward the man a bit unsure before giving a nod of his head, "Um... alright." He said, wondering how he was supposed to start and who was supposed to start...
He shifted in place thinking on it then gave shrug and lunged forward at the teacher to take a swing at him. He guessed that hands on was the best way to learn something... he just hoped it went well. If nothing else at least he knew his rage couldn't overwhelm him.

It was a starring match between the two at first. Duncan had started to lunge forward, and he saw it coming. He quickly got down underneath the arm that was now above him, and then jumped out of the way to the side, with doing this, he tapped Duncan's head on the way up. Hardly anything that could hurt him in any way at all. It was only a simple tap was all. Pretty much signifying the fact that he could have gotten hurt then.
The teacher then began to get ready for the next incoming attack, if any.
