@Sousuke: Nope. Not a rumor. She LOVE shooting. I'm sure you might be able to find a picture of her in her hunting outfit as I had seen one of her with a dead moose by her. Also, she has admited to arial hunting. This is FAR from a rumor. Oh, she also has a ridiculous witch doctor ceremony thing too (this is our possable VP???). ...'nuff said.

I'm a utterly unsurprised. Palin is ( in my opinion at least >_>;; ) a disgrace to our country, and people have (unfortunately) been getting away with this kind of stuff up there.

*nods* She is powerful stupid. She's not a real disgrace to the country though. The mere thought of OTHERS pushing her to this level of power, and Bush who pushed our country into a hole is the disgrace. Oh, that, and the majority of the people. That's what happens when you don't have REAL voting and rely on the politics of Jesus and money instead of securing a country and keeping us out of debt.
FUN FACT:
Did you know at one point we had the debt counter taken down because we had it pretty low? Well, it got back up eventually. Did you know that the debt counter had to be taken down recently because Bush pushed the debt so high, we NEED A NEW DIGIT?!?!?!? Someone, a mather here, tell me, what comes after "trillion"?

And yet, that's how much we OWE. Huh........ Turns out all those rich people who didn't get taxed and all that money wasted/lost/given away to pork military programs and nifty projects that did nothing really ******** us. Who knew? Oh well. Georgey boy was elected because Jesus told him too. And that's friggin stupid awesome.

Ok, because I didn't wanna believe it, I did a little research on it hoping to prove it wrong.
Found out that the previous governor of Alaska passed a law/act thing allowing people to go into helicopters to hunt wolves because they was such a high population that it was decimating the moose/elk hunting for humans because the wolves are much better at it than us (Which is great, considering we have guns while all they have is claws and fangs XD). But this act only ALLOWED them to do it.
Palin passed a law/bill that ENCOURAGED people to hunt wolves from helicopters. The article I read didn't prove or disprove if the pups thing was true though. I just skimmed though and did the ctrl + F and searched for "pup" and "cub" and nothing came up on the page.
I talked to my dad about it. He said he didn't believe the pups part, but he thought it was kind of reasonable for the other part. He said that wolves in Alaska are like coyotes in Wisconsin, meaning that there's a lot of them. He didn't really agree with the hunting from a helicopter part though.
EDIT: I hadn't read any of the links on that page, but I still don't really believe it. I believe the part about the killing of the wolves and, while I don't like it, I sorta agree with it. If the wolf population isn't kept under control, it'll lead to starvation and stuff. If I HAD to choose, I'd rather have the wolves shot than have them be in pain longer and starving.

Ugh, that's just sick. I remember reading an article on that once, aerial hunting. It would be one thing if they hunted them the old fashioned way, but from the air is just inhumane. In most cases they have to pretty much torture the animal by exhausting it, and keeping it running until it literally has no energy left. And I agree, the population has to be kept in check, but I think aerial hunting is definitely not the way to go about it. It's not even game hunting anymore, and if it is, then the humans have used a cheat...
( And, gawd, that was a sucky pun Dx )

*nods* Humanity is gay like that. Sky shooting was illigal, like, once. But Bush said it was fun and decited to say do it. I've seen TOO MANY online patition things asking for sigs to put a stop to this, but I never sign. It's no use. There is only one way someone can stop this without getting into office and being smart or having a super power to threaten the humans. Money.
Get yourself a huge a** amount of money, buy a large chunk of land, block it off as a HUGE protection area, and put in a no fly zone to boot. But what richest person in the world would do that? Why, that'd be spending their unlimited fortune to help animals and not themselves... <******** humans... I hate them so much D=

*shakes head* I'm sorry, but it doens't matter how big a land mass is to support the numbers of a creature that was taken off of the threatened list ever so recently. That's like saying "hey, Asia is friggin huge. It's cool to go out and hunt tigers because, well, it's ASIA.". It's like, we have enough numbers with what little conservation we have, but somehow that's able to justify letting people shoot them in another place.... It's not right. If anything needs to get shot, it's humans. Too fecking many and we need traffic to move quicker.
