My church has opened a christian book store that we were planning for a long time on Saturday ( thanks to God and the prayer of th church ) and I was interested in a certain book. It is called " A Divine Revelation Of Hell ". The author prayed to God to show her her purpose in life, and God took her spirit and took her to live in hell for 30 days. She describes how real and how terrible hell is, and it litterally makes you stop sinning, my friend said. There are two other books. One is called "A Divine Revelation of Heaven," and the other I forgot.

Edit: I would also like for everyone to pray for my churches bookstore and that people would come in and be blessed...and buy a book. xd But seriously, please pray for my church and pray that God will bless us in a great way.

Actually no they are not. I don't want to get too much into the book, but heres the basic info: The author was praying to God and Jesus came to her in spirit form and took her to hell for 30 days and heaven for 10 days. The books are basically about her experiences, what she saw, and what Jesus actually let her feel.

I'm a little confused, where in the Bible does it mention an eternal hell?

I don't think it does. But Jesus took her to hell and told her to write about the things she saw, smelt, felt, heard, and tasted (the five senses). So what she witnessed was so that people would know that hell is real.

She may have seen it, but that doesn't mean it came from God. God loves us too much to have those who don't choose Him suffer for all eternity. I see this vision as coming from the evil one

If it's not from the Bible it's not from God.

Not always, some people stil have visions and make prophecies, I know cuz i've had some(check journal). It is up to you to decide whether it is from God or not. You just have to remember who God is and pray about it, and God will help you figure it out.

While it may not say that... it does say that heaven and earth shall pass away. and there shall be a new heaven and a new earth. and he shalll make the new jerusalem there... and that those who were not taken to be with him in paradise... would go where there is weeping and nashing of teeth.

and... you know... some people from my old church used to often warn me.. because i talk to theLord.. and he talks to me. he doesnt' give me visions or prophecies very often... however, He does often give me messages or missions iwth people.. andsome people used to say how to be careful as it might not be of the Lord. But Jesus said my sheep know my voice. and the voice of another they will not follow.

and.. if you still feel uncertain about something you hear proficied over... pray on it.. and beseech the Lord that he would test it before you so that you can know for yourself whether it is true or not. If it is true.. the Holy Spirit will bear witness of it in your heart....

I am back for a single posty!

In regards to Hell... It isnt eternal... all of those in hell will be destroyed in the lake of FAH YAH!! Now if that isnt convicting enough to go shout out the Gospel I dont know what is.

I think books other than the Bible can be beneficial but it CANNOT replace the Bible. Be sure to read other books with discernment, test them with the fire of the Word of God!

I'm praying that God will guide you guys!

Thank you! Hell is not eternal, God would not want those who denied Him to suffer forever. I'm glad someone agrees.

But it says in the Bible:

Mat 25:41 "Then the king will say to those on his left, 'Get away from me! God has cursed you! Go into everlasting fire that was prepared for the devil and his angels!

Anyway, I still recommend the books. Your choice to read them or not.

This everlasting fire is not necessarily hell. The firey place under the earth inhabited by the red devil with horns and a pithfork and his minions, is an image created by man pieced together from different stories including the bible, but not only. The tortures in the hell we think of come from tartares in hades from Greek mythology. Hell is most often described as the place of "weeping and nashing of teeth". It is place where you can remember your past for almost an eternity. The fire described in the passage you mention is about something completly different, ultimate destruction. Just as God can create beings into reality, He can just the same destroy them. That also means, those in hell will be destroyed just as Satan will, when time runs out. Scary stuff exclaim eek

Tarter sauce you know a lot of stuff! But still, you are correct. Hell is a place where people who:
1: Didn't know God and uncountiously followed satan.
2: Were told about God and did not choose to follow him
3: Did witchcraft/other satanic stuff
go to suffer for their consequences. When Jesus and the author walked along the pits where the people burned, she says that she saw tears fall from His holy face. That goes to show how much he loves his creations, although they did not choose to follow Him. The book says that hell is divided into parts like a body. It has two legs, left and right, two arms, left and right, a brain I believe, and a heart. All I'm going to say is that there are pits where people burn, special cells like jail cells where people that followed satan burn and are tortured, and other sections where people suffer for their sins. The book really gives a hardcore description of how hell is like. ( I used the word "hardcore" because its a word I like to use to emphasize things ). I really think that people that want to know what the real hell is like should read the book.

And what you say about how the "devil with the pitchfork, tail and horns in a pit of fire" also applies to the image people give angels. People think of angels as human beings with super-human strength and large, white wings. People also think that when you die, you turn into an angel, which is not true. If you want to know more about this, read the author of "A divine Revelation of Hell/Heaven/The Spiritual Realm"s book A divine Revelation Of Angels. I'm currently reading the book. Four thumbs up. xd Edit: I just realized I corrected myself.
