 Rain looked at Rosie with a smile. "Want to go for a nice walk on the beach? I think this party is staritng to end. Starting to end that's kind of an odd thing?" He said with a smile. He hoped he wasn't being to foreward asking her to leave Sally and the party to go with him. But there was something about her; he just had to ask.

"Oh that sounds great!" Rosie replied happily, while giggling a bit at his little joke. She entwined her arm with his, hooked together at the elbow and with a sparkle in her eye looked up at him saying "Lead on!"

"So, are you having a nice time?" Rain asked as she put her arm around his. He blushed a little. Rain walked near the water so that it touched his feet now and again. Fall was coming. Rain could feel it in the air and water. He knew that rain was comming too. The smell and clouds were in the air. Still, they could walk away and it was nice to walk in rain if it did come.

"Oh yes" Rosie nodded enthusiastically. "A wonderful time. I don't come to the beach often. It's a nice change from the gardens. I love all the green there though too. It's just....this has a different air to it. Fresh and relaxing." Mentally comparing the two places, her mind drifted off a bit watching the moon's reflection dance among the waves.

Rain nodded. "Yeah, I know what you mean. I didn't always live here on the beach. Although, I do prefer it to where I did live." He slightly shuttered at the though. Why his dad and that family liked to live in Draganid was beyond him. "There is something about plants though." He winked to Rosie who was very planty and pretty to him.

Rosie blushed slightly. She was sure he was talking about her. Unlinking her arm from his, she sat down on the sand, reclining back on her elbows to gaze at the waves washing up on the beach. "I seem to vaguely remember being here before with you making sandmen."

Rain nodded before he too sat down. "Yeah, that's right. That's the first time I met you with Sally. You have grown so much since then." He looked at her with a smile. Rain then looked back to the water. "I made a slide out of a rainbow for you and that bracelet."

Rosie chuckled. "I'd forgotten about the slide. That was fun. Hey you wanna see what I can do with my powers? What's your favorite color??" She leaned forward to dig a small hole in the ground.

"Really? Sure." Rain smiled happily at Rosie. He'd love to see what others can do. As long as it wasn't something scary. Not that he thought Rosie's would be. "Um... well, how about blue." He wasn't really sure what his favorite color was. He knew purple was his mother's.

Rosie giggled as she looked him over. "I should have known." But as she was glancing him over an idea struck her....but could she do it? She'd never tried that before.
"Let me try something else though. Just for you. I hope you'll like it!" Cupping both hands over the shallow hole she had dug, she closed her eyes, concentrating with all her might. Slowly at first, a small sprout grew up between her hands, gaining in speed as it grow larger and larger. Before long a bush waist high and sprouted up and blossoming on it was clusters of roses. As the first one bloomed, Rosie gasped in delight. It had worked! Each beautiful rose was a rainbow of colors, the moon's refection dancing on the petals, making them sparkle and glisten.
She glanced over at Rain eager to see his response.

Rain watched as the bush grew and then flowered. It was very beautiful. "Wow, that's wonderful. What a beautiful rose and power for a beautiful girl." He blushed a little as he had not meant to say that...out loud anyway. Rain bent down to spell them and they smelled good too.

Rosie was thankful for once that you couldn't couldn't really tell when she blushed. She giggled nervously. Why did she always feel so giggly around Rain? "Thank you. They won't last for long, not here in the sand anyway." She tugged on the stem of one of the larger roses until it pulled away from the bush, and stripping it of it's thorns, leaned forward while he was smelling them to tuck the rose behind Rain's ear.
"There, now we match."

Rain smiled as she put the flower behind his ear. "Yes, I guess we do." he chuckled at the thought. "I think your power suits you very well." He looked again the roses before looking back at Rosie. He smiled as he held out his hand. "Want to continue?"

Rosie reached for Rain's outstretched hand but instead of letting him help her up she pulled on it, pulling him off balance, while giggling.
"I dunno, don't you think we should build sandman before we go? It's almost tradition." She smiled at him mischievously.

Rain fell next to Rosie with a plop. It didn't hurt of course as the sand was a nice and soft to land on. He looked over to her and smiled. "Really? I guess you are right." He nodded before getting up a bit to look for something to put water in. "What kind of sandman should we make?"
