So.... Anyone read the Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith?... I think its an amazing two books and I wished that L.J. would have written a third book and continued about Elena... Anyway, discuss what you liked, what you didnt, what you wish would have happened, what you thought would have happened etc.

i've read the first 2 books they seem pretty cool. but they're just not my thing, there's just something that's missing in it, i can't explain what though sweatdrop

I have read both of the books. I thought it was a great story. Compare to Twilight, Vampire diaries have more graphic/bloody scenes. I actually had nightmares on the second book. There was one scene where it got really bloody. I think that's what happen when you read right before you go to bed. hahh
But I thought Damon was very romantic, even though he's not the main character.
But I am going to start reading Vampire Academy soon. I hope it will be a good book.

There's a new series on the CW called The Vampire Diaries...is it based on the book, or is the name just a coincidence?

I read the first one and I have the second one on hold at my library. I loved it but i thought Twilight was the bible compared these books.

UGH! I really don't like twilight.....but man...I can't wait for Vamp. Diaries to come to C.W.....DAMON is played by the crazy brother from I-Carly smile but he's actually cute in Vampire mode smile

It's a good book series but not as good as the House of Night series. I do love the books though. I wonder if Stefan is going to come back in the next book. He should because Elaine loves him.
