It was late in the evening as Ceres laid with her head on her paws watching her family lounge around after dinner. She was a little sad, upset a little at what happened with Soleil at the beach. She had been trying to get up the courage to go back and see him again, but she couldn't get past her favorite rock without feeling like she had nothing to say to him, or at least fealing like an idiot.
She watched as Jasper and Chalce were talking some distance off. It looked as if they were getting ready to roughhouse again. Ceres smiled, and then turned her head towards Kirgha and Lucy who were also watching Jasper and Chalce, but in a conversation themselves. She couldn't hel but continue to smile as she saw how happy her family was.
She knew Chalce was seeing an awful lot of Tropica lately, and then there was Lucy who would go off for a time. Ceres didn't worry as much about her off on her own anymore, mostly because she knew how to handle her sickness in any situation now. But she knew that Lucy had someone to feel happy with when she went off, mostly because Ceres saw how happy she looked when she came back. Ceres loved her family a lot.
Ceres sighed and the episode on the beach filled her mind once again. She looked at a little bug crawling around by her nose and wondered if they had the same worries as her.
She got up to go to the lake to think. Ever since that shinny lioness was there, she took to that place to think since then, as if the glow from Sandy had lingered there that long just to comfort her.

Laying silently Lucy enjoyed the company of her family, especially since they'd all grown into their prime. Each of her siblings had developed into their own personality's and little lives even she had a friend outside of the family and as the days passed it seemed as though it wouldn't be long before they'd all start going their own separate ways. The ghostly white dragoness savored these moments, sitting with her mother and sister watching the boys talking and playing, their father had really come a long way from the day they entered the world, he took much more responsibility for them which showed in their mothers attitude more so than ever.
As Lucy let out a yawn she stretched out her paws and peered over to her sister, she'd been looking unusually down recently and though Lucy would try and comfort her she didn't seem to be terribly good at it. Not around the family that is, she always felt the need to be sarcastic about this and that but deep in her heart Lucy really did wish she could help Ceres.
With Ceres shift in stance it looked as though she was about to head out again, Lucy mused for a few moments before getting up to follow. Maybe she could figure out why her sister was so down, she had a good idea what it could be about but not the details. So deciding to tag along she gathered her paws up and made her way behind Ceres to try and get some time alone with her sister away from the family.
Sandy was fluttering about quite a ways away, it wasn't quite that time of night for her to start her insomniacs flight about the Isle but she knew it was inevitable tonight. Recent events in her own live had caught up to her and sleepless nights were worse than ever.

*Though Ceres wasn't entierly without obsevational skill, when she was troubled it seemed as if she was the worst huntress on the isle. She troded to the lake notising nothing but the feeling of wanting to think clearly. As she stood at the lake's edge looking down into the water, she finaly heard the rusling of someone who had followed her down the path.* "Lucy!" she said supised as she turned around and saw the source of the noise. She smiled brightly as if trying to hid her feelings, "What are you doing here ^_^? "

Lucy hadn't been very stealthy in her following, though Charming had taught her how to be a subtle hunter she'd not seen cause to use those skills here. There was nothing wrong with following your own sister to have a chat about things and the family where usually pretty busy with there own lives to notice them walking off. "Ceres!" Lucy chuckles in her slight mock then scolded herself, she was here to be nice, like they used to be as Pups and not the slowly distancing adults they'd been becoming. Smiling Lucy nodded and walked over whilst making her reply "I figured it's been a while since we were alone just us two sisters." As she reached her sisters side she couldn't help but poke at the water causing ripples to form. "So now we're away from everyone else... Whats up?" That wasn't what she felt like saying she wanted to be horribly blunt and blert out questions about her personal life but she knew better and she used to know her sister.

*Ceres was glad Lucy was here. She loved her sister a lot, and felt that she, as a female too, would understand what she was going through. She never felt as if she ever ignored Lucy, but there were times she felt that she and her other siblings were leaving her out of their games when they were growing up. She smiled softly as she answered her sister.* "Nothing really...just trying to figure some things out...you know...just...things...feelings mostly." *She couldn't help it but look anywhere other than her sister. Then she saw the water and thought of the beach again.* "Well...it's Soleil mostly too...." *God she thought she was stupid. Maybe that's what love did: Made people stupid a little.*

"Things? Plenty of things on all our minds I suppose..." Lucy let out a little sigh, she wanted to leave the family camp and have her own life, she'd become quite good at caring for herself. Over time she'd learnt to make sure there was always a source of food close by or with her, hunting had become much easier since Charming had given her a few pointers and taken her out to show how it was done. Though part of her still tugged at her to stay in the comfort of the family, holding her back.
Lucy's attention snapped back to reality when she heard the males name "Soleil eh?" That was that sunflower lion her sister had seemed to spend more and more time with over the weeks and months. Most of the time she'd come back happy and bubbly but as of late her mood seemed to dampen, and what with the mention of feelings and her behavior today her suspicions were becoming confirmed. It was hard for Lucy to just blurt out things like "So you love him?" It came quite naturally, with being the youngest and quietest if she ever had wished to be heard it had to be quick and to the point.

"Thought so..." Was her first reply before sitting quietly and listening to the rest of her sisters words, she seemed a little more loss than her usual confident self maybe that was loves effect on some people. As Ceres fell to the floor Lucy couldn't help but blink a few times, some very strange effects indeed, she wanted to poke her a few times but resisted the urge and nodded. "Well he is male..." She couldn't resist that one, their father was the perfect example that men took longer to catch on and own up to their feelings. "I've never really spoken to him I'll be honest but I've seen how you two are." Lucy was searching for the words to try and make her sister understand, in fact she reckoned if she herself told Charming how she felt it would be quite a while before he returned the feelings if at all.
As the sun started to make it's decent Sandy was beginning to lower her flight around the isle looking for something to amuse herself, coming away from the beach and a little ways into the Isle tree's. With a flutter of her wings here and there she was happily gliding just above the treetops when she came across that lake she'd once met a little pup. Sandy had checked here every so often to see if her little friend was about with no luck but today there wasn't just one there were two but they certainly weren't pups... Taking her time she landed quietly a few feet behind the two and examined them, they looked new to their size and by the looks of it the red one could very well be her little fluff ball friend, what was the name again? Oh yes Ceres, how could she forget! But what was she doing on the floor...

"Men are funny creatures arn't they?" *Ceres said laughing after her sister spoke. It was true that Soleil was kind of oblivious at times, but that was one of the things she liked about him. He would do the funniest things. She laid her head down and watched the fish in the lake remembering the poor lion when a crab attached itself to his paw.* " It’s obvious..." was all she could say in response, but then added, "but he knows now." *Her ears perked up, thinking they heard something, but she shrugged it off as a mind trick. "He said a few things about it though, saying he would be a burden to me...and that his past was rather colorful...but it doesn't matter...at least not to me..." She got up and sat. She looked at her sister trying to convey the feeling of importance Lucy's presence was to her at the moment, "What worries me is, have I made a mistake with telling him so soon?" *Ceres then closed her eyes. She felt a familiar presence there...was it that lioness from that night a while ago? Or was it just the lake's presence?* "Do you feel that presence Luce?" Ceres said whispering to her not sure, "Or is it just me?"

Lucy shuffled her paws restlessly, wanting to reply to things blatantly and to the point as soon as her sister had said them. She was doing a good job in her opinion at being civil and holding her tongue long enough for Ceres to say her messy thoughts out loud but her eyes were begging to be rolled at so many things that seemed obvious to her.
"Then make him understand that. Your a big girl now, you can handle it and it obviously doesn't bother you if you still feel this way about him." It was a relief when her sister got back to her feet, the ghostly white dragon felt a lot more comfortable sitting face to face with something and wasn't at all attuned to giving sympathy. It was a surprise that Ceres was listening to her advice, non of her other family or friends had really asked for her help though she'd forcefully given it at times. "May have, but it must feel better out then in and like you said he knows now, and with men it's probably better to tell them sooner so they can let it sink in..." She let out a snicker, her sister probably had told the male too soon in all honesty but Lucy didn't feel it be her place to say nor would it do any good now.
The clothed lioness was well within hearing range not that the two dragonesses where whispering or anything. It was pretty obvious what the topic of conversation was, especially being the previous conversation she'd had with the fluff ball, wait could she call her that anymore? That Soilei really seemed to case a lot of fuss with the poor dragoness without meaning to Sandy was sure of that, but it sounded like she'd told him, probably a little early judging by the tone of conversation and the oblivious nature of their shared sun flower friend. As the conversation seemed to lower in tone to that of whispers Sandy leaned in to try and hear more and realised how rude she was being eaves dropping. Straightening her composture and taking a step or two forwards she put on her best smile and greeted the two. "Evening Ceres and..." She peered over to the other dragon with her fangs showing only slightly under the bright smile, she'd not met her yet, though the two did look like relatives.
As her sister began to whisper Lucy scrunched her maw, she did feel something, surprisingly comforting but she had no clue what it was, taking a waft of the air she turned towards the new comer with a dubious glance. "I don't just feel... I see..." She'd turned just in time for her eyes to meet the approaching lioness then to hear her greeting, how long has she been standing their and why did she know her sisters name?

Ceres turned as she reconized the Lioness' voice and smiled brightly. "Sandy!" Ceres turned to Lucy, "She's a friend of mine I met here one night...she helped unclutter some thoughts ^_^" Ceres turned to Sandy and smiled brightly, "This is my sister Lucy, she helps me too, so I'm really lucky to have her." Ceres smiled and couldn't control the happy twitching of the tip of her tail as the two best people she knew were at her side. She went over to Lucy and sat next to her. She tried to gather her voice and seriously state the next phrase, but her excitement got to her a little, "Lucy, to me anyway, is my best friend." Ceres said smiling brightly. She hoped she it was brighter than Sandy's glow, cause the twitching in her tail couldn't stop. Perhaps, Ceres thought laughing in her head, she inheareted her tail from her father...or at least the tip. "So," she said closing her eyes hapily, "What brings you to these parts?"

Sandy's smile continued as Ceres spoke and introduced the other dragon, sisters.. that made sense they must of inherited the colors and markings of the different parents though because they did look similar in a way and yet so different. As Ceres went to stand by Lucy and explained their bond Sandy couldn't resist her smile becoming even brighter, her eyes closing briefly at the cuteness of the meeting. "Nice to meet you Lucy, been helping out Ceres out too eh?" She winked towards the sisters and giggled as she saw the tail seemingly having its own mind in it's frantic wiggling.
"It's good to have a best friend..." Her mind started to roll back, did she have a best friend? Sandy supposed Soilei could be considered her best friend despite the lack of time she'd spent with him recently, and what about Stravina and Vulcan? Vulcan mmm her kneels were beginning to feel weak again in her mind she was thinking of Vulcan a little more than a friend, something to do with all the butterflies fluttering about in her stomach whenever she thought about him or even just his name. That brought her back to the conversation she wasn't really up to much, bidding her time till she could go bother one of the for mentioned three lions really. "Oh I was just flying over before the night drew over, checking if you were about actually!" Her smile reappeared, it wasn't hard it was always doing that. "And you are so, how are" Her eyes shifted back and forth as she attempted to act sneaky "Things..."
Lucy wasn't paying much attention to the new comer, only her eyes where giving Sandy her full attention. Her paw was still dabbing at the water and shaking off the droplets each time. Wow did her sister just refer to her as a best friend? That was a stepping stone for the family, she always figured that deep down they were all secretly ashamed of her but her sister very defiantly just announced a very close bond to someone Lucy didn't know. Chalce had even gone with Lucy to the beach the other day... maybe her family really did like her just for who she was, despite the influence Charming had on her. When the lioness giggled she followed the line of site to her sisters tail, it defiantly had the trade mark of their fathers and Lucy couldn't resist her own giggle.

Ceres saw Sandy be sneeky with her words, and smiled. "Not too well, but Lucy defenetly talked some sence into me." She looked away a little and watched Lucy play with the water, "I've told him what I think, and now it's up to him." She looked back at Sandy seriously a little, "However, I still think he's being stuborn, and making excuses for being alone." She felt braver. She was still growing, but even then, did people ever stop growing? Even if Soleil didn't like her back, she utimetly wanted him to be happy. "What we really want is for the people we love to be is happy right? No matter the outcome for myself, I will be happy if he is happy, and if that is without me, then so be it. But I will not stop trying my best being his friend." Ceres then smiled brightly, her tail twitching again, "And how is Sandy this night? She can't be all too bad if she's flying all the way out here for me ^^""""

"Thing is.." Sandy started padding close to the two so she wouldn't have to raise her voice to be heard, and took a seat "Soilei's a bit oblivious at times, you should know that. He says one thing but could mean another." Nodding Sandy let out a sigh, after all she'd tried often enough to hint at one thing or another and had to spell it out for him to understand. She was guessing Ceres was smart enough to know that and had told him nice and simply how she felt but if even then he was rejecting her then... well either he was scared or she just hadn't said the right things. "He could still think of you as a fluff ball of course" She smirked and winked again "After all we both met you when you were young, you need to reassure him that your big enough and Old enough now to look after yourself but kinda need him, get what I mean?" She scrunched her maw it was indeed quite hard to explain how to deal with Soilei and Sandy herself still didn't quite know how to do it herself she just tried her best. "But yes... we always wish for people we love to be happy even if it's without us, but I don't think that's the case, I've never seen Soilei with another female, well apart from Stravina and I but we're just friends so no worries there!" Giggles escaped her maw "Just bidding time till it's late enough to sleep."
Lucy was sitting back and listening to the new lionesses words, she had never met Soilei so she could only offer advance of men in general but this male they both seemed to know seemed different. It felt a bit awkward to sit there and just listen not be included it reminded of her childhood being sat on the sidelines whilst her three siblings played. But she was here for Ceres and would listen as much as she needed to help her... best friend... feel better about the situation.

Ceres smiled softly and looked at the ground. "I'll always need the people I love...most of all my family, and I want Soilei to be a part of my family." she looked back up smiling, "My parents and siblings, they never needed me to be there for them, but I was just in case." Ceres' eyes moved towards Lucy and smilled softly, "Some of them, they had so much strength in themselves...they just never really saw it..." She chuckled and then turned her eyes to Sandy, "But sometimes, I can't help but think Soilei needs someone to look out for him more ^^ He's so ditzy at times it's cute. 4laugh " Ceres could help but keep thinking of Soilei and the crab at the beach. Such a clutz, but that's what attracted her to him.
"Oh My God!" she just suddenly thought, "He's almost like Papa!"
