Couple weeks ago I'm sitting in my friends car in her driveway with my sister and her friend. I got bored so I started poking around at the junk lying around on her floor and whatever. It was night so it's dark and I see something roundish and bright colored sitting on the dashboard, so naturally I reach out and grab for it.

Next second I sort of scream/curse and chuck it back at the dashboard with extreme force while I throw myself back into the seat to get away from it. Then keep shaking my hands like I touched something hot. This of course has my sister and her friend caught between confused fear of the unknown and cracking up at my seemingly random reaction.

The thing on the dashboard? A keychain shaped like a fish. I hate fish, with a firey passion. Some people can't stand spiders (my sister), or rats or snakes. For me it's fish, they disgust me to no end. I feel like wiping my hands off on my pants just thinking about it now! xp And my friend knows they freak me out but apparently it's lucky or some stupid thing and since I don't usually ride in her old clunker she didn't think to warn me it was up there. gonk

Oh that sucks. I know what you mean about touching something you don't like. I can't stand to look at tics and horseshoe crabs. Freaks me out every time and I start to get queasy.

Was it made out of rubber or something to get such a strong reaction from you?

That was quite odd - I was expecting a result of it being a spider or something similar.

But poking stuff in general - either will hurt your finger or it'll anger others haha.
