This is a topic that no morph can go into, obviously.
This is pretty much the resistance HQ
Vaida flew overhead, and arrived at Fefga's house, after the skirmish to save Alihi. Mika was on her back, but Vaida had almost forgotten, as she made a somewhat rough landing.
Vaida then proceeded to carry Alihi inside, as she waiting for all the others to arrive. She was hoping that many had already arrived and that a priest was among them.

Ed flung herself in rather carelessly, then straightened herself and brushed off any dust, her tail wagging behind her.
"I can't believe I missed all that! But then again, I've been missing a lot in FEF. What's going on?"

Mika smiled, looking around at everybody. The smile still seemed lacking, however. She regretted having to go against her sister. She was glad that they saved Alihi, though. It was pure luck that Madriana was off guard and cast an attack weak enough for Mika and Rei to block. Rei had been confident, but Mika was not. It stunned her, that it worked, more than it stunned Madriana. As she looked around at the resistance force, she wondered briefly if she was doing the right thing.
No matter what, Madriana would be her only family. And family is forever. These friends... She wondered what would happen when Madriana and the morphs leave for good. Would these people still be her friends? Would Madriana attempt to take her with her? Would she then be forced to live out her days with her sister and the morphs, branded as a traitor, never to be looked on with love, pride, or kindness again?
These are the thoughts that crossed her mind as she looked around at her new comrades.
"They'll be back, you know." She said, finally speaking. "They won't be gone for long. They're planning. They'll find a way to get back at us." She looked at the ground, reflecting on some of the things her sister had done in the past. Remembering. After another moment, she decided again to speak. "She's here because she wants control in this world. Where we're from... Is dark and lonely. There aren't many natural living things for her to rule over. That's why she wants power in your world. My sister has never been one to give up that easily. She's planning something. It won't be fun and games when she returns."

Vaida turned around after Mika had spoken, and looked at the little shaman, with her typical rough look. "You think we don't know that?" Vaida took a step forward. "I got this place set up, so that we can be safe and prepare for their next strike. They can't get in here, because Fefga won't let them get passed the barrier.. and we have Fefga now. We ALSO have me!" Vaida paused for a moment before she spoke again. "I'll let whether you think you did the right thing or not up to you, but... it doesn't really matter." Vaida turned around. "I told you once before.... Make up your mind... and don't look back." She walked off to deal with other things, mumbling to herself as she walked off.
Infuriating indecisive little... girl that reminds me of Tori.

In spite of such dark news and information, Ed's tail continued to wag in an oddly cheerful manner. She inclined her head somewhat as she regarded the shaman with the empty smile. Ed hadn't seen her around. Then again, Ed hadn't been attending the events that were going down recently. But she had been asked to help...
"Where we're from... Is dark and lonely." So they're from another world...? A lonely and depressing place, it sounds like.
Her ears swiveled and twitched somewhat, and she grinned. This oughta be helpful information.
"You're awful confident, Vaida," said Ed, still looking unusually cheerful. "I admire that in times like these."

Alihi honestly was about to burst into tears.
I-I'm alive... I'm actually alive... She smiled lightly.
Back at the stage, she was... ready to die if it came to it. Sure, she really didn't want to, but... she didn't try to think of her reasoning. She glanced at everyone in the room once before sitting herself down on the ground, her feet unwilling to support her anymore.

Aidan, who'd been standing near Alihi, nodded.
"We have more comrades on our side now." He smiled. "I think we can beat them."
The tactician turned to Alihi. "And we managed to get one of our own back..." Involuntarily, he put a hand in his pocket, as if to check if that small green key was still there...
I hope Soren and the crew are all right, too.

In the aftermath of that failed show of power, Vika found herself with Synra, alone. As she looked over that fallen, confused form, she knew she needed to get help. The Dark Mistress...Madriana, she wanted to overtake everyone, and while she didn't approve of Madriana's methods, she didn't agree to the drastic steps the others were taking to prevent them. As she sat there, watching Synra, she pondered...maybe...maybe Synra could help. She wasn't like them, was she?
"Synra, are you well enough to stand? I...I think I have an idea."
It was almost suicide. She'd heard that wyvern woman shout something about meeting at 'Fefga's house'? Maybe that was where they could...should go. With Synra, maybe they could work out a plan. She had to be careful; it seemed as though everyone distrusted the morphs, everyone except that Renault man. He understood what Vika was finally coming to realize...
"Synra, we need to go to where that wyvern woman was gathering everyone. I'll keep you safe...don't worry." She stood, helping Synra to her feet, and braced the morph's light form against herself as she began the walk there. It wasn't an overly long walk, but Synra's presence made the time pass quicker.
Some time later, they'd made it to the door. Vika knocked and waited a moment before opening the door and allowing the two of them to step inside. Eyes upon her, she waited to be spoken to. She whispered into Synra's ear.
"Don't worry, Synra. I'll keep you safe."

Alihi smiled at Aidan, nodding lightly. She jumped slightly as the door slowly opened.
I-Is that a morph...? She immediately tensed up.
