Syd sighed, a little overwhelmed as he carefully set down his violin in its case, closing it and setting it on a shelf amidst the rest of his instruments. He felt a little bad, setting up the things so carefully spaced took up a lot of room, even though this was both a book room and a music one. He sighed, stepping back and staring at the beauties, looking upon them like they were his own children, all very fragile and delicate, they were a force not to be reckoned with. He shuddered though, feeling weak in the knees, as he flopped down in a nice arm chair that he'd set up in there, staring at nothing in particular, just at empty spaces between things.
He let out a heavy sigh, he was pretty sure this was it, this was the last thing that needed to be set up. More guilt rose up, he'd taken a while to do it...granted dragging a piano that was atleast a few hundred pounds was a little bit difficult, since he wasn't made of muscle. Though none of this came near to the biggest part of his train of thought. He'd now realised what had happened, he was in love, that was big, especially to him, and he was living with someone who didn't drive him crazy. He sighed once more, this time a happy one, and he sat there, a dreamy look spreading across his face as he mused over his thoughts.

Calum finished putting the rest of his clothes away in his and Syd's bedroom. His tail couldn't seem to stop swishing in a display of his pleasure. Finally, he would have a place that he considered home. And as an added bonus, it would be with the man he loved.

Casting one last look around the bedroom, he made his way to the stares. His muscles screamed in protest with every movement, but he ignored them. When he reached the bottom step, he called out, "Syd?"

Syd's left ear twitch as he heard his name, and he muttered out an exhausted "Yes...?" as he slumped out to where the stairs were. He smiled dopily, his arms lithlessly hanging at his sides.

"You look as tired as I feel," said Calum, he smiled tiredly. He stepped off the bottom step walked over to Syd.

He laughed, his ear flicking bashfully as he straightned up. "Yeah...though...I'm happy, it's a good tired!" He said, "Like one of those achievement tireds when you think, 'I really shouldn't have done that.'" He shrugged, stretching his arms and staring at Calum, "Should we go to the hot spring now...? It'll make us feel better..."

Calum's ears perked at the mention of the hot spring, a small bud of nervouseness growing in his stomach. He knew what it was he planned to do today, and just the thought of it was making his hands sweat. "Sure, just let me grab a few things..."

He cast one last look at Syd before turning and heading right back upstairs.

"Alright..." He muttered, watching as Calum went upstairs. He sighed, not a sigh of relief or a sigh of contemptment but just a sigh. Perhaps being exhausted gave sighs disclarity. He staggered sorely over to the couch in the living room and sat in it, slouching as he waited for Calum.

After stopping in the bathroom to grab a couple of towels, Calum went back into the bedroom. He went straight for drawer that held his shirts and pulled it open. Without needing to fish around, he pulled a small velvet box out. He stuck it in his pocket and closed the drawer, hurrying back stairs before he would have time to change his mind. "I'm ready."

Syd yawned, an ear flicking as he heard Calum come down the stairs. He stood, looking over to Calum and walking over. "Then lets go..."

"Lead the way." Calum's tail flicked in an attempt to resist fidgeting. He clutched the towels closer than he needed to and asked, "Are the close by?"

Syd nodded, "Yus...only about a half a kil-uh...about a quarter mile..." He muttered, not even sure his calculations were right. He had never gotten used to conventional measurements, it got him graded down sometimes in highschool. He shrugged it off, though, leading Calum out the door.
It turned out that his calculations were almost right on...going through the forest behind the house, the hot springs were located about a half mile from the house, it was a rather convenient location. It was, simply, a rather large pond located in the middle of the forest with steam coming out. There were a few bolders in the water and it was surrounded with round rocks on every side, acting as both a wall and something to sit or lean against. Wether some namir had made this, or it naturally occured, was unknonw. He looked over to Calum and smiled, "Here they are..."

Calum was silent as he followed Syd, not trusting himself to talk in case he said something to mess everything up. He simply trailed behind Syd, watching the other male's every movement. Unlike usual though, Syd's presence didn't chase away his worries. Instead, it made these ones worse. What if Syd said no? He wasn't sure if he would be able to take it...

When they reached the hot springs, he looked them over. His ears wildly flicked as he edged closer to the water to peer into it, the heat causing his glasses to fog over.

Syd sighed, wondering why Calum was so silent, though he decided not to ask.

Looking over to Calum, he grinned, it was like in the cartoons he watched as a kid, "Don't get too excited, love..." He muttered, kissing Calum lightly on the cheek. He smiled, looking Calum over for a moment, before looking back at the water, "So, lets do this..." He said, his tail flicking playfully, his tone of voice making him seem like it was something scandelous. "Lets get in..."

Calum squinted his eyes, trying to make Syd out through the fog on his glasses. Taking his glasses off and resisting the urge to squint, he asked, "Are we..." His cheeks flushed. "Are we supposed to be naked when we go in?"

Syd looked over to Calum, smirking deviantly, "Yup." He said, lifting his shirt playfully and seductively.
