Stella had heard all about Emmet and Riley's trip to the theme park...and the Black Panther wasn't too happy about being left out of a place that had spinning things, bright lights and loud music. So when she found out that Emmet was going out with his sister, Stella was all over Riley, harassing him until he gave in and took her to the park.
The black ball of energy plucked at her wristband that pretty much told the ride people she was tall enough for about half of the rides...but none of the huge ones that she really, really wanted to go on. Oh well, there were plenty of other flashing things for her to look at. Of course, her first stop was the cotton candy vendor, and she bolted over to the bright pink and blue floss before Riley had the chance to tell her to not run off.
This was off to a great start.

Jasper and Yeesha were out again, however at least this time the taxi driver hadn’t had to take time off. He was slowly running out of vacation days as his time with his new charge increased, but he hoped that Yeesha would start quieting down now that she was more settled. Even if the trips slowly started making their way down to every weekend he would be content. He wasn’t sure how many times he could go to the park or the swimming pool before he died of boredom. Yeesha, however, seemed to be thoroughly enjoying all of those outings, and Jasper had to tell himself that that was what mattered. Still, getting a swimming pool in the backyard was starting to sound pretty good…
The theme park was everything Yeesha had dreamed of, and more. There were so many people and so many scary rides! She had had her eyes set on the Haunted House since they’d arrived, but she’d had to wait for the man at the gates to give her a wristband. It made her scales itch, but she had to leave it on or else risk not riding on anything. That would be horrible. Still, she rubbed it whenever she thought her guardian was not looking. Once they were inside the park, Yeesha paused to look around, yellow eyes taking in everything it had to offer. This place was huge! It must be bigger than Ana’s house (or as big as she imagined Ana’s house was)! With a grin, the alligator girl made to run for one of the games when something black suddenly intercepted her path. She didn’t have to time to put on the brakes and settled for yelling, hoping that would scare the black thing out of her way before they collided.

Stella was on a mission: Get the Cotton Candy before Riley could stop her, and then spend the rest of the day on a sugar high that Riley wouldn't be able to tame. Though only the first part was her mission, the second half was the outcome if her plot if it succeeded. Unfortunately, her journey to victory was blocked by something green, scaley, and yelling at her.
Now, it was a common warning to those who believed superstition to not let a black cat cross your path. All one could hope for was to not be superstitious at a time like this, for Yeesha didn't have the black cat merely cross her path...no, the Black Cat collided right into her.
"Oof!" Stella cried out, falling to the ground from the impact. Once the rush from the fall was over, Stella sat up slightly and poked at the scaled creature who had fallen onto her. "Hiya. Your scales are pretty. Are you okay?" The little feline asked with a wide grin on her lips. She was fine! Luckily for her she was wearing that nice new white jacket Riley had gotten for her; it hadn't get had a chance for the fabric to get warn down and thin, so it took a lot of the damage for her elbows! As for the rest of her...well, Stella was used to falling. Yay no damage done. Her tail kind of hurt though. Oh well!
"You're kind of heavy." She informed the girl happily, with not a speck of malice in her voice or expression, just a mere observation. "Want Cotton Candy?" The little panther pointed to the cotton candy stand, just about four feet away. Apparently the collision was already forgotten, and Stella was just waiting for the other girl to get off of her.

Apparently, the yelling had no effect whatsoever. Yeesha threw her hands out to brace herself as the pair of them hit the ground, ending up with her palms against the pavement and her body practically on top of the black thing. Luckily her scales had protected her from the ground, thus saving her from any injury. She was, however, more than a little miffed. Who in their right mind ran right into the path of an alligator on a mission? Clearly this black fuzzy thing didn't know anything about predators. Yeesha had sharp teeth and a nasty tail. Most people would have avoided her like the plague when she looked determined. But whether this black fuzzy was brave or just plain stupid she didn't know. Yeesha was about to find out.
The alligator girl opened her mouth to scold Stella when the black cat spoke to her, throwing her off guard. A compliment? And then a question of concern? Hmmm… Yeesha's temper cooled a little, as she moved to get off the black cat and stand upright. After a moment's hesitation she offered her hand to the girl, deciding it would be a good thing to help her up. After all, she had called her scales pretty. "'m okay. You look okay." Yeesha gave Stella a once-over with her eyes, not bothering to ask if the girl was alright. She wasn't bleeding, therefore she must be okay.
"Cotton Candy?" Yeesha repeated, and looked to where the girl was pointing. "What'th that?"

Stella was a little bit of column A, a little bit of column B. While fearless, there were some smarts she was lacking. Like tact. And a word filter. But the alligator would more than likely find these out later. Right now, the issue was the falling thing.
"Yep I'm good." The black cat said, jumping to her feet with the girl's help. She dusted herself off, from her yellow shirt to her orange skirt and her now dirty white jacket. She kind of looked like a Candy Corn. "You're heavy but didn't hurt." She commented with a smile, fixing the thin strap on her left shoulder with one hand while the other fixed the little orange bag the strap was attached to on her right hip.
Black spotted ears perked up out of messy black hair when the alligator questioned the Cotton Candy. Stella's jaw dropped momentarily in awe; this girl didn't know Cotton Candy?! Blasphemy! "You don't know Cotton Candy? You're weird." Stella said, her nose wrinkling in surprise. Geez, they had the same colour eyes and yet the aligator didn't know Cotton Candy! "C'mon you can have some of mine! It tastes yummy, like pink and sugar." She said, reaching out and taking the other girl's hand without warning and pulling her in the direction of the cotton candy vendor; her original destination before she got run over. The pink part she got from Emmet, the snakeboy had used "pink" to describe the cotton candy, and Stella thought it fit. Of Pink had a flavor, it would be cotton candy.
"Two please!" Stella said to the vendor, taking the money out of her little bag and giving it to the forlorn teenager working the booth. She had decided, at the last minute, to give Yeesha one of her own; Stella didn't want to share. When she got them, she gave one to the strange girl and kept the other one, picking off a piece and eating it. Mmm...Cotton candy!

Yeesha's nose crinkled when she was called weird, but she decided to keep her mouth shut. There was no need to start a "no you're weird" fight, especially since she was trying to be on her best behaviour. After all, they were still even. Stella had gotten a minus point for not getting out of her way, but a plus point for being okay after being landed on by an alligator girl. Yeesha didn't pick fights with people who were still in the neutral area. It was only if they did nasty things like fight back when she was in a sour mood or take things away from her that things got messy. Besides, it seemed that the black fuzzy girl was going to share her candy thing. That would make up for the weird comment.
"Pink has a tathtes?" The alligator girl asked, as she was suddenly grabbed and dragged towards the vendor. Yeesha wasn't sure she liked being grabbed and drag – she was always the leader! – but this girl seemed to know where she was going. Her fur felt kind of neat against Yeesha's scales, so it was okay. Having no money of her own (Jasper knew better than that) she allowed the black cat to buy her some of this cotton candy. It was definitely not what she was expected. For one, it didn't look like hard candy. It looked more like the fluff that came out of the pillows that she had destroyed in a fit of rage once. Maybe that was why it was called cotton candy and not just plain candy.
Still, it looked fairly bizarre. Could she bite it? It almost seemed too fluffy to bite. "Thweet ith good, but I dunno if I'd like to eat thomething with a pink tathte," Yeesha complained, watching as Stella pulled off a piece. "How do you eat in anywayth? It'th too fluffy to bite!"

"Well no, Pink is a colour so it doesn't have a flavor...but if it did this would be it!" Stella said happily while she waited for the cotton candy. When they received the cotton candies the Panther watched the alligator try to figure it out. Her ears were perked as high as they would go, apparently very interested in how the other girl figured it out; which was strange for her, who usually didn't care. "You'll like it?" She offered. The alligator did receive a confused stare when she asked how to eat it.
"Y'don't bite it." Stella tsked, pinching some of the fluffy pink stuff between her finger and thumb, pulling off another piece and making sure the other girl could see what she was doing. "Peel some off, kay?" She instructed, then put the piece of candy in her mouth, explaining as it melted. "Mhelts ehn mowth, ish shtickies" She swallowed what she had and was ready to take another piece, but instead she stood unusually still, her golden gaze still focused on her friend.
Of course, it was a fleeting focus. After a record breaking two minutes Stella's gaze waivered to some of the roller coasters, probably driven by the screams its patrons had. "Lets go on that one" The little Panther said in awe, still half munching on her cotton candy.

So if a colour had a flavour, then this cotton candy would be it. That was a rather bizarre thought, but Yeesha decided it wasn’t worth thinking too hard about. It wasn’t like she didn’t like pink, after all, so if pink had a good flavour then she would only like it even more. The alligator girl was momentarily distracted by the movement of Stella’s ears – they were much more wiggling than she had expected! – however the confused stare caused her to focus back on the task at hand.
Yeesha watched intently as Stella pulled off a fraction of the cotton candy and then put it in her mouth. So you had to use your fingers instead of your teeth to rip it? That seemed kind of lame. Ripping things with your teeth was half the fun of eating! Still, she did as the girl had demonstrated, and tore a piece off. Carefully, as though it was going to do something bizarre, Yeesha tilted her head back and dropped the cotton candy into her mouth. It was a lot softer than she expected, and not as chewy but it was very good! She grinned at Stella, and licked her lips. “It tathtes good!” And that settled that.
When Stella looked away, Yeesha followed her gaze, yellow eyes landing on the roller coaster. Now that looked awesome. She shoved another chunk of cotton candy in her mouth and nodded eagerly. “Do we have to thcream though? That seems kind of dumb.”

A grin came to her lips when the girl claimed it tasted good. Stella munched away on her Cotton Candy, chewing though she really didn't need to. Cotton Candy was a wonderful thing, and the aligator girl liked it too! Though it didn't mean anything to her that the girl liked it; it just meant that it was something in common! That was all that mattered to her fleeting little mind.
"Nah, you don't haveta." She waved her hand dismissively. Her grin seemed to widen and become rather crooked. Her pupils had changed in size to become somewhat bigger in excitement, looking like a kitten that was about to pounce on something shiny. "But I'M gonna." Stella took a wide stance of pride. "I'm going to outscream those people!" She proclaimed, punching the air in front of her with the hand that had her cotton candy cone in it.
Luckily for her, she didn't lose her cotton candy. Unlucky for the person who decided to walk past her though, as he got a nice punch to his thigh and some pieces of the candy stuck to his pants. Stella didn't apologize, but the guy kept walking anyway, grumbling. Somewhere behind her, Riley groaned in despair over Stella's lack of observation.
"C'mon lets go! We can eat in line." Stella said impatiently before bolting away, sneaking through the crowd to get to the line up for the coaster she had spotted from a distance.

They didn’t have to scream? Excellent. Yeesha grinned happily as she chomped on her cotton candy, enjoying biting it even if it fell apart far too quickly in her mouth. That was the nature of this candy, or so Stella had explained to her. It didn’t mean she couldn’t enjoy biting it though, even if it wasn’t the same as biting into a sandwich or something a little meatier. Alligators were good for biting, and who was Yeesha to go against her nature?
She paused with another chunk halfway towards her mouth when Stella proclaimed that she would scream. Why would she do that? Screaming wasn’t very brave. For a moment she frowned, but Stella explained herself soon enough. So it was a competition to see who could scream the loudest? “Tho you have to outthcream everyone on the roller coathter then? Why?” She understood the concept of competition – being a very competitive person herself – but she didn’t understand what was so special about screaming the loudest on the roller coaster. As far as she was concerned that made you the biggest baby.
Still, the alligator girl trotted after her new friend, cotton candy tucked safely near her body. She didn’t want any of it ending up on somebody’s leg like Stella’s had. Her tail swished behind her as they got in line, which gave the two girls a rather wide birth to avoid Yeesha’s dangerous appendage. “Where d’you wanna thit?” The alligator girl asked as she stared at the roller coaster from their place in the line. “Front or back?”

Stella looked back at the alligator girl when she was asked why she wanted to outscream everyone else. There was a crooked, plotting girn on her lips. "Really said people scream when they have fun on the coasters." The little panther explained. "So I'm gonna have more fun than them." A determined Stella might not happen often, and her determination was usually short lived, but when it was there...it was there. Nothing could get in her way...unless it was more interesting. But a roller coaster beat most things in terms of interest! "Well, I'ma outscream 'em cause I can." Which was a more accurate summary of why Stella did things.
Despite losing a little of her cotton candy to some strangers leg, Stella kept eating it. "Front!" Was her quick response, putting her hands on the chains that seperated the line. She made a happy noise and put her weight against the chains, swaying back and forth as the metal tried to adjust to her weight. "Gotta be in front. Then we're first in seats and I'll be first in screaming! We'll be Team Win." Eventually the chain lost her interest, and it was easily replaced by the sight of the other girl's tail.
"Oh hey Wow! Your tail is pointy!" She gushed, reaching behind her to grab her own soft, somewhat mouldable tail. "Is it hard to sit down? It looks like it would be." She wanted a pointy tail too! Hers wasn't cool like the alligator's. Either way, she managed to keep enough interest in the Roller coaster to move along with the line.

The alligator girl blinked her yellow several times. People screamed because they were having fun? She'd never heard of that before. It didn't sound fun to scream while you were on a roller coaster, but then again, Yeesha had never really been on a roller coaster before. Besides, Stella made it seem like screaming was a good thing, and she only did it because she would. Seeing as Yeesha followed a similar line of thought – she'd do it because she could, and generally because she wanted to – the alligator girl nodded her consent. "Kay, we'll thrcream louder than everybody elthe!" And that settled that.
"Yeah! We'll be Team Win!" Yeesha agreed with a grin, already eyeing the front seats. Anyone who tried to get in front of them would find themselves shoved out of the way. That, or knocked over by her tail. If she wanted her front seat then she was going to get it. Not to mention, if Stella wanted the front seat as well, she would try doubly hard to get it for them. What use was it being a predator if you couldn't throw your weight around a little? Her Daddy would have disapproved of her pushing people out of the way, but Jasper wouldn't say anything. So long as there was no permanent injury then he didn't mind.
At the praise of her tail, she grinned toothily. "It ith thometimeth, but I just curl it like thith," she demonstrated the way she tucked her tail against her body. "And then it thtayth out of the way. Ith good for hitting people though." At this her grin widened. "You have a pretty tail too! Ith'th very long." Just then, the rollercoaster slowed to a stop at the loading docks, allowing people to get off. The moment the chain was lifted, Yeesha reached out to grab her new friend by the wrist and made a dash for the front seats. Front seats were theirs!

Stella's yellow eyes widened. "S'good for hitting people?! COOL." This alligator girl was definitely someone to keep around! She leaned down to touch the tail in both awe and curiousity...and completely lacking to remember to ask permission. It looked so scaley! Like Emmet, only way more violent and way more colourful. "Eee, that is awesome!" When she got praise for her own tail she grinned as well, about to say something about it before the screech of the roller coaster cut her off.
The little panther was quick to take off after the other girl, and as a team they made it to the front seats; but the people behind Stella weren't too lucky. In her quest to get her and Yeesha the best seats on the coaster, Stella had cut off a guy and his girlfriend, causing the girlfriend to trip; The black panther oozed bad luck, but it generally only affected those who crossed her path. True to the superstition, perhaps. Either way, she was too excited about the coaster to notice she had caused someone to trip, or to even notice if Yeesha had to defend their seats from someone else. Stella would have been upset to hear she missed Yeesha's awesome tail in action, if her new friend had resorted to using it.
But the seats were theres! After plopping herself down in one of the seats and being safely secured, Stella looked over at her friend. "Ready to outscream everyone?!" She asked excitedly, bouncing in her seat and waiting for it to take off. When everyone was settled and secured, the rollercoaster started its clicking ascent to the first drop.
"Go Team Win!" Stella screamed out then, her arms in the air as the rollercoaster took its first dive down the tracks.

Yeesha was very pleased that Stella thought hitting people with her tail was cool. Neither of her guardians thought as much. Hitting people made her a bad girl, or so her Daddy would have said. The alligator girl didn't think she was a bad girl for hitting people with her tail. If they got in her way then they deserved the thwack. She made sure to hold her tail still though so that Stella could touch it. Touching was okay. Grabbing was not so okay, but her new friend didn't look like she was going to grab Yeesha's tail, so it was all good.
She was lucky enough not to have to use her tail while she grabbed the seats for her and her friend. Her tail wasn't the nicest thing to be hit with, and apparently people had been hesitant to get too close to her when she moved. It did, however, pose a little problem when she got settled in the roller coaster seat. In the end, she settled for curling it to the side of her and hoping she didn't slide enough to squish it. That wouldn't be very nice.
"Ready!" The alligator girl called back as she strapped herself in. It was time to outscream them all! Team Win was going to scream their way to victory! Yeesha caught sight of her friend lifting her arms and did the same, yelling an answering, "GO TEAM WIN! WE'LL OUTTHCREAM YOU ALL!" This was fun!

The Rollercoaster took a wild drop before suddenly jolting its passengers to the right, throwing them in a loop then subjecting them to various twists, turns, spins, drops and loops. True to her word, Stella screamed at the top of her lungs everytime someone else did...which meant she screamed for practically the entire ride. The panther child was grinned wildly at the thrill of the coaster and at how easy it was to outscream everyone else.
When the ride was over, Stella got out of her seat laughing, waiting impatiently for Yeesha to get out as well before pouncing on her in a hug. "That was AWESOME!" She cried out, letting go of her new friend to stretch her arms over her head, her stance widening and her tail curling. "We TOTALLY won!" Her golden gaze then twitched to another one of the coaster's previous riders who was giving the girls a strange look. In retaliation, Stella made a face at the person until they looked away, giggling and turning back to her friend.
"What should we do now?" She wandered away from the Rollercoaster, following the crowd away from it so other people could get on the coaster they just dominated. "Do you think if we try to do everything here and beat everyone, we could take over the theme park?" She asked her friend quietly, her golden eyes flicking from one event to the other. There was so much to do! Team win had to stamp themselves all over this park!
