For some time now, Blade had been residing in Kakariko Village. There wasn't any particular reason for this, aside from the fact that he got a chance to relax for a little while. It may also have to do with the fact that he had managed to stay out of trouble all this time. The last little raid he had done gave him enough to last him a short time without needing to steal again.
However, he may have gotten a little too many ruppees during that, considering the fact that he was now starting to become rather restless. But he didn't need any extra fundings, nor was there really anything he knew of in the village that would pose as an interesting challenge to snatch. So he wouldn't really feel right with taking anything here.
In any case, he just leaned against against a tree close to the trail that lead up to Death Mountain. Volvagia hadn't caused any trouble lately either, which he supposed was a good thing. And speaking of which, the fiery dragon was flying around overhead, possibly looking for something to eat, or just waiting for his tea to brew.
It looked as if it was the former, as he began to swoop down towards something on the ground in the area. His flames glowed through the darkness as he came down swiftly.

The stars sparkled brightly as Waltz walked along the mossy floor of the forest. By her side was a small potion bottle which was glowing strangely. She noticed in the sky a large firey dodongo, perhaps the Volvagia she had once heard of? No, it couldn't be. However, she was glad she saw it. It was quite a wonderful sight.
Only a moment after she spotted a man against a tree. Most stayed out of the forest at night, for fear of being attacked or eaten. In her quiet, velvety voice she spoke. "Hello traveler, are you lost?"

Hearing a voice nearby, Blade glanced to the side to see a Twilit with a strange glowing bottle of sorts at her side approaching him. He paused at the sight for a moment, since he hadn't seen a whole lot of Twilits before, but soon shook his head to snap out of it.
"Hm? Oh, no not really. I'm just enjoying the night is all," he replied with a nod, "Are you from this area?"
Volvagia had caught whatever he had just swooped down upon. However, he didn't quite feel like dining on it alone, so the kettle newt began to slither towards his companion with the rabbit between his jaws. Once in the open, he noticed another being standing by Blade.

"Yes and no. I'm not from here, but for now this is where I reside." She touched the tree closest to her lovingly. When the kettle newt had appeared she took a couple steps closer to observe it. "This is a lovely companion you have. I have not seen one such as this before."
She knelt down and stretched her hand out to it. It was an offering of kindness. Waltz had a love for all living things.

Blade looked over towards the Kettle Newt as he appeared with what looked like a rabbit between his jaws. With a light grin, he too walked over towards the fiery creature, though paused a little behind the Twilit.
"Thanks. His name is Volvagia," he said while eying the bottle she had with her, "And... that's an interesting jar you have there... What exactly is in it?"
Tilting his head a bit, Volvagia leaned forward and sniffed the Twilit's hand. For a moment, he thought to drop the dead rabbit into her hand but decided that might not be the greatest idea. Either way, she surely didn't seem to mean any harm, so he gently nosed her hand instead.
"Hehe.. looks like he likes you, and he can be pretty judgemental at times too."

Her first instinct had been correct. "Hello sweet Volvagia." She gave a small giggle and rubbed his nose lightly.
Without stopping hat she was doing, she replied to the man. "This is a bottle which contains a spirit of a floof. I found it covered in moss in the forest. This poor thing was abandoned hastily from the look of it. It was near an abandoned camp. I found it the other day. I couldn't bare to leave it there."
Waltz's smile was kind and soft. She stopped petting Volvagia and stood to face blade. "My name is Waltz. Pleased to meet you."

A floof spirit..? That's odd.
After looking towards Volvagia for a moment, who seemed to be enjoying the attention he received from the Twilit, Blade turned to face Waltz as well. Nodding with a grin, he bowed lightly before bringing his dark red eyes to meet up with hers again.
"I am Blade. Nice to meet you as well. I can't say I've seen many Twilit before so this is an interesting experience indeed."
Now that Waltz had turned away, the Kettle Newt promptly began to gobble down the rabbit hungrily.

Waltz smiled at Blade. "There are more here than you'd think. However, we tend to keep to ourselves. We also tend to stay in dark places. The light irritates us."
She began to stroke the bottle at her hip. She had become very protective of it, as if it were the most valuable item in the world. "So how long have you and Volvagia been with each other?"

Nodding at what as said, Blade thought of it for a moment. It did make sense that the Twilit would prefer the darker areas. And for whatever reason, he also didn't see them as being the most outgoing and sociable of the various humaniods that inhabited Hyrule.
After watching Waltz caress her bottle some, he looked over towards Volvagia, thinking of the time they had met.
"I met him a few months ago actually. We were both hurt when we ran into each other... and kinda looked after one another from there to put it simply."
Now down with his small meal, Volvagia slithered over by Blade, looking at Waltz for a moment before sniffing the hip at her side somewhat. It was an interesting looking thing, but he was pretty sure the floof spirit inside would not make a very good ingredient for his tea.

"That is incredibly sweet, I only wish that everyone could be like that. It seems like there is always so much strife in this world." Waltz sighed slightly. "I think its wonderful that you two remained together. So Blade, what is it you do for a living?"
Waltz took a seat on a fallen tree which had began to moss over.
The little spirit swirled about in its bottle, as if it was reacting to Volvagia's curiosity.

Standing by as Waltz took a seat on a nearby fallen tree, Blade let out a bit of a chuckle while rubbing the back of his neck. He never really liked to outright say what he does for a living, since people had a tendency to automatically look down upon him once they found out. At the same time, he didn't really like lying a whole lot.
".. You could say that I.. gather or retrieve things..?"
Blinking as the spirit moved about in the bottle, Volvagia tilted his head again and made a soft rumbling noise while watching. He hadn't really seen a floof-spirit-in-a-bottle before, so he wasn't quite sure what to make of the thing. So for now, he just stared at it intently, to see if it would react any further.
"Ah... what about you?" he asked, hoping that she wouldn't go too much further into his own odd occupation.

Waltz could sense his nervousness, and she didn't want to make him uncomfortable. "So you are similar to a treasure hunter then. That would a very interesting life style."
Keeping the rope tied to the bottle, she shifted it to her lap. "I do not really have an occupation. I wander the forests, helping the injured if I find a creature to be so. And should a traveler become lost and they are in need of help, I aide them in anyway possible."
She had a good heart, and liked to believe that everyone had good in them. Some people just had to have the fog cleared for it to be seen.
The little spirit wisp twirled around in the bottle, like a fish in water.

"Something like that I guess.."
As Waltz spoke of what she did exactly, the young man nodded and looked around the woods briefly. It would explain why she had asked if he was lost or not when they first met.
"That's quite kind of you Waltz," he said with a small smile, "Though... hopefully there won't be anyone in the future that would abuse your kindness for themselves."
Volvagia's bright green eyes stayed locked onto the small wisp within the bottle. The little spirit intrigued him quite a bit, and he wondered what would happen exactly if it were able to leave the bottle. In any case, it seemed to be an active spirit.

"I find it is what I am best at. I love the feeling when someone thanks you and smiles. That gratitude is the greatest reward in the world." Waltz was always in good spirits. She believed that positivity was the best cure for anything.
"I know there are people in the world who are like that, but I find even the coldest heart will melt with the right warmth. There have been some who have thought that they could make it on their own, and I have seem some fail." She frowned slightly. "It is unfortunate that people can not be more trusting, though I can understand why in this day people are wary. It really does sadden me."
She pet Volvagia's snout lightly as the spirit continued to twirl about. "Perhaps this little one is prepared to come out soon. Wouldn't that be a wonderful sight to see?"

It was a bit interesting, to hear Waltz speak like that. Perhaps it was the slight irony of a shadow being talking about the good and light inside of people, or just the fact that she was quite positive all around. There weren't many people like that from any race, from what Blade could tell.
"You're quite an optimist, but there's nothing wrong with that. It's nice to see a little more positive thinking over all...?"
While the Twilit stroked his snout, Volvagia let out a strange purr-like noise. It made the thief blink a bit, since he hadn't really heard the kettle newt make such a sound before. Shaking his head, he glanced down towards the bottle with the floof spirit.
"That would be nice... though if that happens, would it mean that the floof has been revived? Or just reanimated in a sense?"
Just as long as it didn't end up something like a redead or stalfos, he supposed that reanimation wouldn't be too bad.
