Papillon slowly walked around the new land. He didn't exactly know where he was going, but he figured he knew the way back to where he started out. A blue butterfly flew ahead of him while he followed close behind his friend. His long tail dragging on the ground as he walked and the tips of his mane would drag when Papillon's head was lowered enough. With each step he took, Papillon was reminded of the chains on his back. The high pitched rattling made his purple ears flick every now and then. After so long of having the chains, he still wasn't used to the sound they made.
A purple butterfly rested on the stallion's back as he walked along. His butterfly friends were always hitching rides on the stallion as he walked. It was much easier than flying. When the blue butterfly leading the way turned a little to the left, Papillon followed. He trusted this butterfly enough to simply follow it wherever it decided to go.
