It had been a few weeks since Alice and Bella had come to visit Cassie and Fiona in there home, and the two were in town again.
Today it was to see an art show in the local Gallery, they were having a specail section this season for amature artists, Cassie wanted Fiona to see how other people would like her art.

The news papers had said this was going to be a wonderful event. Full of new artists from around the area as well as some locals. It would be an interesting event and, it would mean Yuki got out of training mode.
The small angel stood beside her guardian, glaring up at Sirene, daggers from her eyes. "Why?" Was all she asked as they walked around the corner to the gallery were what appeared to be a small line forming was. Her wings chimed with every step she took making her almost like a small bell. However, say that it was a pretty sound and the looking wouldn't match it.
"Because you need to be exposed to some culture. Art is good for the soul as much as exerise it." Sirene smiled pulling out the two tickets she had gotten a week ago. "Now be a good girl and be nice." Sirene shot her own look down at Yuki, a small warning. "I won't accept it if you ruin that dress we just got you."
Yuki didn't say anything but her face softened. She knew what Sirene was talking about but the little white dress she wore was something she liked. Having it on meant she would act her best, as long as people didn't annoy her.

Fiona and Cassie were a few people ahead of Yuki and Sirene. They were talking about the event Fiona tugged lightly on Cassies jacket sleeve
"Oh! do you know whose art is going to be here?"
Cassie smiled down at Fiona and said
"Nah, well sorta. I know of at least one in the amature section."
she smiled knowingly and fiona gave her a questioning look but the line moved and she was destracted by a bell like sound
"Ohhh. whats that its pretty?"
Cassie listen then shrugged
"I dunno."

Yuki and Sirene stood in line, neither woman or angel saying much. Sirene was slowly humming to herself as she glanced at the others around her. Old and young alike where there. A few people appeared not too happy to be drug to this, about like Yuki was.
The angel on the other hand, had her eyes set strangely on a pair just before them. One had caught her eye only moments before by the pair of orange wings coming from her back. "Sirene..." Yuki whispered knowing that her guardian's attention would turn onto her in a heart beat. "I don't think I'm alone tonight." She whispered and moved from her place in line towards the two who caught her eye, every step, the wings made the bell sound as they got closer.
Sirene stood in her place, shaking her head softly as she moved to keep an eye on the small child. "Oh Yuki. New people and strange feelings drive you crazy."

Fiona was humming as was cassie, it was a habit one had picked up from the other but it wasnt clear who picked it up. She stopped humming when she heard the bell sound again. She looked around then figured out that it was getting closer and was behind her. she slowly turned around to see who or what it was.
she saw Yuki in a moment and smiled and gave a wave.

Yuki froze in her tracks. Her wings continued to make the sound for a moment longer but then stopped as she saw the wave. She had a feeling to walk back and away but she could already feel Sirene's piercing eyes on her back. Too late now.
Smiling as best she could, Yuki lifted her hand and waved in return. "Hi." She added softly, closing the distance between them. "I didn't expect to see anyone else here. I hope you don't mind but your wings caught my attention. I'm Yuki by the way." She was being nice and polite to the point that she knew Sirene was smiling. Put the herald in a dress and she's an angel. Put her in and outdoors and she's far too energic.

Fiona smiled
"Neither was I."
she admited.
"Your wings are pretty. Im Fiona and this is my guardian Cassie."
Cassie gave yuki a friendly smile and said
"hello."
then looked back to the line
Fiona couldnt keep the smile off her face
"Its nice to meet you, are you here for the art show?"

"Thank you." Yuki forced out nicely knowing that most people said that until they touched them. The wings weren't very safe for small children.
Casting a glance at the girl's guardian, she smiled back before looking over her shoulder. "The woman back there watching me like a hawk is Sirene, my guardian." Yuki spoke as the woman she was mention lifted up a hand and waved. "She said we should come to this. There is suppose to be a few local artists on display and I think she wants me to gain a new understanding of art." Yuki had to shrug not really knowing what to say at that point. When she did, the wings sounded again. "Are you here for it as well?"

Fiona looked at yukis wings she wanted to ask to touch them but she wasnt sure if Yuki would take offence so she didnt ask. She waved a little to the other heralds gurdian and said
"Yes, Cassie said she knows at least one of the local artists but she wont tell me who it is. I love art, but im not any good."
Cassie made a sound at that and shook her head slowly, her hands were in her pockets and she was letting the girls talk without bothering them.
Fiona couldnt help but ask
"What was your sacrifice?"

"I have never tried." Yuki admitted glancing up at the other guardian who made that small noise. She could already tell the woman knew more than she was letting on. Still the polite thing to say would be I'm sure you are better than you think but Yuki wouldn't say anything she might later have to regret. Instead, she turned back to Fiona and smiled.
"My sacrifice?" Yuki asked raising an eyebrow slightly towards the girl. She had never heard of anything being sarificed before and now, she hated to admit that she was confused. "I'm not sure what you mean but these," she spoke motioning towards her wings "are modeled much like a sword."

Fiona nodded
"That means that your guardian gave up her sword for you to be reborn. Cassie gave a tiger striped motorcycle helmet for me."
her wings shook a little
"thats sort of a givin i guess."
she wanted to touch the wings, she had delt with knives so she knew how to be safe with them.
"I really like your wings, they are pretty."

"A helment?" Yuki asked glancing up at her wings. She could have guessed the tiger part, that seemed likely. Yet the helment was a slight surprise to her. It made the young girl wonder if she knew how to ride. That, in her mind, would be amazing.
"Oh! They are alright." Yuki shrugged again glancing back at the side where the white half of yang was. "I have to admit, I like them, even if Sirene's arms have been cut up by them when I was young." She smiled thinking back to the woman picking her up and being slightly cut by them. Sirene had it coming. She had far warning.
"But I was wondering, do you own a motorcycle then?"

fiona nodded, she very much so liked her wings but she didnt brag on them.
"Well if your guardian got cut on them more than once for doing the same thing, then that would mean she didnt mind that much. Wouldnt it? Cassie used to carry me around on her sholders when I was smaller."
Fiona nodded then
"Yep. Well Cassie does. I usually ride in the side car, but the other day we helped a friend and she rode in the side car and i rode behind cassie."
She smiled a little
"that was fun."

"Her shoulder? I think Sirene wouldn't be able to stand with me on her shoulders." Yuki answered, hardling picturing either guardian carrying the heralds on their back. Then again, Sirene was more feminane than she took this woman to be.
Just went Yuki was about to go into how lucky Fiona was for getting to ride on the motorcycle, she noticed a man come to the door everyone was waiting before.
"The gallery is now open! Please have your tickets ready." Came a voice as he stood before the door and waited for them all to walk in one by one.
Taking it as her cue, Yuki turned back and looked at Sirene. "Well, guess I will see you inside." She smiled at Fiona and quickly walked back to the woman waiting for her.
"I'm proud of you." Sirene whispered as she handed Yuki her ticket while the line moved.
