Another day, another seahorse! Orpheus was rather interested in the information he'd received on the clipboard, he'd met Reese already and the class had gone well. Now he found out there was a second seahorse around D-Corp and that she was coming in today for a class. He was quite interested to meet her after meeting her friend.

He had set up the pool in the same manner that he'd set it up for Reese, with various items half sunk in the pool including the rings for her to try to snag with her tail. He took down a couple of notes before he pulled his prescription goggles on to hang around his neck until they were needed.

All he needed to do now was wait for Laesneniel to arrive.

Laesneniel nervously curled up in her chair as they rounded the door to her class room. This was her fist day in class, and her first time to be left alone with someone she didn't know.
Her eyes glazed over from tears at the thought of her Mommy having to leave for a little bit. Her tail curled tighter around her arm as she tried not to cry loudly. It help slightly when Learwen placed her hand on her on her head and gently rubbed her scalp, but in the long run that would make it much worse.

"Mr. Solon?" Learwen asked as she spotted the red-haired teacher.

Orpheus turned toward the voice and a smile appeared on his lips, "Hello, I am Mr. Solon but you can both call me Orpheus." He said as he walked over toward the pair, "Welcome to class Laesneniel." He greeted the little girl who looked rather unhappy to be in class today, she seemed to be a little more shy then the one who shared her DNA he thought to himself.

Lae looked up at the teacher and tried to scoot back further in her chair. Her eyes watered up even more.
"h-h-hello." She hiccuped, trying to hold back sobbing.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Laerwen placed a hand on Lae's shoulder.

"There is nothing you need to worry about Laesneniel, we will just be working on swimming and then a couple of tricks to go along with it." He said in an assuring tone of voice before he looked at Laerwn, "Are you going to be heading off on errands today or will you be staying to observe?"

"Unfortunately I have some very important errands to run today..." He pat Lae's head and whispered something in her ear before giving a farewell nod to the teacher. She truly felt bad for not being able to stay.

Lea watched her Mom leave and held back bawling. When she looked back at the teacher she did it slowly and as if he was about ready to beat her. Her lips quivered and her tail wrapped around the bar of the seat.

Orpheus nodded in understanding and then knelt down in front of Laesneniel and gave her an assuring smile, "I am not that scary am I?" He asked, "If I seem it I don't mean to, I am a pretty nice guy when you get to know me." He would have to make friends with her before he could properly teach her he decided when he saw that she was wrapped around her seat. He didn't want to pry her out of the seat after all, that would only serve to scare her more.

"You know what? I had a class not long ago with a boy like you, a seahorse. He learned the same thing that your going to learn today."

Lae shook her head slowly at his first question. Everyone seemed scary to her. As long as she didn't know them well, they were scary.
When he mentioned the seahorse boy the only thing to come to mind was Reese. She played a weird game with him not to long ago... he kind of scared her.
"Y-your not going to make me play I spy are you?" She whispered as she was able to recall the name of the horrid game.

He laughed and shook his head, "No, we are going to see about teaching you how to catch things with your tail while swimming." He explained, wondering about her aversion to I spy but wouldn't ask despite his curiosity on the matter.

"How well are you at swimming in general?" He should have asked this first he realized, before telling her what the class was based on.

Lae relaxed a little when he mentioned catching things with her tail in water. She had never tried that before... While moving and objects that were not grounded to a pool.
"um... I-I can swim really good." She guessed what 'in general' meant and went with that answer. Her voice still no more than a whisper.

Orpheus nodded, "Good, then we won't have to worry about teaching you to swim first." He said as he held his hands out to her, "Do you want me to help into the water? You can get used to the water and then we will start the class."

Lae moves a little in her chair to see if she could get into the water by herself. It was obvious that she was determined to do so by the look on her face.
But it was something she had never been able to do before so she nodded at his request.
"Please." She whispered. Her tail curled up at her side.

Orpheus nodded, reaching over to pick her up before he walked over to the pool and hopped into the water making a bit of a splash before he lowered her down into it, "Do a few laps, get used to the water and then we will start working on learning your new skill."

He looked around the pool a moment, an idea coming to mind, "You know what the pool needs? A ramp." Maybe if he had some sort of ramp down into the shallow end of the pool kids like Laeneniel and Reese would have an easier time of it. He would figure one out later.

Lae felt much better once she was in the water. She didn't need that chair to mover around so things didn't seem confined and limited.
"O-okay." Finally she broke the whisper volume by a few octaves.

And like that she took off straight toward the other side of the pool. She looked at the various items in the pool as she swam by them. The entire time wondering what kind of school stuff she would have to be doing.
School, for now, wasn't seeming so bad anymore, and neither was the teacher.

Orpheus watched Lae as she got used to the water and gave a smile, she seemed a lot happier in the water, more comfortable which was a good thing. It must be hard on kids like her and Reese who didn't have the option to move around like they wanted. He would give her the same offer after class that he had Reese, that she could come swim any time so long as she called ahead so he could arrange for a lifeguard.

"When your ready I will explain what we are doing today." He told the sea horse girl.
