For once in a long time, Bipolar was happy.

Her past hadn't been a nice one, what she could remember, anyhow. Bred and raised as an omega of her family, her siblings -- both betas -- were killed when the pack was taken over by a small rogue clan.

She remembered playing by a river with Craze when this happened, and it was as if a giant shadow was cast from Fenrir's paw. A muzzle had grabbed the pups, sending them spiraling into the river. What happened then, was darkness.

Bipo could recall snarls and shrieks of fury and pain as her father tried to keep his family calm, to let the rogues enter without problem. That was their motto.

The pups were found at the basin, one dead, one alive.

Life only got harder.

She'd found a spark in the current alpha, a forbidden affair, and when pups came through a long, hard pregnancy, only one was moving. And that pup died at her own paws as a yearling.

What was worse? She couldn't remember any of it.

But the past was over now. She was here, in Agua Azul, oblivious to the problems within the pack; or as oblivious as she could be with the stormy-pelted alphess stalking around. She had Paranoia, her blindfolded mate.

And Rend, her 'Work In Progress'. A starving vagabond when she'd found him, Rend couldn't fend for himself in this world. He'd called to her spirit, like her lost child, and she'd answered.

Rend padded along beside the brightly-colored fae, his own pelt the dullest of dulls, scarred from a battle long-since fought and lost. He'd spent his time alone. He'd been through a brutal winter, eating only what he could scavenge, like a coyote.

And then he'd met her. Bipolar. A half-sane wolf who gave him an offer he couldn't refuse. The knowledge he'd been seeking... How to hunt. How to stalk. How to -survive-.

For this, the scarred vagabond was happy for. He thanked the Heavens above, daily, that Bipolar had found him. And here he stayed, at her side like a mere whelp, tail hanging lower than hers even though she was the lowliest of ranks, a Sikla. Omega.

He just didn't know, poor thing, that Bipolar's mate to-be would want to crush him...

The Wolf had lead a long life for such a young wolf. He had gone through alot of pain and torment, which had lead the once emerald eyed wolf to lead a blind, uncommon life.

Paranoias family had been killed, his father had been training the young pup, and had placed the blindfold over the eyes of the young pup..
But when the destruction happened, his father had yelled for him to run, and he did. He took off, never looking back.

He could smell the blood on the air that night, and he to this day, did not know how he had survived such an ordeal on his own.

But he was happy now, mated to a wonderful wolf who was delightfully random, he wasliving a life he had been meant to live. His parents would have been proud.

His ears perked, as he listened for the she-wolf which had so gracefully stolen his heart.

She moved with an unsteady, unbalanced grace. Even as she moved, she normally ended up hunkering. It was the life of a Sikla.

But today, with Rend at her side, she was slick. She felt it in every pore of her soul. She was as smooth as a beaver's pelt.

One ear twitched as her sights fell on a lone field mouse. Her body went still, tail even flicking out from its lowly status. Her icy eyes focused on it, but she made no move.

The wind changed as the omega fell still. Rend's ears pressed back against his skull, scenting the wind for a scout, a spy, perhaps? Something that would chase him off, away from where he was finally happy?

Bipolar meant...well...so far, everything to him in his life, but he wouldn't protect her. She wasn't his to protect and...well... He failed at that sort of thing. He was more of the tuck-the-tail-and-run sorta guy. Literally.

But he noticed what she meant. His stomach gave an excited churn as he followed suit, inching towards the bloody snack. Slowly... Slooooooowwwwwwwly...

He kept his paws clear from any rubble, and with the briefest of tail wags, lunged. Muscles sent a slowly-strengthening male wolf through the air to land on the mouse, deadon! He snapped it up, crushing its neck, then pranced towards Bipolar, who'd brought up a friendly pose.

Without a second thought, he bashfully dropped the broken bird at her feet and gazed away.

If Paranoia had been a jealous male, the smell of Bipolar and another male hunting together would have angered the brute. But he had no fear, as he knew she would never leave him..They had invested too much into each other..Working to better their lives..

Even pups were in the plans.

Lets see the other male do that. Not to mention the other wolf smelled like a loner..
Though, he was somewhat caught off guard that BP hadnt asked him to hunt with her.

Trotting up to the pair, he raised his head slightly above the Vagabond, unknoning his ranking or if he was even in this pack, but he still raised his head, holding it higher than the other male.

"Ive been looking for you."
He purred to BP.
