Alright peoples it is October my favorite time of the year and with Halloween coming up, parties being planed, and costumes being designed. I thought it would be a good idea spread the love and a way to tell everyone your ideas.
if you hate this month you can flame me, I'll uses the flames to help bew my caldron

This Oct is going to be great! Its my daughters first halloween! I got her an awesome duck costume and decorated the front of my house with ghosts,webs,pumpkin and purple lights!

well... chilly sunny days, autumn leaves, frosty mornings, AMAZING misty sunsets, sitting by a roaring log fire wrapped in my batman cape
favourite fleecy blanket, halloween, picking apples, cooking stodgy warming puddings and cookies, windy rainy days, wearing my beautiful military coat, big stompy boots, scarves and hobo gloves, fooling my kids into thinking its bedtime a little earlier because of the shorter days twisted big bowls of soup with home made bread, chopping logs, wellington boots, hot chocolate...

I want winter!
Here in Finland we don't really celebrate Halloween, it's more like commercial happening. There is still good excuse for partying at autumn and late autumn, Small Christmas. That is when companies have their annual parties and people like to get stoned as their employees pay for it and also get into troubles of losing themselves in bad situations with their working partners. Troublesome and highly anticipated time. Wet too.

you can have winter and that cold wet stuff. give me october the month when my family and me spend time together making our house look like a mad science lad and making jello in the space of a brain and hand. and yes just like anjelkake hot chocolate

October 31st = my birthday.
Fall is my favorite time of the year, too. Here it's still warm enough during the day to be pleasant, but not so hot it's uncomfortable like in the summer. And the evenings are nice and cool. The trees are all changing color, and it rains more. The only downside is this is when all the spiders decide to come inside. gonk
And of course, Halloween rocks.

Costume ideas? Last year I was V from V for Vendetta. I will probably do that again since I don't have any spare money to waste on something I'll only wear one day. Can't do that anymore with my current money situation.

I don't know yet if I'll dress up. I probably will if they let us wear a costume to work, but I've got a limited budget too so it'll probably be something cheap like cat ears or something. xD

Heh, Transylvanian. Yeah, I'd like to find one around here. Those are great fun. And my bf unenthusiastically agreed to let me dress him up if we go to one of those. I don't know how I'm gunna do that cuz I don't have a corset big enough for him - same with a skirt and fishnets. I'm not gunna go buy all that crap for him.

I love Rocky Horror, the local village had carnival last weekend and one of the floats was rocky horror themed, i wish i had known beforehand id have bribed my way onto that float! 3nodding

Aw, lucky. I've never seen a theater show Rocky Horror, or I'd totally dress up and go. crying
@Puke: He could dress up as the biker guy that gets eaten? He didn't cross-dress if I remember right. xd

Ooh rah! Halloween is near! I usually dress as a U.S. Army MP for halloween. Complete with the armband, badge and fully loaded utility belt.(I dont carry a real gun in my holster. A CO2 pistol works just as well.) I also go to a few fall parties but nothing special.
