how can i get one of the gold or silver dragons? or when is the best time to try and get one?

Either when they're released onto the front page or someone abandons them.
I'm guessing the best time would be late at night/early in the morning (depending on your point of view), because not as many people are online then.

best way is when there abandoned.... most of the time they have clicks already on them
