One of the daughters of the sea, padded along the beach. The ocean rolled in and out lazily, splashing over her paws. Locana didnt mind. The feel of the water on her calmed her down, made her feel more at peace. Not that she was in any sort of inner turmoil, her mind was already relatively calm and collected. Her teacher had taught her that remaining calm in any situation was vital, and it made sense.
Her mind wandered to Raistlin. Her lonely Tutor. Everyone was afraid of him, or wary of him, because of what he's done. Locana saw a different side to him though. He could be nice, and even sweet when he wanted to, or when he was un-aware of it.
Locana shook her head, turning her attention to the sea. She watched the birds play above the surface with fish that traveled too close to the top. Her tails swayed softly, her hat brim russled in the breeze, but it remained upon her head. It had learned long ago, not to leave her head.

"Hello Sis" Brisote walked next to her having come out of the woods "I have something I think will interest you" a smirk spread across his face "Interested?" He was walking closer and closer to her pushing her towards the water "its in there" his shoulder was against her's now "come on lets go"

Locana tilted her head as Brisote came out of the woods, a smile found her maw. She had not forgotten the events when they were younger, but they were younger. Kids will be kids as the saying was. Locana never really understood that saying, but it was something Raistlin had said, when they'd discussed the situation late one night.
"Brodah dear. eet 'as been a long timah." she said with an inclination of her head. Her lacey sleeves ruffled softly as well, in the breeze, and her head tilted again, at his proposition. "Somedhing dhat will interest meh?" she seemed hesitant, but at his pushing, she went into the water. "Whad is eet brodher?"
"I'm supposta meet someone 'ere shortly..." she said referring to Raistlin, and the fact she couldnt be gone very long.

"Oh don't worry" he smiled "it wont take long ... not long at all" He waded into the water looked to her with a smile "its right down there, I found something" he tilted his head to the side with a smile "made me think of you" He dove under the surface making sure she followed he swam to an under water cave that was partially obscured by an ancient ship wreak, the fish and coral swam lazily through shying away from them only at the last moment, a strong current flowed through the cave entrance pulling them inside. "This way" he smiled always being sure she was close by

Nenda Locana watched her brother. Every sense warned her, every sense was on alert. She knew, in every fibre of her being that Brisote was up to something. He was never this pleasant unless he had a trick or a trap set up. To prevent any rifts in the family, she went along with it. Whatever he had planned, she could deal with it. Raistlin had taught her well, and she had a decent amount of power of her own accord.
So, Locana followed her brother into the water. She snaked though the sea, like a cross between a snake and an otter. Her hat remained upon her head, and she had no problem maneuvering. She was born of the sea after all.
Silently, she trailed her brother. All of her senses and training went into play at this moment. Her anxiety rose, knowing something was coming, but she remembered to remain calm, to keep a clear level head about the situation, and not to over-react. She and Raistlin had run many scenarios like this.

after a while the walls of the cave spread out and the water no longer reached the ceiling, the ground shallowed out and they were able to walk on dry land. It was a cave few had ever seen, the only entrance being so far below and mostly covered by the wreck, there were ancient artifacts scattered in the sand which had been washed up from the wreck, gold medallions, rapiers, a boot, hundreds of gold coins and jewels. The ocean waters had a strange iridescent glow in the cave .. or maybe it was the walls that gave off the light? It was enough to see by and more than enough to make the gems dance and sparkle
"What do you think? This is nothing compared to what I found further in though" his voice was filled with genuine excitement at his discovery, if one didn't know better you might think his only motivation was to show off his discovery

It really was beautiful, so was anything the sea created. But she never dropped her guard. He seemed enthusiastic about his find, but she had other suspicions. She kept them hidden, and to herself. Raistlin taught her not to show what went on in her mind.
She looked around, taking in the sights. Taking in the beauty of the sea. "Da sea creates beau'diful tings." she said looking around the cave. The treasures that were strewn everywhere, were won by the sea. They were beautiful as well, but they belonged to no-one now, except the sea herself.
Her tails swayed softly, her eyes travelled to the entrance. "I 'ave tah meet Raistlin. We can explore lata brodah. I would like tah see da rest of de cave. She said with a light nod of her head. She would like to see the rest of the cave, that wasnt a lie. And she did have to meet Raistlin, before he started to worry. She wasnt lying, she was following her intuition. Following the feeling in her gut, that told her to leave.

"That is rather sad sister... for you see..." he walked up to a rapier which stuck out of the sand "we aren't the first to discover this cave and our predecessors left us some very effective gifts" he pressed down on the sword which caused a large gate to drop down between them, effectively cutting her off from the only exit. "If you try to escape by tunneling through the walls you'll likely bring this whole place down around you... its not very stable rock here you see" he smiled and waded into the water. "You always were too trusting for your own good sister."

Nenda watched him, and figured something of that sort would happen. She remained calm, and watched her brother's movements. She sat down, her tails swaying softly. "Brodah, do you tink i dont know who ye are? 'ow ye are? I love ye, but ye've never been kind, nor caring." She gave a light roll of her shoulders.

Brisote looked at her with a frown "I can be quite kind and caring dear sister if only you knew your place you would see that and I wouldn't need to put you in your place time and time again." he turned to leave her but stopped and turned back "oh yes, I nearly forgot" he walked up to the bars "My hat, if you would sister, you'll have no need of it here" his tone was very pleasant, as if he were asking a dear friend for a simple favor

Nenda raised an eyebrow, watching her brothers act. For thats what it was, an act. She knew her brother, and knew what his motivations and desires were. "My place, brodah dear, is wherevah i want it ta be. I'm not standin' in ye're way. Ye're free to do whatevah ye wish."
She tilted her head at his request, for her hat. She never moved, towards him. "Da hat, is mine brodah. ye know dat" She shrugged, her tails swaying lazily, as she yawned boredly.

He nodded with an 'I knew this would happen' smile "I see, still can't help yourself can you? ... what do the humans call it? ... p***s envy? You just can't handle being a girl can you? Can't handle the fact that girls are inferior to men and thereby only belong in the home" he shook his head "I had really hoped you would learn some day sis, I really did. I mean after all you are my sister and I do care about you... but who would ever want you as a mate when there are women out there who know their place?" he frowned slightly "you disappoint me sis, you could be so much better than this if you would get rid of these silly notions... these illusions of grandure ..." he let out a sigh "well I'd best be going if you don't mind, I have plans you see, but I will be back to check on you don't worry. We will work through this together" he gave a reassuring smile "I'll work with you on this till you cab get over this crippling disability... this is a sickness of the mind dear sister, but I will help you over come it!" he turned his head to look at the water almost leaving before turning back with a confident smile "you can count on it" he turned and headed to the water

Nenda, listened patiently as her brother went on in his rant. It had been this way since they were kids. He assumed because he was a male, he was superior. Nenda knew to many different types of kitsusagi, to even remotely believe that was the way the world was. She knew Crow and his mate. She knew the fierce female Elysia. The incredibly talented Miu.
No, Raistlin had helped evolve her strong will and principles, he knew they would only make her stronger. Trying to change her, would tarnish her power, and her will. There was little on this earth, or the next, that would ever have a say over Nenda Locana. Briefly, she wondered what their father would say, if he were here now. But she shook the notion aside.
She watched him leave, and continued to say nothing. She sunk within herself, her sea green eyes closing as she fell into a meditative state.
Above the unfolding drama, Raistlin Majere walked along the sand. Yantimo was late....she was never late. A frown, passed over his features. Something had happened. If she'd met a friend along the way, she would have brought them along. "Where are you child..." He sighed. So much for a peaceful night. He summoned an old aquaintence of his, Magi. And asked her to explore the sea. He summoned Besit, to explore the land as fast as she could. He would find Yantimo. Be sure of that, he would find her.
Nenda called to Magi, knowing Raistlin would send the mer-kitsu to scour the sea. Being a child of the sea, it was easy for her to communicate with sea creatures. Soon enough, Magi appeared at the entrance of the cave, on the other side of the gate. "Aye apologize Raistlin." she paused, Raistlin could temporarily use summoned creatures to communicate with. It was like a magical telephone. "Me brodah...." she looked around at her 'prison' and shrugged.

Brisote caught sight of the merkit as he was leaving and intercepted it "I'm sorry but we are not accepting visitors at the present moment, you will need to go home, my sister is rather ill and in need of rest if you don't mind" he picked up the kit in his mouth like a parent would do and began to leave, her turned back for a moment looking to his sister "do behave yourself while I'm gone, I'd hate to see a friend of yours hurt because of your folly" he spoke slowly so that he could be understood while holding the merkit in his mouth, then he entered back into the water to leave

Nenda raised a brow, amused by the notion Brisote could hurt Raistlin. She couldnt help but chuckle at his arrogance. Nenda shook her head. The merkit growled, and wiggled around, biting Brisote on the lip, and slithering from his grasp. It didnt swim towards Raist, or Nenda. It didnt need to. It did its job, and found her.
Raistlin watched the scene from the Merkits point of view, and shook his head. Family. Oi. "What is you're son into Davey" he muttered to himself, and tapped his slender fingers on his staff.
