Gideon stretched his long, strong limbs, the P.E. uniform startlingly flattering on his althetic body. Black shorts with a small school logo that came to mid-thigh, and a well-fitting army-green tanktop. Most it wouldn't flatter so well, but that's the way things went with school uniforms. The winder options involved sweatpants and an optional sweatshirt.
Leaning down, he double-knotted his sneakers, still waiting for his more appearance-concerned twin to come out of the locker room.
The gym teacher was pleased with Gideon, who, rather than a few of the kids, didn't just sit down or read, but instead stretched while waiting for roll call to be taken. Coach Logan tapped her clipboard with a pen, sizing up the class. It wasn't a large one like in the public schools, but they were steadily growing. This one had about twenty kids.

Addy dragged her twin out of the locker room. "Come on Lilly, you can't just sit on the bench again."
Both girls looked cute in the shorts and while Addy's shirt was over-sized and nearly covered the shorts entirely, Lilly's shirt was tighter and fit her better.
"But Addy," Lilly whined, inching toward the side of the gym where the benches were sitting. "It doesn't even matter if we do anything. Coach doesn't care." That was only partially true. She cared, but there wasn't much she could do to force kids to participate in activities. As long as they dressed out, they made the grade.
Lilly made one more attempt to get to the bench and sit.
Addy pulled her back.
"Well I don't want to just play basketball by myself," Addy protested. "Today's free day, and you're going to play with me."
Lilly couldn't argue, though she wanted to. She never really could tell her sister no when she was demanding like that. Instead she just crossed her arms and stood there, waiting for roll call.

Gideon's brow rose as the blonde twins near him had a short conversation, and spoke up, one leg held behind him by a hand in a stretch. "I'll play with you. My brother will, too, so we can have even teams." A warm smile from the burly boy.

"YES!" Addy jumped with her exclamation, thrusting her fist into the air as she did. This was exactly what she wanted. "It's on!"
Lilly was less excited, but she waved and nodded, trying to mask her apprehension. She hoped the boy's brother wasn't any good because this boy already seemed like he knew exactly what he was doing. If they lost too terribly because of her lack of athletic ability, Addy would be mad.
Addy continued her little dance and started stretching too. She tried to copy some of the things that the other boy was doing, but for the most part she just stretched where it felt right.
Lilly just stood there.

Apparently, Gideon didn't realize it was a twin vs twin thing. He didn't know teams had even been decided upon. "Do you guys want to split up? I wouldn't mind playing on one of your teams, and Zav, my brother, he can be with one of you, too." Zavier wasn't very good. Mainly because he didn't care to try.

Addy shrugged and looked at her sister. "Lilly's not very good." She didn't mean it to be hurtful, it was just the truth.
Lilly would have taken offense, had the comment come from anyone but her twin. Instead she nodded admittingly and tried to keep her smile.
"But sure, whatever," Addy finally broke the silence again. Lilly never was very talkative, so she always ended up being the one to do that.
"If you and her want to be a team," she said to the boy. "That's cool too."
Technically this made it more fair anyways. Since she could telepathically tell her sister what to do, it might actually make it more of a challenge this way. She grinned, still confident in her own abilities as an athlete.
Lilly walked over to they boy, since it looked like they would be on a team together. "So what's your name?" she asked. "I'm Lilly and my sister there is Addy." She felt obligated to introduce them properly. She thought she'd heard the names of this one and his brother before (they went to the same school after all), but it couldn't hurt to be formally introduced, just in case.

"Giddy," Zavier complained, loudly, from the entry way of the gymnasium, and not for the first time. He had stalked inside with a sulky air, his ascot having been unraveled to pull his dark curls back. It was a brilliant emerald color today, offsetting his pale complexion and freckles quite well. The pout, however, did nothing for him. "Giddy, this outfit makes me look horrible! Look at this!"
The young man gestured near violently towards his frame. It was true, his complaint. Being a skinny creature, the extra-small shirt still hung limp and loose on his body, the shorts that should have been to mid thigh baggy to near his knees, knobby things that stuck out on pale, thin legs. His reasons were valid.
He stopped when he saw his brother was speaking to talking to two other people. Zaviers pout automatically disappeared when he saw that those two people were girls. In its stead, he beamed.
"Who're the nice young ladies, Giddy?"

Gideon was never one to say negative things about his brother, whom he adored, and instead just smiled. He was about to answer Lily when his curly-haired twin arrived, pouting and whining about his uniform as usual. Casually reaching over, he tapped one of Zav's bony hips, giving him a pointer. "Try tucking in the shirt."
With that, he was back to the conversation at hand. "Nice to actually meet you, girls. I'm Gideon, and my brother is Zavier."
Repeating the blonde girl's introduction, for the sake of his twin, he smiled slightly, picking up a ball from the gym floor. "This is Lily, and that's Addy. We're going to play basketball with them. You're on Addy's team."
Gideon knew how Zavier loved to team up with pretty girls.

Addy grinned and propped her fists on her hips to check out her soon-to-be basketball partner. "Hi." Not bad.
Lilly smiled at Gideon's twin. "Hi, Zavier."
