His brother was sure that Ligeia was completely nuts when he found the owl happily packing up a picnic basket when it was pouring rain outside. Not only that but he seemed happy about it raining out, said that it was the rain that he was waiting on.
"I don't think I will ever understand the way your mind works." Ter muttered, more then happy to go back to his TV shows while the owl finished packing the large basket and closed it up.
"If you can take this Vorel I am going to get that umbrella I bought." He said, hurrying back to his room to fetch the beach umbrella. The fact that Summer was over made it so such items were on clearance, a lot cheaper to buy them when nobody wanted to keep them in stock. He'd gotten a brightly colored blue and orange one. The orange had made him think of the color Chath used to be and blue was Ligeia's favorite, "Alright! I got it."
Vorel nodded, picking up the basket carefully by its handles and started toward the front door, waiting for Ligeia to open it up for them. The owl did so, pausing at the door to look over his shoulder at where his brother was sitting, coiled up in front of the TV with his wyvern, "We will be back later."
Ter lifted a hand to wave but didn't turn away from his show, not wanting to miss anything.
The owl and the Frost were gone then, closing the door quiet behind themselves.
*****
The park was where they had agreed to meet, Ligeia was walking with the umbrella in his arms with Vorel holding one large wing up and out so that the water wouldn't soak his owl, "Why picnic today? You don't like rain, do you? The Frost asked as they walked along.
"Chath likes the water, if its cool and wet out I think he might be less prone to fainting. Besides I have the umbrella so I won't get wet." He explained, giving a smile. He didn't mind the rain or having to be out in it so long as it was for someone else. Besides he really had to make it up to Chath, making him faint not once but twice in such a short period of time...
He motioned, "Over there would be best, we can set up the picnic near those tables." There was even a place he could put the umbrella so that nobody would have to worry about holding it up. Soon enough they had their picnic area set up and Ligeia was unpacking the meal while Vorel went off chasing birds, frogs, and other tasty creatures that were foolish enough to be around when he was.

The black dragon wasn't growling for once as Chath changed the gauze along the blacks side checking the wound Baroness had so kindly left him. It was healing and didn't appear to be infected, but better safe then sorry he replaced the gauze much to Keir's annoyance.
Don't need anymore.. He stated with a toss of his head, Chath ignored him for the most part. He was too excited about his date that he was just hurrying along.
Knowing that Geia was bringing a picnic basket he did his best to think of what he could bring. Lots...of dry towels? Not that he needed them, but he didn't want his boyfriend uncomfertable...after all he was being nice enough to go out while it was raining.
And hopefully this time he won't pass out...again..that had been an embaressing thing to wake up to. Packing up a bunch of things he thought it best for Keir to not fly, they hadn't really gotten the hang of flying together...and being wounded didn't help.
"Come on Keir. Lets go." He said in a happy tone, his black only rolled his eyes, dragged himself to his feet and followed after him.
***
Chath eagerly scanned the area as he walked with the plenty of blankets in tow. He never asked Keir to carry them, he was after all able enough to do so even without the full use of his arm.
His smile grew as he spotted Ligeia he couldn't wave as he was being weighed down, but called out anyway.
"Ligeia!" came his voice, he certianly sounded happy didn't he?

Ligeia turned when he heard a familiar voice calling out his name and a smile appeared on his lips, "Chath!" He called back, lifting a gloved hand to wave at him, "Hello!" He looked at what the newt was carrying and he smiled, that would be helpful for them to sit on since the benches were a bit damp he thought to himself.
He walked to the edge of the umbrella's protection and stayed there, waiting for the newt to come over. As much as he wanted to go over to him he didn't want to walk out in the rain. It didn't bother all of him, just his wings... made them feel heavy and soggy and messed up his feathers. It always made showering such a pain too.
He looked over at the Black Dragon that was with Chath and felt his curiosity rise, it was on the tip of his tongue to ask Keir how he was feeling after hearing about what happened between him and Baroness. He decided against it, not knowing where he and the Black stood at the moment. He knew that Vorel wasn't exactly sure about the situation and Keir's temperament was much worse then that of the Frost dragon.

Chath had put a plastic bag over the towels to prevent them from getting wet, but asides from that he was wearing what he wore everyday. Shorts, no shirt and sandals. He loved this weather, he didn't even need his spray bottle, he felt content knowing that he didn't have to fear passing out.
Moving over he leaned forward to give Geia a kiss he was smiling broadly as he looked more than happy with the weather.
"Sorry I took so long I needed to change Keir's bandages." He apologized as he then went to place the towels down on the bench.
The black dragon looked miffed at being mentioned and only groweled a bit before fixing a look on Vorel before moving to sit under a rather dripping tree. He himself enjoyed this weather as well...though the gauze on his side itched...

Geia gave a smile as Chath approached, doing his best to hide the fact that he was looking the newt over. Hard to keep from starring given Chath's mode of dress but the owl did his best. Not that he was wearing to much more other then a tank top with a winged heart on it. The normal outfit of shorts under a skirt, what he'd nicknamed his 'good shoes' and his gloves.
"Thank you for bringing the towels." He said, he'd not even thought about bringing any since he'd been so focused on the umbrella keeping him from getting wet. There was the chance that he could get water on him none the less so it was a good plan on Chath's part.
The owl glanced over the way of the Black dragon when Chath explained what had kept him, "How is he doing?" He asked now that Keir had moved away from them. He could only guess at how the Black was doing from Baroness' condition.
Vorel gave a lunged, landing on top of a frog and he pinned it down, breathing a blast of icy breath over the unfortunate ampibian before turning as a familiar smell reached his nostrils. He sniffed at the air before he caught sight of the Black dragon. He paused for a moment before he lowered his head, grabbing the frozen frog and tossed it back. He contimplated Keir as he chewed but ended up returning to his hunting instead of going toward him. He really had no idea where he stood with Chath let alone with the Black dragon, he would leave Keir be for now he thought.
It would be easier that way as he didn't want to be a bother... oh! Another frog! Vorel's serious train of thought derailed as he chased what he hoped would be his next treat.

Chath only beamed at the praise, he loved it espceially when it came from Ligeia. Wondering if Geia would be warm enough he fretted only a moment or two before the conversation moved to Keir. The black had moved to enjoy the weather, seeming to ignore everyone and thing around him.
"He's been sulking..." He murmured in a low tone, as he did't need Keir to get all huffy. "And I think he wants to battle Baroness again, but I don't want him too..." He continued with an audible sigh.
"The fact he can't fly now also has him rather more grumpy than usual." he mentioned proud that his dragon finally was able to fly, and he even got to try flying on him.
Keir even if he looked to be ignoring everyone around him, and it was true that was his intent, couldn't help but turn his head to idley watch the frost dragon. Hunting...frogs... Well in this weather it was unlikely he was going to find squirells or birds running about.
There was something about the frost dragon that always seemed to ...calm the black. Perhaps it was because he didn't fear any sort of competition with Vorel. Or had to prove anything to him. Dragging himself to his feet he padded his way towards the frost, flapping his wings as if announcing his arrival.
He raised his head proudly as if he had to boast.
Took flight other day. He announced.

Ligeia opened the bag up so that he could take out some of the towels, laying one of them out on the bench so that he could sit down on it. He gave a little flutter of him wings as he found the bench more comfortable like this since he didn't have to worry about his clothing getting wet, "I think she feels cheated, because their fight was cut off like it was." He said, looking over to where Keir was, "Though she has always been a fighting sort, Vorel has had to put up with it since she hatched. He has infinite patience though. Oh? Flying? That's great, I hope we can all go flying together sometime."
The owl looked quite excited over the idea of getting to go flying with Chath and Keir, it had been a long time since they had gotten to fly together, it was when they had first started hanging out and Vorel carried them both for a little ride. He couldn't help but think on how much things had changed since then which led to him look over Chath and inspecting how he'd changed, "You got so much taller... I think I might need to get taller shoes." He complained, not realizing he said it out loud.
Vorel turned when he heard a flutter of wings and saw Keir standing there, he blinked a couple times before giving a smile, "Did it go well?" He asked, knowing of Keir's desire to fly though he hadn't been able to help the Black to much in the endeavor. He wrapped his forefoot around the frog he'd caught before holding it out to Keir, offering the snack to him.

Chath beamed and went to sit beside Ligeia happily he thought to Baroness and then to Ter his face clouded a bit. The way that Ter was....and Baroness was... they seemed to fit each other perfectly. He looked over to see Keir and then tried not to sigh again....and he and Keir were exact opposites.
His attention was returned back to Ligeia as he mentioned his sudden growth spurt he gave another half smile and then wrapped an arm carefully around the owl.
"I like you just how you are...you don't need to get taller." he replied honestly. Leaning over to give him a kiss on the cheek. It was light and then he withdrew his arm as he needed a bit more space to himself. He hated how his skin was so sensitive. The dampness in the air helped though.
He gave a laugh as he observed the very vacant park, everyone would think them crazy for having a picnic in the rain. True it wasn't raining hard. Just a light spray but it was enough to keep Chath from needing his water bottle.
"I am excited to have more classes, and spend more time with you of course." He said with a chuckle.

Ligeia was more then happy to lean against Chath, enjoying the closeness before the newt had to move away from him due to his sensitive skin. The owl watched him for a moment before he looked down at his feet, "Heh, you say that only because your not the short one." He said, looking down at his shoes, "I guess shoes can only do so much though and I don't really want to walk around on stilts or anything."
He looked over at Chath, curiously, "What sorts of classes are you signing up for?" He knew this was a pivotal time, Chath would be choosing what path he wanted to take soon wouldn't he? Melee or Magic, he wondered which the newt was planning on. He already knew which his brother was taking, even heard him bragging about the new tricks he was learning in his classes... tricks that would be used on him sooner or later so Ter threatened.

Chath guessed that much was true, one usually desired what they didn't have...and since Geia was so short....ah well it just made him all that much cuter. He tried to hold back his laughter as he pictured Ligeia on stilts. It really was a funny mental image though, and by the wayhe was smiling one could tell it was exactly what he was picturing in his mind.
"Well...so far I have signed up for melee....since well I am not that great at magic." He explained with a half smile. Ligeia would know of all his troubles when it came to summoning and using magic. Thus far he was only able to conjure water and use it basically to dowse himself. He hadn't really practiced since they had broken up...but now that they were back together...perhaps he could ask Geia to help him again.
"Also thinking of learning more about dragons...I don't want to have people put at risk if they need to treat Keir. And I have a feeling he is going to get into more scraps the older he gets.." He explained with a sigh.
He then swished his tail a bit, and smiled at Geia. "What about you? you still going to focus on your ice magic?"

Ligeia nodded, "To bad, we won't get to have many classes together anymore that way." He murmured, turning to look over at the newt and a look of interest appeared in his eyes, "I can understand wanting to stick with what you enjoy though."
He looked over at where the two dragons were before he smiled, "Yeah, if hes anything like Baroness I am sure he will enjoy his battles." Ligeia was so happy that Vorel didn't seem as into fighting as the darker type dragons were, "It's so good of you to want to take care of Keir like that." He sounded pretty impressed by Chath's plans.
"I am really interested by magic yes, I spend a lot of time on it." He said with a smile as his mind wandered for a moment, "Though I have been spending a lot of time with the younger D-Corp children of late, lots of babysitting. I enjoy that too."

Chath only leaned over to brush his nose against Geia's giving him as he called it an eskimo kiss. "Well we may not be in a lot of the same classes but ...just gives us reason to get together more." he said with a chuckle.
He as well looked back to where the dragon's were at least Keir seemed to tolerate Vorel...
"Yeah your dad asked me to help out with a class of his...it was interesting. I've never really gotten to help out the younger kids before. It was fun." He explained as he nodded his head as Geia described what he did in his spare time. He really did like taking care of children didn't he? he felt a bit bad for having been annoyed at being treated like a child....Geia was Geia after all.
"Do you think you will teach any of the younger kids?" he asked in a serious tone, his hand coming to gently lay on Ligeia's lap.

Ligeia gave a happy sound at the eskimo kiss and then nodded, "That's true and I am sure there will be classes here and there were we end up together." He said, while they wouldn't be together in melee or magic there were a lot of other classes to be had.
"Oh, he asked you to help him out? That's neat. I like helping out where I can, mostly flying classes though I got to help out in one class recently because of my ability to see in the dark." He seemed to go into deep thought at the question, considering it, "Hmmm, maybe. That or I will just take care of kids of my own."
His tone when he said that was somewhat dreamy, the idea of having kids of his own was something he really hoped for one day. Taking care of the younger kids made him desire it that much more.

With ...wide eyes the newt stared at Ligeia, his face went pink as he tried to recollect his thoughts as they were derailed, and sank into an ocean of perverted thoughts. He swallowed...opened his mouth and then closed it again.
How...did they get onto this topic? "Ah...h..how many ....were you thinking?" he inquired as the owl boy had implied pural...rather than singular for kids. He hadn't really thought that much into the future...the idea was a bit weird for him. Besides they were both boys...didnt that not work?

Ligeia looked over at Chath as the boy seemed to be doing an impression of a fish without water and then he gave a soft giggle, "Not sure, at least one but more then that would be nice." He murmured... then blinked as he realized he was saying this to the one he was dating. If they stayed together, the children would be a responsibility that they would both partake in... which meant...
"Ah! Oh... I'm sorry! I never asked about you, if you wanted them..." He breathed, looking rather embarrassed about talking to enthusiastically about his dream when he had no idea what Chath thought about such things.
