Alright, here's a thread for everyone to discuss The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. This is a series I'm interested in, and other Anne Rice books as well, so I figured people would want to talk about them. So yeah, get to it, and don't forget to vote for your favorite book in the poll. And this isn't just for the Vampire Chronicles, you can discuss other Anne Rice books as well.

Yeah, but theres not really any place to find a good book. For example, the nearest barnes and noble is like and hour away.

Taltos is also a good book by Anne rice. It's been many years since I read it though, so I don't remember what species were in it other than humans, werewolves, and I think vampires and some type of witches?
I LOVED the Mummy by Anne Rice, it was really sensual and gave me a whole new view on mummies. Haha.
Lasher was good too, but I'm going to read Pandora after I finish Lord of the Rings, the fellowship. ((I've read the second and third many times, but this is the first time I've gotten a hold of/am reading the first.)) Oh it is definitely love.
Might I recommend a book for those who love medeival times and action/a small amount of romance and sci-fi?: Timeline by Michael Crichton. He is amazing <3
If anyone wants book recommendations, I am pretty decent with that... I read a shitload.

I wish I had time to read, too much of the screaming baby brother for that though.... but Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt is another good one by Anne Rice that was recently released.... it's not overly crazy with religion, it's just overall a good read

I helped?
But yeah, I'll be sure to get to that one eventually ^^'' I'm also havig a hard time finding time to read XD I'm actually doing a psych paper right now. Oy....I always procrastinate....but I DID do some last night....only a page... But that's okay...I guess XD
Anyways, I've also read a great book called Lord of the Dead: by Tom Holland. It gave me such a more vicious yet humane view on vampires. I truthfully found it orgasmic..XD Haha Not literally, but the detail written in such a concise manner really hit a soft spot for me. It's told in a similar manner to Interview with a Vampire, except there's less interruptions. I really, really liked it. It's on my favorite book shelf in my room, with other books. Lol.
