~Background~
Mina's story as a Sailor Soldier actually began a while before our story begins. At the time, she had been living with her parents in England when a white cat named Artemis introduced her to her life as Sailor Venus. The tales of the mysterious crimefighter codenamed "Sailor V" slipped back to Japan and became the subject of a pop phenomenon.

Then Sailor Venus, soldier of love, returns to Japan, and Mina begins to get back into the swing of Japanese life and to get used the idea of working as a teammate rather than a lone wolf. Forunately, not only is she a skilled fighter, but Mina is considered a very warm-hearted girl who is easy to befriend. She is a bit hung up on love, however, and is considered a bit of a hopeless romantic who dreams about who her Mr. Right might be. She also has very high aspirations. Her big hope is to become a pop idol. She tries her hardest to do those little things that women are expected to do, but she's plagued with ineptitude and her slightly inflated opinion of herself.

Sailor Venus was blessed with Sailor Heart when wishing on a star. Venus' song describes how it happened.

The Story behind Prism Kingdom:

The small kingdom was hidden discretely among Earth. It was like the utopia from your dreams. Beautiful place filled with peace, flowers, music, love, and tranquility. The ruler of this land is Lord Alexander and Lady Aura. This kingdom didn't believe in "Kings or Queens", the title to them sounded too demanding and a bit harsh. So they took upon the title "Lord and Lady" instead.

Never has this tiny kingdom on Earth residing in war. They mostly remained neutral and avoided conflicts as such. Lord Alexander was always fair and never judge-mental. He'd always hear both sides before making the final ruling. Lord Alexander took on important roles such as head of politics, head of the law, and the treasurer. Lady Aura took care of small tasks such as running the nursery for new born children in the land, taking charge of all culinary businesses and necessities department.

Throughout their kingdom everything ran smoothly. Businesses and traffic flowed evenly. Though the kingdom was always at peace, there still was curfew for everyone. The curfew stood at 10:30pm promptly. Everyone was to close down their stores and be at home at that time. Peaceful kingdom or not, Lord Alexander wanted his kingdom to stay safe and out of danger. The curfew was one of the main laws throughout the kingdom. Breaking the law required punishment. Since no one has broken a single law yet, no one has yet to know what the punishment.

Lord Alexander and Lady Aura had always wanted a family but never had the time. So of many days and nights they discussed and thought about having a child. Lord Alexander also considered the thought of an heir for their kingdom. So they strongly leaned on the thought of having a child. Whether girl or boy, they'd be happy and raise them to become prince or princess as well as daughter or son.

For the first few times it seemed like it wouldn't happen. Lady Aura was struck with grieving and had almost lost all hope. Lord Alexander worried about his wife and he had few doubts but he never lost hope. He kept trying to keep his wife hopes up. Lord Alexander arranged alone time for them and had two of his close advisers to handle the affairs of business. As time moved on Lady Aura and Lord Alexander gained back all hopes and faith for their future child.

Seasons passed and Lady Aura had a wonderful glow as she began to notice her new shape had changed. Both the Lord and Lady arranged to see a doctor and it was a official that they were having a child. It was also confirmed that they'll be having a boy. Hours turn to days. Days had turned to weeks. Weeks turned to months. And soon it had almost turned to months.

By the ninth month Lord Alexander arranged to have a ball to celebrate his son's birth and arrival. Lady Aura seemed thrilled for such an event. People from all over the kingdom brought gifts for the unborn child. A huge feast was set about at the ball. All throughout the night was merriment and excitement.

It was a week after the ball on the night of the 24th of January, that Lord Alexander and Lady Aura's son Ryoji was born. At exactly 12am, midnight Ryoji was born. He had ruby red eyes like his father and his hair was purely golden. Lady Aura thought we was like a precious jewel to her. No price could be placed on him.

At the age of 8, Ryoji began training as a knight. His father, Lord Alexander arranged private sword training lessons along with other important courses. Ryoji went through an obstacle course session as part of his training. He practice archery, he did target practice, and he also went through meditation.

Lady Aura wanted her son to also be intelligent as well as physically fit. She had Ryoji study astrology, basics of math, history, literature, art, and even politics. By age 11, Ryoji was crowned knight. His parents were entirely thrilled at his accomplishments.

In Ryoji's spare time he read a lot on Greek Mythology and dreamed of a girl who resembled Aphrodite. In Greek Mythology Aphrodite was considered the most beautiful goddess of them all. Her love quests and adventures lead her through so many affairs and she had so many kids as well. (According to historians that is. Not entirely sure.) Aphrodite was the goddess of love, beauty, and intimacy. Even men from Earth fell for her beauty. Ryoji seemed very interested in her as he continued to read on.

As he grew older, he began to wonder about mythology and question if it was real. His dreams about meeting his dream girl crossed his mind a lot. When he reached the age 16, he told his parents he wanted to go on a quest to look for his love of life and search for himself. Lord Alexander and Lady Aura seemed uneasy at first but the loving parents agreed that he could. So Ryoji left home the next day as follows.

He left his kingdom and went out to live a normal life as a young man and learn to live like a normal person would. He got him self an education at school. He worked an average job as well. He made few friends, he wasn't very good at being popular with the peers his age. He did community work and helped with a lot of charities. He got him own home and spends a lot of time outdoors. He played a few sports every now and then when he got the chance.

From time to time he'd visit his parents and kingdom esp. around the holidays. Every now and then his parents would try to convince him to return home, he'd decline. Ryoji has admitted to having a rough time out in the real world. Living as an individual and a normal person. But he's also learned a lot and had adjusted to it. He also reassured to his parents that he'll keep his title as a knight.

Finally he returned to his kingdom at the age of 19. This time he reassured his parents he'll be staying. By this time he followed his father around learning what he could to become the next lord of the Prism Kingdom. He helped other citizens of the kingdom with their problems. He seemed really good with problem solving. It was like a hidden talent of his. Lady Aura also show her son, Ryoji how to handle simpler tasks like dealing with children for when he has his own family some day.

A new interest took on Ryoji. He now began to get into astrology. He got himself a telescope and a journal. Ryoji logged down everything he saw and the date and time for it. He even got books and read what he could on the planets, stars, asteroids, comets, and more.

One day was not so happy in the kingdom. Ryoji parents were struck down with illness and were getting weaker by the day. Soon they passed away and a funeral. Once that was all said and done. Ryoji assigned his father's 2 close advisers to run the kingdom while he went on another journey.

On his journey he completely erased his old life and started over new and fresh. He found a family he thought he liked but didn't work out so well. Within the matter of a year and a half. His Earth mother passed away and his Earth father disappeared. Like any normal family, they have ups and downs. Ryoji's Earth family was one of them. Soon he returned to his first Earth home where he started out as. He continued to go to school and do normal people things.

Venus Empire's Past:

The Venus Empire was a gift to Dione from Zeus, the Venus Empire at the time was called the Luce di Sole Kingdom. Luce di Sole is Italian for Light of the Sun. Dione loved it so much that she promised Zeus a child but not just any child. The most beautiful child of them all. Her hair of golden locks and her eyes the color of sapphire. Her skin perfect and fair. Her beauty will hold of no limits and those of mortals and gods alike will adore her. It was many months later that the birth of Aphrodite had come. And as promised from Dione, she had given Zeus a beautiful daughter. When she arrived her beauty radiated for the whole world to see. Aphrodite had golden hair that was long and she wore a white gown with gold lace adoring it. Her eyes were a deep cerulean that sparkled like jewels. Zeus and Dione were happily delighted at the sight of their daughter. Both had agreed to give the Luce di Sole Kingdom to Aphrodite as a gift. However, Zeus had laid down a few rules. One, she is to rule over her new kingdom and never to abandon it. Two, no man nor god shall rule by her side. Three, she is to deliver a heir/ heiress to her thrown. And four, the people of the kingdom shall follow the laws that have been set by him, Zeus. Aphrodite agreed to those terms and happily accepted them. Soon when Aphrodite got older, Zeus and Dione left Aphrodite and the kingdom.

In her spare time, she redecorated her kingdom. She had the people build 3 temples. The first temple was for her father, Zeus. It would be of the largest and take a lot and time of effort. Her next temple was for her mother, Dione. It was a bit more smaller than the first temple, yet required the same amount of time and effort. Finally, the last temple to be built was a temple of her. Her own temple was smaller than her mother's and still required the same amount of time and effort for that one as well. Her father's temple was built in the north area of the kingdom. He mother's temple was to the west of the kingdom. And her own temple was built to the east of the kingdom. The palace was centered of the kingdom and south was where the village would layout. In the back of the palace was a giant garden filled with beautiful flowers, most of them were rare and colorful. Sometimes, Aphrodite would have her royal assistant to gather some of the flowers and have them to be made into perfumes or scented oils.

In side the palace where the main hall was, pictures of Aphrodite were hung. The walls in the inside were painted of a brilliant shade of pink. And the palace on the outside was in pure gold with white trim. The main floor in the palace was to be the ballroom and diner as one. The kitchen was placed next door to the diner/ ballroom. Upstairs in the palace were 5 rooms built for Aphrodite.

Her first room was her own bedroom where she slept. Her bed was queen sized with a canopy for the top. The frame was made of gold along with the canopy itself. The sheets, blankets, pillows, quilts, skirt, and cover was all white with gold trimmings. Upon the pink wall was a single window painted in white. The next room was the nursery, it nearly matches Aphrodite's own room. The room also holds a built in changing room along with area for playing. Moving onto the 3rd room, is Aphrodite's personal changing room which contains all of her best dresses. Also within her changing room is giant mirror with a gold frame. Its nailed to the wall, Aphrodite can fully see herself from head to toe in the mirror. As we continue going on, the next room is Aphrodite's jewelry room. Spread along the walls of the room were giant show cases of valuable jewelry. Gold, silver, and all the precious gems of the world assorted differently were promptly setup. Above each show case hung a mirror with a gold frame. The final room was the most sacred and forbidden of them all, the bathroom. Absolutely no soul was to entire Aphrodite's bathroom. Marble bath tub perched on golden legs stood to one side of the room. And like most rooms, it too had a mirror with a gold frame. There also was a table placed across from the tub. On the table was were the scented oils and perfumes were. Her soaps as well were on the table along with her shampoo. Brushes, combs, hair accessories, and towels also neatly assorted on the table as well.

Time went slow for Aphrodite, she was tired of being alone. She pondered bout true love and fantasized bout men an awful a lot. Days went by her fast and she wasn't getting any where or getting any younger.
