Angela sat at her desk, waiting for her students to arrive, and reading over her curriculum for this course.
It had been hard to decide what to teach, and what not to, but finally, she'd decided on several topics: puberty, STIs, methods of birth control, resisting peer pressure, and sexual orientation. Hopefully all of this would be able to be covered...
She sincerely hoped she'd get a group that was able to act mostly mature, but wasn't counting on it. The more giggling and such there was, the more slowly the class would go, and she knew it. So. She'd try a method that had worked for her own instructor in school, namely that of being as straightforward as possible, and answering every question that came her way, no matter how strange, in that same matter.

Ligeia was a bit embarrassed over going to this class... then again he'd been embarrassed when he and the other teacher had just been going over the mating habits of Snowy Owls so this class was going to be a nightmare he just knew it. Even thinking about the class brought a flush to his cheeks but if nothing else at least he had gotten Ter to take the class separately from him.
There could be nothing in the world worse then learning such things in the same class as his younger brother he thought as he paused to stare at the door. He had signed up for the class after a conversation he'd had not that long ago so he couldn't very well not show up after looking into the class, right? He shook his head, steeling himself before he stepped inside. For this class he'd wanted nothing more then to leave Vorel at home knowing the dragon would ask a lot of questions...
He wasn't so lucky though, the dragon had looked at him with the most pathetic puppy dog eyes when he asked him to stay home that in the end he gave in. He was never happier then now that only he seemed to be able to understand the language of dragons, it would make answering anything Vorel asked of him easier. He looked over at Frost then gave him a smile, "We need to be extra good during this class." The sooner they got in the better, the sooner they started the sooner he could learn what was needed and he could get heading home.
Vorel nodded and the pair stepped inside, Ligeia took a seat, looking around and found no other students at the moment. Phew... that would make this easier he thought to himself as Vorel flopped down next to him, resting his head on the ground and looked around the classroom. The Frost looked instantly bored, the classes his owl went to where always boring for him since he couldn't really learn anything from them, "We should have more classes with Mr Coleman." He told his boy.
"I will see about getting us into another of them sometime." He said simply, to appease his dragon, and gave him a pat on the head.

Angela looked up as the first student arrived, and smiled at him and his dragon. This was the first encounter she'd had with one of the children's dragons, and the teacher was quite interested. But, there would be no time for that, not if all the topics were to be covered. It was a shame, really.
"Hello, dear, welcome to the class. My name is Angela, or Mrs. Angela, if you prefer. We'll wait a few more minutes for the other three to arrive, and then we'll begin," she said.

It was needless to say that Chath was dragging his feet to this class. After his last conversation with his boyfriend he felt perhaps he needed a bit of educating on the subject since he really had thought they had been talking about something else. His hand trailed down to where his spray bottle was firmly attatched to his belt. He...was not taking any chances this class, he couldn't risk overheating and passing out and would explain...as well as he could to Ms. Angela that it was required he stay hydrated.
He hoped she would understand since he had one previous class with her, but hadn't needed to use it then...being what the subject was this class...he could already feel the heat rise in his face. He kept convincing himself this was something he needed to take, he was always a bit naive about some things but he wanted to make sure he wasn't naive about thi.
He was lucky his own dragon stayed at home. Keir was more and more disinterested in joining him in classes that didn't involve fighting. So it was easy enough to get the dragon to stay put.
Finally reaching the classroom he took a deep breath and pushed the door open.
"Sorry I hope I am not..la..te.." he announced himself as he entered the room though his eyes instantly darted to the familar body sitting down already. LIGEIA? He felt his face got beat red. No. This couldn't be happening. They were both taking the same class? About.....sex?
His hand immediately went down to his spray bottle he did a 360 and backed out of the room to spray himself down and hopefully slow his racing heart. Well ...this was awkward. After a couple moments he re-entered the classroom looking a bit sheepish.
"Ah sorry....thought I better spray myself down in the hallway..I didn't want to get the desks wet." He murmured with a half smile before he basically dragged himself over to sit beside his boyfriend.
He felt that awkward silence threaten to loom but there wasn't any students there yet....he gave a small wave to Geia offering him an embaressed smile. His cheeks were still flushed, but beads of water dripped down his face.
"Uh...funny running into you here.." he started the conversation awkwardly

Ligeia gave the teacher a smile, "Its nice to meet you, my name is Ligeia Solon." He said, introducing himself though he was sure she probably already had his name somewhere since she was a teacher. He gave a little flutter of his wings, so there were going to be other students then? That would make the class a little harder given the subject at hand.
He turned when the door opened and he heard an all to familiar voice. The owl's dark eyes went quite wide and his cheeks rather red as he watched the newt as he came into the class and then promptly left again. He dropped his gaze to his desk and tried to rein in his embarrassment over the situation.
He only lifted it again when Chath was sitting next to him, talking to him and he turned to give him a smile, "Ahhh... yeah, I saw the class was available so I signed up... erm... thought it might be a good idea." He said before giving a little giggle as he asked in a playful manner, "Do you have enough water in your spray bottle?"

Lucía goes to class she isn't very convinced for the rason her mother forces her to go, not her had explained her already it, the necessary thing, why she has to hear it again iin front of they all when it is so embarrassing. At last she had leave Tiamat in home.
She had arrived to class and she enters " Hello..." she look around her "Oh Teacher Angela you tauch it" she blush a little and then notice that her is the only girl in class and her new frien Chath is here too " Hey Chath you are her to get embarased too" she giggle and wave Ligeia.

The lovebird was....late. Heh, of course, it seemed to be a new fad with Paxton these days. But wasn't it fashionable to be late? At least that was his current excuse for being the last boy to enter, he didn't have a good one, otherwise.
About this class, he couldn't tell if he was nervous or annoyed. There was all ready something which told Paxton he was years ahead of his classmates about the subject, years ahead and maybe even a little cynical about it. So maybe he was a bit more nervous about this class, cause wouldn't it look bad to all ready knew these things? No dragon, just himself, he strolled in and took a seat. One girl, two boys, only one of them looked vaguely familiar. Wasn't the owl the son of one of the teachers here? Well, as that may be it didn't matter. He took a seat at the end, next to Lucia. "Yo." He waved a hand at the teacher and then went about getting his notebook out of his book bag.

Angela smiled at Ligeia, about to answer, when Chath entered. The blushes on their faces left no doubt that they knew each other, though she, of course, had no idea how.
She addressed Chath. "Hello, dear, good to have you in another class. Don't worry about the desks. This is a lab, after all. The counters are waterproof," she said.
Lucia entered next, and looked quite annoyed to be there. But soon, she was talking with the first two, and it appeared that they were all familiar with one another. Perhaps that would make the class easier? Or just the opposite.
"Welcome, Lucia. Choose a seat, if you please?" she asked, and gestured near to where Ligeia and Chath were sitting.
Angela had just stood up to start the class when Paxton entered. She glanced up at the clock and raised an eyebrow.
"Hello, Paxton. How nice of you join us," she said, and left it at that while she came around in front of all four of them.
"As some of you know, my name is Angela Medina-Rivera. The class today is Sex ed, though I'm sure you all already knew that," she informed with a wry smile.
"The topics I intend to cover today, if time allows, are puberty, STIs, birth control methods, resisting peer pressure, and sexual orientation. Since we're all here, let's begin!" she said, and looked around to see if all four of them and one dragon were paying attention or had any initial questions.

Ligeia did his best not to groan when the other students all came in and none of them had a dragon with them... he was seriously hoping someone would bring their dragon so that Vorel would be distracted. This meant that he would have to explain everything to Vorel since his questions could only be asked of Ligeia... on top of that it was the same as explaining to a child.
He reached a gloved hand over to pat Vorel's head when the dragon turned toward him with what would probably be the first in a long line of questions, "Save your questions until after class, okay? I will answer best I can." He whispered to him in Draconic, not wanting to disrupt the class to explain things to Vorel.
The Frost blinked then nodded, crossing his forefeet out in front of him and rested his head on them. He did his best to pay attention since Ligeia was doing so but it didn't take long for his attention to start to wander.
The owl gave a sigh of relief when the Frost Dragon's mind seemed to wander and hoped that it would make explaining later easier, maybe he wouldn't have an embarrassing questions. He turned his attention back to the teacher who seemed to be waiting on any questions but for the moment none came to mind.

Chath only replied to Ligeia's quetion with a nod of his head, he really hoped he had enough water to last him through class. . . he appreciated that Angela was going to be nice enough to allow him to spray himself down in the class room if he needed to.
It made sense why his dragon wasn't here, Keir was foul tempered and held very little interest in his classes if they did not involve fighting. He was however surprised only Geia had brought his dragon. Ah well he guessed that this subject was embaressing enough alone never mind having a companion who most likely would ask numerous questions.
He offered the owl a reassuring smile before looking to notice Lucia and gave her a small wave. He had never met the love bird before, he got the impression that Paxton wasn't looking forward to this class.
Returning his attention to the teacher he tried not to fidget on the spot. Though he felt his face turn a bit red at the mention of sexual orientation as well birth control.

Lucía sits down in one of the desks that Angela points out her. She takes out a notebook and pencil to note something, but she doubts that she will use it. She listens Angela sincerely on that she taught them, some things she doesn't know neither what they are but birth controls or sexual orientation, She know that she like thanks. No need for all they know it too.
"Emm Teacher you will tell us the bird and bee talk" she said annoyed.

Paxton rolled his eyes a bit (secretly of course, he didn't want another scolding) at Angela's comment. She really knew how to make an all ready un-welcomed kid feel welcomed. Hadn't he been friendly enough with a his little greeting? Hi flipped his pencil about in his hand and bit at the end of the eraser, trying to figure out how he should take everything they were about to go over. He was fine with with most of it, it would probably be all standard stuff...the only thing that made him a bit uncomfortable was sexual orientation. That was a weird one to discuss, it seemed more like something you talked about in the home or in private? Alas~
He let out a sigh and had to give a bit of a smile when Lucia spoke up. Well at least that made four of them whom weren't happy to be here, I mean, come on, the look on the other twos faces wasn't exactly tickled pink.
Just to be amusing, or rather a bit of an a**, making teachers life difficult, since nobody seemed to be happy to be here. "Do we get goodies at the end of class?" He piped up and wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, something that was hard to do if you hadn't practiced in the mirror before. Don't worry, though, Paxton had practiced...lots.

Angela looked at Lucia, and said, "If you mean, will I be talking about pregnancy, yes, that will be included in the first section. I will open each section with a discussion of what you already know, and based on that, I will fill in the blanks or make corrections. I don't want to bore you with what you already know, after all."
She smiled, and waited for a moment, until Paxton asked his question. Oh, dear. She had suspected she would get at least one student like this, but she had hoped she'd be lucky.
Angela gave Paxton a wry smile, and answered, "Well, if by "goodies" you mean condoms, then I'm afraid not. However, I do have the locations of several Planned Parenthood sites that you can go to. They do give out free contraceptives. I'm sorry to disappoint."
After she finished speaking, she turned to take in all the students, and then sat down on one of the tall chairs on the opposite side from the tables they were in.
"Well, then, if no one else has introductory questions, our first subject is puberty and the possibility of pregnancy that can come along with it, for girls. Who here has had the "birds and the bees" talk before, as Lucia put it?" she asked with a smile, and raised her hand slightly.

Shifting on the spot again he was a bit too shy to ask anything. He hadn't really any real knowledge about the subject, since well....he had no broached it with his mother...and he would die of embaressment if he tried asking his sister.
"Uh...I don't know a lot about it.." he murmured honestly, ah his face was going red, maybe it would of been best if heh ad said nothing. "Uh I mean..I know...the basics..." He continued feeling his face go even redder. He meant of course that he knew where babies came from...and perhaps not in great detial how babies were made but he ...knew what happened between a man and a woman....
He looked over to Ligeia breifly his face going even more red. The mention of condoms made him even more uncomfertable.

The 'birds and the bees talk' the owl thought with a bit of a smile, that seemed even more appropriate to D-Corp didn't it? Given there were birds and bees running around, as for getting that particular talk he'd missed out on it... his father tried his hardest but he was rather distracted and seemed to miss some things here and there.
Ligeia glanced Chath's way as he explained about knowing the basics and wondered exactly what 'the basics' he knew were... not that he was about to ask, "I know what all one can find in books." He answered, though didn't say what books. It hadn't been a subject that he'd had a lot of interest in until more recently. His ear tufts gave a little flutter as he looked down at his desk rather then at anyone in particular.
