After a bit of thought (and even more procrastination sweatdrop ) I've made this thread for people to use in plot advancement

Basically this thread can be used for any location in the RP that will not be used more than one or a few select times but still merits its own thread to RP in. This way we won't have a bunch of threads cluttering the forum page when they're just going to have a few pages.

So, if your plot involves your character going to a location that does not already have a thread but you need somewhere to RP the actions, this is the place. If you plan to make a huge fortress or a location which will most likely play a prominent role in future RPs, then it might be best to just make a thread

The only rule is that I request you name the location where your character is. Since this is a "universal location" thread, you'll need to designate where your character is at the start of the post.

Just give the name of your location at the top of your post. Once that's distinguished, just skip a space and begin your post. You only have to do this whenever your character first enters the area. Thusly, if you name a location in one of your posts, it will be assumed that all posts made by your character after that will be in the same location unless you designate a new location at the top of your post. The same will go for anyone joining you in your adventure domokun

sample:

Quote:
The temple of death (make sure to mark the name of the location somehow. You can use *,:,~, bold, italics, or whatever else you can think of, as long as the location designator stands out)

*He enters the large, black brick made temple, pushing open the iron and wooden doors which kept it sealed. The lights within were dim but adequate. Slowly, he made his way to the stairwell and descended towards the shrine of the ancient deity* (try to give whatever details about the environment you think necessary. This will be especially useful if someone else is joining you in the location and needs to know what's going on. Also, just a clarifier, you don't need to designate a new location in the next post as long as you're in the same general area. For instance, I wouldn't need to specifically designate "temple of death: basement floor" in the next post if I didn't want to)

Morrigan would wait inside Kobei, relaxing as the body would make it's way to grow. Some sort of a rock crystal garden.

The power would slowly shut down as the shell itself would take time to grow skin. The tank would drain, and lights would shine down upon the almost completed body. The skin would now finish covering the shell, and then stiffen to create a stretchy covering. It was complete... Now all that was needed was hair, and the usual things to make Morrigan look like herself. Of course, she would have to enter the shell before making the changes to the details.

"Now Kobei, same as before. You try anything, and it's not going to be preety."

Morrigan would make Kobei walk up to the tank, and open the top hatch once again, removing the completely nude shell. She would lay it out on a lengthy table, and hover over it, examining all details.

"Dear god, a born again Virgin. This will take a while..." She sighed heavily, and then laughed to herself. Oh how much fun it was to have her own thoughts. Being a nuiscance in one's mind was heaven once you got them to give up, and get you out.

Morrigan would bend down to open the lids of the blank, and peer into them using Kobei's screen. Pure white.

"Let's make those ivory pearls some emeralds." It was like making a doll, so simple.

Morrigan would lean in longer to lock her lips witht he shell. It tasted like a wet fish. The first breath taken in by the shell would take in Morrigan, and thus bring the shell to life. However, this would also bring Kobei back to conciousness, and to the pain that was suffered earlier from the missing chunk of flesh.

Kobei screamed loudly, and grabbed at her leg, collapsing to the floor, as the newly made Morrigan stirred on the table.

"My dear, screaming will only cause attention. And you are too pitiful of a creature to even be mentioned."

Morrigan slid, quite wetly off of the table. She was bald, and looked much like a naked baby. Only, quite more endowed, and taller.

Kobei would make her way to stand, and follow Morrigan's movements with her screen. She spat at her, and grimaced. "I will rid of your existance."

Morrigan turned, wearily, and raised a brow. "Not before I rid of yours." she said, casually. She reached over to the main power breaker, and switched it off. Everything was dark, except the tank that glowed dimly after it's use.

A great shuffling was heard, some smacks of wet flesh, and movement of rusty hinges. Morrigan made her way to the entrance of the Crypt, carrying what seemed to be leathery clothing in one hand, as well as a metal plate in the other.

In the far back of the lab which could be seen as She left, Kobei was left floating in a holding tank, miles of tubing weaved throughout every original, and man-made oriface. She was stripped completely nude, as well as the plate from her face torn away. She was still living, but barely. The tank would provide homage to Kobei for the time up till she was found.

Morrigan only left the crypt, slick with the fluid from the tank, as well as new green hair to grow from her scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, and other areas of the Female body. As she left the Crypt, she would costume herself as Kobei, making her way slowly back to the motorbike that was at the Abandoned building, she would donne the Helmet, and ride back.

However, it would take a literal genious to discover a large patch of leather was missing from one of the thighs to the outfit.

// Beyond the far reaches of time and space, beyond the realm of sanity itself. In a place forcibly created by a mind alone, where a child plays god and little toys fall and move with no will of their own. The realm of KB as it were, his throne and his home. Unreached by any aside from himself, and yet forever distant from his goal. //

Sighing softly to himself, KB looked over everything. Truly, everything, for it was all his. So many of himself, in so many places doing so many things. Legions of him, mere thoughts marching out across multiple versions of the universe. He matched many a god, and overcame countless others. He was nowhere near The Master, and yet he felt he could overcome his creator with ease. In any case, KB had turned his attention to a single thing in his realm. Something that caught his attention within the confines of his mind.

Freedom.

The Master would never allow it, and yet it was right there. It had formed, so familiar. Achingly so, that he couldn't help but look at it and feel a distinct twinge of pain. The multi-faceted pink gem sat in defiance, as if taunting him. Perfectly shaped, and yet so rugged any man would toss it away. A paradox, in it's flawed perfection. The crystalization of everything, KB's heart in a solid form.

Perhaps, this is how he felt. Perhaps he wasn't so bad, perhaps he'd simply sent it off to rid himself of the pain. Perhaps he was his own Master, having formed himself before he was formed. A man and a child, both born and never born, a simple paradox of sorts. The thought startled KB, but he brushed it away. There was no way he could be himself, no, he'd simply followed in the footsteps of the ever-familiar taint.

Taking the gem into his hand, the dragon felt it pulse in his grip. The death of a dragon would claim this realm as well as a few others, but the rest of everything would remain undisturbed. Closing his eyes, KB began to take it all back. Every bit of him being dragged back to the source, to be forced into the heart he held.

It took forever. His vow was broken, and tears burst from his eyes to scald his flesh. His scales felt as though they were alight with holy flame, and they began to melt away from the leathery skin beneath. The writhing mass of tentacles within him screeched and died, as they were consumed by the flame of surging raw power. Like fell snakes they dropped lifeless, filling his gut with nothing but long rotting tubes of ever-hungry decay. He felt every thought, every string of power come to him. He felt it surge into the gem within his grip, and he saw every memory and moment of his ancient existance.

Muttering a draconic apology to Zoe, he forced her memory into the gem as well. Every last bit of it, until he was nothing more than a shell. Until his flesh was claimed by the thing, until the world about him was being consumed, dragged inwards. As if existance had once more caved in upon itself into a single spot of limitless power, all of KB and all that he'd ever been or done came together. He felt the ties of his curse being pulled away, and saw the distinct entities of his creation. The Master, who had warped him from birth, and the child who he'd always been. And yet, they weren't him, for they were two seperate people. KB had always simply been the bi-product of a posessed child, and now he was free.

In a fleeting moment that lasted forever, KB ended. Winked out, the gem was hurled beyond all plausible forms of existance. A void replaced what had been, as the child was sent free and home. The Master was pushed away, sent screaming back to himself. Seperated, the two retreated. There, swirling amongst the endless nothing was nothing itself, having ended itself to free itself.

Nothing, had ended nothing, to free nothing.

It was all so meaningless, and yet it meant everything. K was free, The Master was gone, and KB was no more. However... KB was little more than nothingness itself, not much more than a thought, a broken splinter of sanity. Spared the eternal life of nothingness, he fell. KB was something, he had things. There were things that were neither K's or The Master's. KB had things of his own. Nothingness was something, and even the imaginary could claim to love.

Falling.

Falling, wait a second, that's not good.

// Held at Morrigan's Crypt, A few miles from the old Lounge territory, and around 100 miles off from the BC grounds. //

Plummeting towards the ground, flames were ablaze upon the form of a falling man. Of course, the falling lasted only a few moments, before the man had slammed into the unforgiving earth with a solid thud. Hunks of dirt and rock flowed back in a wave from the point of impact, as a small crater was formed.

Minutes later, the man stepped up from the crater, wavering as he stumbled forward. A line of crimson formed down the side of his face as blood trickled from the head wound. Reaching up, he groaned and adjusted his glasses. His head was spinning, his vision was blurred, and he had no idea what was going on. He simply felt something tugging him towards a nearby hole in the earth, and he answered the calling by moving dumbly towards it.

Reaching the opening, his nostrils were viciously attacked by a foul smell. The man turned to the side, dry heaves ringing out as he coughed up only the contents of an empty stomach. Braving the smell of decay, he stepped forwards and descended into the darkness, his hands groping out blindly ahead of him. Somewhere down there, was a faint light, and he approached it slowly. His steps echoed, his foothold threatening to slip out from a mixture of weakness and slickness of floor.

There was a woman down here somewhere, and he had to find her.

His surroundings would be lack of light, and a dank room to accompany. The cold walls would freeze his hands, as the floor would be none better.

The smells of rotten flesh, and vomit to add to his own previous what he had outside. The dim light would grow brighter as he stepped deeper into the Crypt.

Sounds of air escaping tanks, and the light buzzing of energy would fill his ears. Not to mention the occasion slip of his feet due to some type of fluid that was spilled upon the stone floor.

It was like walking through a cave, a cave which was not meant to be entered.

Something would catch his eye as one of the wall mounted-lights would flicker on and off. The gory scene of blood splattered against the flooring, trails of footprints coming out of small pools of the crimson liquid. A scrap of red leather, and a blade of some sorts were scattered upon the floor, as well as a hand drill, and a sloppy mess of goo.

Other things would catch his attention. Kobei was still in the holding tank, however, the light that illuminated the tank, now had shut off.

Kobei couldn't be seen, but more or less looked like another body to occupy the numerous rows of tanks that filled Morrigan's Lab. Only patience would find her hope.

PostPosted: Tue Feb 28, 2006 11:32 pm
Feeling his stomach tighten up into a knot, he barely managed to hold his wits together as he entered the lab. The dull pain of cold in his hands was ignored, for his mind was grasping every bit of things around him. His blue eyes could barely adjust to the darkness, and so they clung to the meager light offered, and the images it forced to be realised. The place was damned scary, like some butchering yard from a horror movie, and yet somehow oddly familiar. As if in the past he'd seen worse, or spent his time in such a place.

Shrugging, his boots left new footprints in the blood as it grew thicker. As if walking in the stickyness of spilled pudding. Spotting the drill, the goo, an another assortment of grisly tools he simply shook his head. A few tanks, a few bodies, lots of blood and flesh. Unsure of what to do, he simply started throwing switches and pressing buttons.

If the place had power, turning something on might help. That, or he might get himself a nasty little shock or two. In any case, he wasn't about to run away from the cave. In fact, in an odd way it was almost homey.

The crypt only needed a little fixing up, new bulbs, and wiring. That, and a heavy-duty bleaching.

The room was riddled with switches. A few he would turn on, and some glowed brightly. It took him about three turns to get to one that would shine dimly into the tank that held her.

Unfortunately, the light burned out before it could show any detail to it's contents.

There was however, a flashlight upon one of the tables nearby. It would suffice to say, help him in his search.

Kobei was still afloat, her tubing keeping her mainly alive. Her face would seem mostly horrific, as the plate was absent. The thick fluid that she swam in was trying it's best to heal over what was damaged when Morrigan ripped out the Facial plate. The fluid inside the tank decided to grow back lids, and a full set of eyes, however, the fragile nerves and viens that connected her to her sight were severed.

PostPosted: Tue Feb 28, 2006 11:56 pm
Ducking back from a slight spark, he muttered something. So many damned things to fiddle with, and none seemed to have had any real huge effects. Shrugging, he glanced about once more. The table had much to offer, and inspecting it revealed to him a few useful tools. The first, was a large and heavy flashlight which he took into his hands, his fingers fumbling for the button. Turning it on, the beam of pale light impaled the darkness, revealing a pale sphere of grisly lab everywhere he pointed it.

The light flickered a bit, but a smack to the flashlight brough it back to full strength. Holding it up, he browsed the rest of the table. Into his free hand he took up an axe, the sort a fireman might use. A smile was on his face as he turned to the first tube, the light upon it revealing not much but thick fluid and a faint outline within. Holding the flashlight trained on the tube, he made a heafty one-handed swing with the axe. The axe slammed into the glass, glancing it and smacking into the floor as the force was deflected. Grumbling, he laid the flashlight on the table, angling it towards the tube.

The axe now held in both hands, he flipped it over in his hands to his the glass with the spike. He swung full-forced near the bottom of the tube, smashing in the glass with a sold hit that would not be denied. It was then that he turned it over once more, to slam the axehead into the newfound hole. As if consumed by his need to find what lay inside, he began to tear apart the glass, moving upwards, even as the fluid gushed out around his feet and soaked his boots and pants.

Sickly green fluid would pour out onto the floor, soaking him from knees down. The smell wouldn't get worse, as it was the same from when he first entered the Crypt. The figure of a woman would start falling downward, bending somewhat in half, and then crashing down tword the floor. This one being shriveled, and rotten through.

As the container emptied, it only left others in which to inspect. One down, an army to go.

PostPosted: Wed Mar 01, 2006 12:17 am
Reaching down, his bare hand poked the shrivelled corpse. This couldn't be her, there was no way it could be. Sighing, he glanced about. There were many tanks that she could be in, and it seemed as though the lab was long-abandoned. Not that an updated filing system would have Kobei on it anyhow, chances were she wasn't meant to be found. Whatever had happened, did recently, and the person who'd done so had already left.

Shrugging, he moved to the next tube. His muscles ached and were sore, and every movement brought a spike of pain. It didn't matter though, he wouldn't give up. He'd smash open every tube if he had to. Glancing up, he saw that the tube he was now at had been recently disturbed. His eyes narrowed from behind his glasses, as he smashed open this tube in a similar fashino as the other. Though, with the flashlight having not been moved, there was less light to reveal what may come out.

It seemed this tube's contents would smell alot more... fresh? It wasn't as pungent as the other. It may be that the fluid was changed earlier.

The occupant inside started to slip out, but was secured by thin tubing. It could still not be seen well. The sounds of air pumps came from inside the tank. It seemed the occupant was alive, or more or less, needing oxygen.

PostPosted: Wed Mar 01, 2006 12:29 am
Normally fresh would be hard to smell on it's own, but in this place it hit you like a brick made of pure joy. As if rejuvenated by the mere thought of life, KB let the axe drop to the floor, clattering as it made a gentle 'splick' sound. Most likely due to the fluid it had dropped into.

In any case, KB had quickly noticed the body did not fall free. Looking to the table, he caught sight of a knife. He quickly took hold of it, and moved back to the tube. Stepping up into it a bit, he smashed away a bit of remaining glass, cutting his hand slightly as he cleared the way.

Using one arm to meakly wrap around the body, his free hand went to work on the dark snakes above that seemed to weave into the shell's flesh. Slashing high above her, the knife went about clearing away tubing, severing the dark snakes from within the shadow. There was no doubt in his mind that the tubes might leak contents onto him, but his single-minded focus kept him going.

Certainly was a fresh if not tubified woman. At least, it sure felt like it.
