O U R A D V E N T U R E Zephyr sighed and bought plenty of tickets at the ticket stand. Around them was laughter, rustling and the loud music of the fair rides. He wondered briefly how he got convinced to join into the fair by his son. It was not like him to go to loud bustling places with obnoxious music blaring all over the place.
Slythor on the other hand was as happy as could be. There was everything a kid could want, and it was only open for a few days. He was not going to miss hic chance to have some fun.

There Samantha stood, in the arms of Erikk. She wondered what would go on at this place. She hadn't ever been anywhere before. She had hardly gone out at all since she was brought home. She was getting the hang of talking, saying little words here and there. She loved to do it, and the reaction that came from both Erikk and Anna were funny.
She struggled to get away when she saw food and rides and different things. Erikk was having a hard time just keeping her under control long enough to buy some tickets. "Here Anna, take her please. I'll buy some tickets." he said, giving her to Annalissa.
Anna took her and as Erikk felt the relief, Anna had just begun to start. "Oh, Sam, hold still. You're daddy will be right back." she said just trying to keep Sam from falling out of her arms. Sam was not a happy camper. She began to fuss. "Mine!!! Mine!!! Mine!!!" she said as she grabbed at everything she could.
Erikk had gone to the ticket counter and tried to buy some tickets. The people in front of him kind of made him think. The little boy seemed different than others. And he seemed to look kind of like Samantha. Well, not really, but he was different, like Sam was. He decided to speak up. "Hello there. I have a question. You seem to have the same type of child I do. My name is Erikk Wilson. My little girl is right over there. I haven't seen but one other child who was different. Who might you be?" he said, smiling, happy to know there were others.

O U R A D V E N T U R E Zephyr turned around as he noticed he was being talked to. In one hand was his tickets. "Hello Erikk." He murmured. At the thought of the 'different' child, he looked over to see the girl. He looked back at Errik. "I'm Zephyr Blood. My son Slythor is indeed a... different child, like yours. How lovely we meet."
Slythor turned around and the first thing he saw was the strange girl. He immediately dashed up to check it out,

"Well, it is nice to see some more friendly faces. Haven't found to many after all." Erikk said as he walked closer to this new friend of his. "So, what brings you to the carnival? Does Slythor love it here? Is it your first time? Oh, my daughter is Samantha by the way. And my woman friend is Annalissa, or Anna for short." he said as the boy began to run off towards her. He chuckled at that. Then he watched. As he heard Anna's shriek of fright, he rolled his eyes, turned back to Zephyr, and smiled, waiting for a reply.
Annalissa's first impression was that of this child running at her. "Ack!" was the first words out of her mouth as the child approached. Samantha noticed the child run up and she used one of the few words she knew. "Pweety!" she stated as she grabbed at Slythor's red wing. She found him very amusing already, and they had just seen each other. Of course, Anna was still trying to keep her under control as she giggled and tried to get away to play with one of the first faces she had met. She grabbed at his wing and giggled and said 'pweety' a few more times. Anna just looked frustrated and out of her mind.

O U R A D V E N T U R E Zephyr looked a little surprise at the barrage of questions. Then again, when he had met Jaykou back when Slythor was a small guy he had plenty of questions to ask as well. "I had extra time to have some family moments with my son, and he found out the carnival that was to be here." He nodded to Samantha and Annalissia.
Slythor basked in the compliments. "Yes, very pretty. So is my bird." He let out a whistle, and a blue bird flew down to greet the two. It landed on his shoulder, tweeting slightly.

Erikk smiled and nodded. He liked having someone to talk to about these kinds of things. He now knew that Zephyr would be the one to talk to when things got a bit rough for him with Samantha. He looked back at the three who were together. Samantha and Slythor seemed to hit it off pretty well for meeting for the first time.
Samantha gaped at the bird as it flew in and landed on Slythor's shoulder. "Vewy pweety birdy." she said with a smile. Annalissa was a little surprised at the birds extreme order following. She smiled as the bird softly landed on his shoulder. "Wow..." was all she could say.

O U R A D V E N T U R E Zephyr smiled gently. He looked at Slythor and Samantha gently. "The two seem to be hitting it off quite well." He commented, feeling quite relaxed. Sometimes Slythor didn't hit off with kids quite so well, and turned to his violent streak to dominate. It made for very troubling times. He wondered how his son would grow up when he becomes older. He was worried about that violent steak... it was uncontrollable once it happened.
Slythor puffed out his chest proudly as the strange new girl and her mother figure compliment him. The bird flew onto Samantha's head in a dominance gesture. The child laughed at the action, making him feel even prouder that his bird knew what was going on.

Samantha smiled as the bird flew to her head. She giggled as he sat upon it. Annalissa smiled as well, for it did look rather funny to her. She smiled and looked at Erikk, who was also smiling and chuckling at the fact that the bird had flew onto Sam's head.
Sam grabbed at the bird, trying to hold it. She also stated the word 'mine' over and over again. There came her greedy side. She began to laugh and call the word repetitively. She smiled as she would sometimes grab a feather here and there, but nothing enough to pull anything out. She just wanted to hold the bird.

O U R A D V E N T U R E Zephyr watched, content with the fact the two seemed to be getting along. However he still remained tense, ready for any time Slythor would choose to be offended. Despite being the patient one the boy had a wild streak he was worried about.
The bird flapped its wings gently and allowed to be held by the strange girl. It seemed quite calm. Unlike other birds, it seemed to know exactly what was going on without a doubt. It chirped cutely.
Slythor laughed. "It likes you!"

As Erikk watched Anna, Sam, and Slythor, along with his bird, he grew a sense of accomplishment. The reason being because he had brought her up, and she was finally getting out and meeting others. He felt that he had done a good job. Slythor seemed like a nice boy to Erikk, no reason to dislike him yet. And his bird was pretty cool, both Erikk and Samantha thought that.
Annalissa was tired of holding the girl, so she slowly placed her down onto the ground. Samantha stood quietly and proud. She was happy to have a playmate. "Like me? Birdy like me? Mine!" she said grabbing onto the wings and giggling. Annalissa gasped a bit and said, "Oh my! I'm sorry, Sam, let go please. Let go of the birdy." she said. Samantha finally let go of the birds wings and began to pout. Annalissa stood up tall and rolled her eyes. This would be fun.

O U R A D V E N T U R E Zephyr nodded, also feeling the growing sense of pride he felt throughout his son's growing up. Meetig one new person was yet another milestone in his child's life. He felt somehow old.
Slythor laughed as the bird chirped and pecked at Samantha's hands as it was touche oddly. It the flew back to Slythor, landing on one horn. The male laughed. "You have to be very gentle with birds or they break and you can never play with them again. " He warned.

Samantha rubbed her hands together as she felt tears begin to form in her eyes. "Birdy hurt me! Bad birdy!" she said with a tone of disgust. She then crossed her arms and then rubbed her eyes. She couldn't believe that the bird actually hurt her. None of her other toys had hurt her. But she was weary of his advice not to play with them like that.
Annlissa decided she would join the other grown-ups. She came over and held out her hand to have Zephyr shake it. "Hello, I'm Annlissa. I'm the rascals mother." she said smiling, putting on her 'nice act' for the new acquaintance.
Erikk in the meantime became rather disgusted, and went behind Annalissa to tell her a secret in her ear. "You are not the mother! Sam is MY child. We are NOT married!" he said, rather upset. And her response was this, "Oh, hush!" and she turned back around to Zephyr.

O U R A D V E N T U R E Zephyr nodded and shook her hand. "I'm Zephyr. You've met my son, Slythor." He watched with curiosity as the two other adults talked and joked.
The bird flew and landed in Samantha's arms again, chirping cutely despite the sinister look in its eyes.It seemed to understand the situation perfectly despite its being of a bird.Slythor grinned.

Samantha smiled and giggled as the bird flew into her arms. She was a happy camper after that. Still playing with the bird, she softly pet the feathers and cooed a bit as she saw the magnificence of the bird. She wished that one day, she too could have a pet with her always. Maybe even sooner than expected!
Annalissa just smiled, "Well, it is very nice to meet you Zephyr. And your son seems to be getting along very well with dear little Samantha." she said. Erikk just stood in the background and smiled, trying to look as important as he could. Even though he didn't even seem nearly as important as his so called 'wife'. He tried even still.

O U R A D V E N T U R E Zephyr nodded contently. It felt nice to be talking with adults again. Slythor had lately taken up almost all of his time... it was somewhat depressing. He really needed to make more friends himself, or risk being a parent with no help when he had to go somewhere without the kid.
He turned to the ticket holder to get some tickets of his own. It was expensive.. but he hoped the rides were well worth it.
The bird seemed to bask in the attention, ruffling its feathers and letting out a soft chirp in enjoyment. It flapped its wings softly, rustling the girl's hair.
Slythor grinned proudly at his well behaved bird. He remembered before when they had to cage it up all the time. Over time though it learned where it was appropriate to do what, and now it was 'potty trained' and obedient.
