Haramu was very glad Jibril had taught her to be self-sufficient. If she hadn't...well, Haramu wasn't sure what sort of position she would be in. But the pride had needed hunters, and so a hunter Haramu was for now. She didn't mind much...the pride needed food, especially with all the young running around. The adults of the pride needed as much help as they could get.

The firefly-light and fire lioness had stalked her prey a little further than usual...but the male gnu was big, with a broken back leg. He was a perfect target. And Haramu knew full well how to keep from getting hurt herself while killing him. Knew how to drag him back too. After a few hours of stalking him...Haramu made her move and the gnu breathed no more.

And thus began the long drag back to the living space of the pride.

Stalking, stalking was something he did well, a shadow in the darkness, black against the blackness, he knew how to be invisible, it was a part of who he was. Of course, he also liked to be visible and upon spotting the burdened figure of a lioness in the distance his dark form slipped through the shadows of darkness to walk beside her. "Isn't that rather large for one lioness?" It was a sensible question, at least in his mind, he would never think a pride could, or would be out here after all this was the middle of no where.

odd eyes looked at the lioness, one eye, black at a marble of onyx, blank and staring, while the other white, with only a pinprick of a pupil roved over her form with quiet contemplation.

A pink tongue licked out over those jet black lips, he wasn't hungry, in fact he bearly ever ate but he enjoyed slinking along while others were hunting, he enjoyed watching them, observation for him was everything.

Haramu found herself on edge. She dropped the gnu, her red ears back and muscles tight beneath her fur. She did NOT like being snuck up on...she would need to work on improving her sense of the world around her.

"I've handled bigger. This is my job. The pride must be fed." She would not mince words...no point. Besides, the truth was a far more effective weapon than lies. Jibril had taught her that. "What are you doing so close to demons' lands."

This lion -black as the shadows around her and visible only for a certain furriness and his strange, strange eyes- put her on edge...and made her curious. What was such a strange one doing here? Perhaps he was a demon? Or perhaps he was another fool.

The sleek male let an eerie smile creep on to his lips, those odd eyes flashing almost dangerously as she replied to his questionings, she was blunt, to the point. There was a pride here though?

Tilting his head to the sky his nose wrinkled as he breathed in the scent of other lions, a slight shrug moved the wilder beast which raped his shoulders before he turned that odd eyed gaze back on the female before him. Only one eye at any one time seemed to watch the female, either the white, it's tiny pupil inspecting, or the black, a never moving void.

"I go where I like my little friend. I cannot be stopped." He smirked, the almost innocent, crazy smile fading in to something far ore dangerous and encompassing a flash of white, bloodstained fangs.

"My name is Tiyatahmey, you make sure to pronounce it correctly now I wont have it shortened or mispronounced, It irks me greatly to see my name used in vein." A single rather squeaky laugh rolled from his lips then and that strange, crazy smile returned to his maw sending the more frightening smirk running back to the darkness.

Haramu was even more curious now...and even more on edge. This male was dangerous, but he'd not yet made a move to hurt her. Even if he did...She was a warrior, first and foremost.

"Well...I would advise you still, Tiyatahmey, to be careful if you choose to cross the borders nearby. Unless you are a demon, your reception will most likely consist of a sound beating. I've heard stories of one of the Guards. And from the glimpses I caught of her, she lives up to those stories...big, vicious, and strong." She did not want to go up against the strange 'Hakuna'jina' in a fight...not ever. The lioness she'd seen had easily been as large as Verge'lian, and seemed to have none of his tact, if stories told true.

"I am Haramu-chanua. And I do not take names in vain...they are a part of a lion's very being. To take it in vain is an insult to the other."

Tiyatahmey let that odd laugh escape his being once again and the dark, pupil-less eyes flashed. Threats, threats of a border. He had never been afraid of walking in to any pride, Many never even saw him as he passed through, his dark coat providing him invisibility, he had been taught how to vanish without a though and without a sound.

He took a step backwards and walked around the red streaked female, he was inspecting, checking her out, though it was far from in any sort of sexual manner, he was simply checking her over looking for who she was his pale eye always roving that tiny pupil searching her very form for it's discrepancies.

"haramu, it is an unusual name." he whispers padding up to stand before her once again, his paws leaping over the gnu with a fluid ghost like movement. Perhaps he was showing off, showing her how silent he could be.

"I Cross the borders where I wish." He whispers sitting slowly the pelt of the beast which was strung upon his back shifting with his movements, as he sat his claws slowly crept from his black, velveteen paws. If one looked closely the black fur was died a rather deep red, though he was clean enough those paws had claimed more than one life and over the years of his existence had been stained red, the fur itself too dark to truly define the colour but it was there if the creature before him was close enough to inspect.

"You cross your borders, why do you hunt outside of your pride haramu? Don't you know there are bad things out here." He let his lips lift and a flash of those fangs peered out once again only to vanish as quickly as they had come.

She nodded. "An unusual name for an unusual coat." She was well aware of how strange her fur was where she was born. If it hadn't been...Haramu wouldn't have been made aware of her true nature.

Haramu was tempted to make a retreat to the border...She knew it was Hakuna's patrol this time of night. But she did not. She examined the male before her, her body ready in case he decided to become....hostile. "I have warned you, I shall not warn you again if you are determined to live without borders."

Her eyes flickered to her prey, scaring off a jackal that had tried coming too close. Then the blue orbs looked back to the other lion. "I know when luck is on my side, and I take advantage of it...this gnu was injured, but otherwise perfectly healthy and has enough meat to feed several mouths. So I pursued him until he could stand the pain no longer." She was glad she'd had this one's blood before she started to drag him...By this point, it would have gone to waste otherwise.

Turning his gaze upon the gnu at his paws then he watched the creature, he seemed almost surprised to see the prey beast lying dead, as if it had just appeared form no where, as if it had suddenly upped and just died at his paws. This looks soon slipped away and was replaced by a fangy grin once again.

"You don't like to hunt" It was a statement rathe than a question and those odd eyes lifted the pupil within that white eye still at last, his lips fading to produce a very serious look. "You are no hunter" He let a little laugh fall out of his lips and he sat his back arched far more than usual making him look hunched under the skin which fell over his spine.

"What is it that you want Haramu? You aren't a hunter." His felt clearly that he uttered facts not fictions, his eyes still and serious, though a glint of something flashed in that onyx marble of an eye.

"I am a hunter, for now. Until I can prove to my pride that I am fit to be more. But for now, I will hep my pride as I can. And right now, that is hunting." She frowned. "What I want?"

Haramu snorted. "What I want is to be training. To find a cub who wishes to learn the things I was taught. A demon who understands the ways of Sparda." She was growing impatient with this strange black lion. If she had felt the upper hand was hers, she would have chased him off already.

As it was, the upper hand was NOT hers, and she didn't feel like dying.

"Who is this sparda?" he sat ever so slowly then his body hunched over that odd pelt making him seem taller than he actually was casting a shadow over the beast she had been dragging.

"Why don't you have your own cubs to train? You are old enough." It was a quick comment his odd eyes both fixed on her as he said it his hea tilted in a questioning manner. "You could be a mother and have your own brood to train in your ways, me, i want a son a son to teach what i know before I die, i can't live forever after all, oh no, though I would like to think I can." He paused in his ramblings his eyes cloudy distant for a long silent moment before he seemed to come back to himself that odd eerie, toothy smile crossing his face.

"You could have a cub to train be a mother pass on your demon spawn. It is simple enough to do." A statement, from a mad beast, but still a statement, words of truth put so bluntly they could cut like a knife. he needed not tact so he had never been taught it only how to speak the truth of the situation before him and his words were truth, at least to his own ears any way.

"Sparda is the God of Nobility." Haramu couldn't help the surge of pride that rushed through her...the sort of pride that came with the knowledge of having served someone well. "He is one of the demon-gods, and is a just one. A great leader." She looked forward to the day when she could finally meet him face-to-face...hopefully with her teacher by her side.

She frowned. "I shall have cubs when I find a mate. And until then, I shall train those not of my blood." Her frown turned into a wry smile. "My own teacher was not my mother, so I see no reason to limit what I have been taught to my own cubs...though any of my cubs that show the inclination for it will learn my ways." Yes...and those that didn't would learn the ways that best fit them. After all...one was more useful to the pride in a capacity they were suited for.

Her smile gave way to a laugh. "Ah...to live forever would certainly be interesting. But I, too, have no illusions of living forever. I do what I can with my mortal life, and leave immortality to the Gods."
PostPosted: Sun Oct 12, 2008 10:49 pm

Tiyatahmey licked his black lips slowly, ever so slowly, god of nobility, he had never heard of such a creature. Though he of course believed in the gods, there were certain gods he knew to be real and others he thought mere fantasy. It seemed though that this pride believed and what was belief if not a god?

"Ah so you are greedy Haramu?" he let a little smirk lift his lips. "Perhaps you should prey to the mother of greed instead of your Sparda, she can deliver anything you wish." he let a little snicker roll over his lips a laugh unlike any he had thus far uttered "of course there is always a price to pay to greed , it's usually rather heavy."

He allowed a moments pause again then, his odd eyes once again still, his lips pursed in an odd manner "Maybe i will come with you to your pride. I can teach you much, perhaps, maybe...Yes..Show me your pride Haramu, I can teach, I can hunt, I can kill, I can help you." His dark eye shimmered like a piece of black crystal then, who knew but him what was running through that demented mind, he had taken an odd, unusual liking to Haramu, he neither wanted to hurt nor teach her which was his usual two states of mind.

Haramu raised a brow. Greed? Hmm...perhaps she was a bit greedy. But that was the nature of all mortals she had ever met. She chuckled. "Perhaps I have greed in me...After all, what is ambition but a sort of greed. However that greed, when pointed in the right direction, can help more than harm. Perhaps I shall give prayers to this Goddess as well." It was an interesting notion...a very interesting one indeed.

So...he wished to see the pride? Well then...she grinned.

"So you wish to step into Aikanaro'hini then? Follow me, Tiyatahmey. I'll take you to one of the leaders." Let the Aran'shale judge this strange shadow-hunter...If nothing else, Haramu was curious what would happen. She picked up her kill once more and started back into the pridal lands.

The dark shadow like lion didn't hesitate he stood and slipped off in to the shadows, his dark form vanishing, occasionally he would slip out and walk beside her for a few steps before whispering back in to the darkness again. this was his way after all he wasn't going to give up his ways for anyone. A smirk lay constantly on his maw as he allowed himself to be lead in to these lands.

What was going through his head was anyone's guess, for now, he was happy to follow, happy to be lead in to this strange demonic lands, the lands apparently of sparda.
