Lanette was basking in her sanctuary. A rock that rose into the starry night, soaking into the glistening moon's aura. Oh how she adored the night. It was the best time for her, she felt alive, rejuvenated, free. She couldn't help but feel uplifted. She threw her heard back and howled into the lit sky, wanting others to join her for this amazing time. Her fur rippled from the breeze which would surely carry her voice far, maybe even to the northern or eastern territory.

The corners of her mouth tilted up as another howl ripped from her throat to enclose into the sky. Standing to her feet, her howl never breaking, Lanette stood to her hind legs like a horse standing from excitement. Lanette's tail arched as her back did, her eyes wide, entranced by the moon.

Smiling up into the sky, Lanette was brought back down to earth by the sound of another helix. Looking down, still smiling, she answered. "Why hello." She left her tail still arched. "Who are you?" She asked as she slowly made her way down from the rock, leaping silently from ledge to ledge.

Sitting in front of Yumi, back straight, tail still up, she smiled more sweetly. "Good evening Yumi, I'm Lanette.." She bowed her head respectively, then straightened back up. Lanette found it difficult, even with the light of the sky and her wonderful eyesight to clearly make out Yumi's form. The rock casted a shadow over them both but it still wouldn't of been to easy with the moon to shine down against her. "hmm. Enjoying yourself?"

Lanette nodded once, smiling wide. "Yes. I adore it.. I do usually hunt at night but I prefer fish." She nodded towards a near by stream which waters sparkled underneath the moon's light. "Its a lot better tasting than red meat.." She said, wrinkling her nose slightly at the thought of eating deer or another type of rodent.
