She was still a little wobbly, but she was getting there. Leilani wiggled her backside a little, lowering his front with a playful growl as she took a large leap forwards, and onto the beetle in front of he. One of her back legs quivered a little, but she didn't quite collapse this time. She was still only a cub, and finding her footing was something she was determined to do by herself. It certainly wasn't in Leilani's nature to stray too far from her family, and she knew the way back to the den. Sure, she was a cautious, adventurous cub, but she was a total daddy's girl at the same time. She looked just like him, only with opposite colours. Some found it amusing.

Carefully peeling one aqua-blue paw away from the ground, a confused expression crossed the leopard cub's face, as she hastily lifted the second paw, dismayed to find no beetle underneath it. But where had it gone? Getting her her feet, she did a quick circle, but the beetle was long gone. With an irritated sigh, she rolled over onto her back, a small mew of delight escaping her maw at the wondrous feeling of the warm sand on her back. The purr lessened into a continuous purr as she remained where she was, sunning herself in the midday sun.

Lulua'line learned fast. She was walking pretty well now, but still sometimes she'd fall down. Not that her walk was too pretty, she still walked kinda goofy if it was an adult looking down upon the little bundle of fur. Lulua loved to stray away from her family. Always trying to get into some type of mischief. It was just her nature to be curious of things. Yet she had a sweet side to her wild, none tamed ways. She could never be mean to anything that was nice. Even things mean to her, she had a hard time being mean.

Bored, as normal, she looked around at all her siblings, though everyone seemed to already be playing with someone else, except Leilani. A mischievous grin popped on Lulua's face. It seemed like a good time to practice her pouncing skills. Of course, they wouldn't be good, but it wasn't like she cared. She just wanted to attack her sister. Playfully of course. Her sister seemed preoccupied anyways. So wouldn't see what hit her.

Lulua stuck her butt in the air, while the front half of her went down to the ground. Her ears flat on her skull, eyes huge, butt wiggling, then.... 3.....2....1.... Lulua jumped at her sister. No claws were out, no teeth bared, just simply a playful pounce.

"Meeep!"

With a terrified mew, Leilani attempted to scramble to her feet as quickly as possible, but was stopped by the weight of her sister on top of her. Her amber eyes glistened with fear as she began to quiver somewhat uncontrollably, even after she realized that it had been a prank by her sister. Taking deep, deep breaths, Leilani calmed herself down enough to shoot a harsh glare towards her sister, but the quiet leopard was unable to keep up the glare for long. It soon softened as she gave her sister a large shove with her front paws, shakily clambering to her feet.

"...That was mean." she spoke, watching her sister carefully, as if afraid she might leap again. Her quivering soon ceased, tail lashing from side to side playfully as without any warning she leapt at Lulua'line with a playful growl, hoping to pay her back. Her leap wasn't anywhere near as fierce or as forceful as Lua's had been, though.

Lulua' could only laugh for a moment or two. Her sister gave a good reaction, and would have to try to pounce on her again later. Then when she was called mean, Lulua' rolled over to actually face her sister. Rather rolled off her sister, that is. She sat up and raised a brow at the other. "Mean?" She gaped.

"If it were mean, I would have used my claws and teeth." She informed her sister. It was hard being the second youngest at times. At least in a huge family such as this. "I didn't, so I wasn't mean." She said picking up a paw and licking it then extending her claws and sticking it towards her sisters face. "But... I could." She told the other with another mischievous look.

Of course, she'd never really go threw with it. She wouldn't be able to hurt her sister, or any of her siblings. Hurting others was bad, emotional or physical. Her mother said so, and had been teaching them all that it wasn't alright to hurt others. She held her paw there for a moment before pulling it back and placing it on the ground. Claws hiding back where they should.

Leilani watched her sister with a neutral expression, not giving anything away as her sister threatened to be 'mean', as was her definition of it. She didn't believe that she would - Lulua'line wasn't the type to hurt anyone unless they were threatening her. But even if she did, she'd get told off by their mother.

"You're lying," was the simple answer that came from Leilani, devoid of all expression. She wrinkled her nose a little, ears twitching as she watched her sister lower her paw again, a hint of a smile forming on the cub's lips. Dashing forwards all of a sudden, Leilani nudging her sister's shoulder, before turning and bounding away a few paces, pausing to turn and watch her sister.

"Tag!"

"Am not! Am not!" She said to her sister's response of calling her a liar. But grinned, cause she knew she was lying. What else was she to do, jump at her sister and lick her to death? Nah, that'd not be fun, for the both of them. As her sister nudged her, Lulua's ears went back playfully.

"Hey! No fair, no fair! I wasn't ready!" But it was too late now, the game had already started, and there wasn't anything she could do. Except get up and chase her. Which, she did get up as soon as she stopped talking. Her tail lashing about playfully, and then she started bouncing towards her sister. It wasn't a run, no, it was a bounce.

Running was no fun, bouncing was. And took about the same amount of energy as running. "I'm going to get you." She said as she bounced, in doing so made her sound rather funny. Which was another reason why bouncing was fun. It made you talk funny, and made other's laugh at you as well. Making them easier to catch.

Leilani grinned at her sister's cries of how unfair the game was, but she was too busy turning and bounding away , racing across the land. Turning her head to watch her sister runnning behind her, a laugh erupted from Leilani as she spotted the bounding actions her sister was doing - she looked so funny!

"You look like a Klipspringer!" teased the cub, before yelping loudly as her front foot slid slightly after striking a rock, knocking off her balance and sending her tumbling forwards, rolling onwards until she finally came to a stop with a moan. Ow.

Lulua laughed as her sister fell. She shopped hopping to speed up to get her sister. Now was her chance to strike, while her sister was down in the ground. She knew her sister was fine, or she'd have started crying already. She ran as fast as she could, then leaped towards her sister.

It was a fun game when someone else, not her, messed up and made it easier for her to catch. Though it's more fun when there were more cubs playing. But, this would do for now. Her tail was flicking wildly in the air as she came towards her sister.

Leilani was too dazed and startled to contemplate moving, so a loud yelp emanated from the cub as she was once again leapt on by her sister, tail lashing around as she furiously tried to push her off. She wasn't a bouncy castle! Couldn't Lulua simple have been satisfied with a simple pat of the paw to signal the tag!

"Lulu, that huuuuuurts!" Leilani moaned, keeping her claws sheathed as she attempted to shove her sister off and begin tending to her sore paws.

Lulua quickly got off her sister as she said it hurt "SORRY!" She gasped. She hated hurting anyone. She felt bad and looked at her sister with apologetic eyes. Forgetting about the game completely. "I didn't mean to, I was only having fun, are you ok, did I make you bleed. Oh god... what if you are bleeding. "She gaped at her sister with huge eyes. She didn't know if she could handle the site of blood, at least on her sister.

Leilani grumbled slightly as her sister got up, slowly clambering to her feet, testing each paw to check that nothing was broken. She then checked her tail, and only when she was sure that she wasn't badly hurt did she turn to Lulua, a frown on her face. A rare sight indeed.

"I'm fine. But be more careful next time!"

She noticed her sister's feaful gape, and softened her expression to a neutral one. She didn't want to scare her sister. But it had hurt. Her belly was sore.

She was almost about in tears, but the moment her sister said she was fine. Lulua' smiled and nodded at her sister. "Well, I didn't mean to." She stated again. The only thing she could be told what to do was to not hurt another. Anything else, she'd disregard what they said, and do something else. Her mother would say she got that from her father. Which was probabally true.

"I'm bored! We should do something" She whined.

Leilani flashed her sister a sweet smile - she knew that she didn't mean to hurt her. Lua wouldn't hurt a fly, much less her siblings. Besides, it had been an accident, and Leilani was a naturally forgiving cub. Tail flicking around in the air behind her, Leilani crouched a little, wiggling her hind around playfully.

"Yeah! Let's play another game!"
PostPosted: Mon Oct 13, 2008 2:27 pm

Lulua giggled. "What game would you like to play." Of course Lulua had other plans, and would convince her sister in playing that instead of what her sister wanted to play. But it always seemed much nicer just to ask first and see just in case it was a good idea. She flicked her tail and watched her sister for a moment.

Leilani flashed a beaming smile to her sister, before it faltered as she cocked her head, eyes glazing over with a thoughtful expression. What game to play, eh? Lulua had asked her first, which Leilani was rather impressed with, so she didn't want to waste the opportunity. So what was there...

"Oh! Oh!" exclaimed the cub, jumping to her feet in excitement as the perfect game flashed across her mind, "Let's play hide and seek!"
