Does anyone have a photo of the (LUTS) Kid Delf Boy HODOO's head from the side?
I'm obsessed with the shape of the dolls' nose, so I'd like to know if it fits my personal criteria before buying.
Also - quality? LUTS has significantly lower prices than the other sites, like Dream of Doll, that I was looking at.
Bitchy mom said she doesn't want me to waste my money on something that's useless.
...I'll get it anyway somehow...

Also, how is their pose-ability?
I plan on using my dollfie as a model for art as well as a sort of shrunken-dressform.

Do to the conversion of the korean won vs the US dollar, LUTS recently lowered prices. They used to be quite a bit higher, till about 2 weeks ago. Dream of Doll didnt lower theirs.
They have pretty good posability due to double jointed knees and elbows
Can't help you with the picture thing though. Have you tried the pic request area on Den of Angels? They often have pics like that people have asked for in the past, plus you can always ask and see if someone adds the pics for you
They have a few pics of the kid delf posability in the Option Parts section on Luts.Gives at least a decent idea 3nodding

Most of the subforums on the Den of Angels forums are viewable only to Den of Angels members. Everyone's generally pretty nice there, and you'd be able to find a lot more information there on anything you'd want.
I really like Luts quality. I've had a few dolls from them in my hands and they're all pretty sturdy things. Nothing to worry about there.

What about the LUTS dolls' poseability?
That's kinda important to me.

Can't help with the photo - but I can vouch for Luts' quality. I own 6 Luts dolls and I've been very happy with all of them.
I'd also say they're pretty standard as far as poseability goes, as long as they're not strung too loosely.

Can they stand? Sit up? Without support? ...That's my biggest concern. I mean I either want DoD or LUTS so I'm having trouble deciding. I'm also having trouble with my potential-future-dolls' shoes! I can't have that precious without-a-name go around barefoot. Would a LUTS Kid Delf fit into MSD shoes properly?

Well strung, they can stand unaided
Just about any MSD shoes will fit them, as that is what size they are. Dolls in the ~44cm range are MSD. DoD's smaller Docs will also fit the same size shoes

Thanks you. :0
I had heard that all brands had differently sized/shaped feet so I was worried.
Dollfienewb here, what exactly is sanding? I mean, like, why would we do that to our precious?! Is it to eliminate the 'seam' on the resin, like the plastic 'seam' on a barbie or other plastic toy? Or just to reshape or remove blemishes? Does LUTS come pre-sanded or... something?
What about UVA-protected? I heard some brands coat their dolls in a protective... spray.

Some places seal the face makeup (face-up) with a UV-protect sealant so that it doesn't smudge.
Sanding is generally to reduce seam lines, but sometimes people do it to reshape other features (very, very fine grit sandpapers or cloths are used). Luts may or may not do a sanding, but it would be an extra option.

Once again, thank you Angel. 3nodding
That's all the questions I have for now, though... except I'm still hoping someone will post a side-view of the Kid Delf's head.

Someone had a pic in her thread post here. I shouldn't think that you'd have any problems viewing it, but if you do I'll come up with something.

ONE MORE QUESTION. Which wig would fit better on this doll? Wig One (8-8.5), Wig Two (6-7) EDIT: Funny thing. My dream dollfie would be Dream of Doll's DoI Luke ver. 2. But for nearly 600 w/ faceup she promptly said that, "I'm not going to let you buy a doll for that much!" ...For that much. Solution? Find another doll for less. I'll never give up on my DoI Luke (four more years until I can have my own credit card!!) But last night I popped the question again, "So I found one for less." She seemed to be contemplating it. So to further speed up her decision I told her that it takes around five or more weeks before they ship it and she made this funny face. Anywho. Perhaps I'll be ordering my Kid Delf within the month?
