Kaki Pan This is Aekea. It lies within Gaia's territory, but was agreed to be a place of no fighting. You come here to get healed, restock supplies, relax, or whatever you want. Nurses gather here, so this is the place to find them. However this is only the streets. It's a good place to RP while not in any certain place, but still in Aekea.

The black robe was hot, but it concealed both his body and face perfectly. His weapons and armor were hidden from sight and was rendered nearly invisible. As far as anyone could tell he was nothing more than a monk or druid. Perhaps it was a bit excessive, but for now he wanted to keep his identity to himself.
The Republic had betrayed him and he refused to serve the Empire. Both had allowed the seeds of corruption to sprout within them. Not to say they were evil, but certain members of both governmental bodies no longer supported the will of the people they represented. It was this that made him view both as things that needed to be cast aside for the greater good.

Walking up to the vendor was a unknown man dressed in white with a cloak that was far whiter then the cleanest snow on Mt. Sortot (A mountain that is famous for its beautiful snow.) "Good day ma'am," he said to the lady politely, "can you direct me to the keep of this village." The women was hesitant because she didn't know the stranger.

He had glanced at the people on the streets many times only to lower his head and continue on his journey, but this time he catches something that gains a bit of attention. Someone in a white robe talking to a street vendor. Perhaps it was whom he was searching for, perhaps not. Either way if he chose to investigate he would have to keep his distance.

Kaki thought it bizarre that there was a man across the way wearing all black on such a hot day. Aekea is in the far south after all. He didn't pay too much attention to him because Kaki was on a bigger mission; to find the Lord of Comment.

Almost as soon as the robed person quit looking in his direction, the black robed individual seems to vanish. Black had its benefits such has being able to duck into shadows. He would tail this man in white from the darkness. If it was who he thought it was then he would have to be careful as to not alert him. Still once he found out were Kaki Pan was what would he do.
Zan the man said to be a demon in a human's body wanders the streets spear in hand looking for someone. If one had spoken to him they would find themselves wondering how he had ever gotten that name, but few people ever worked up the courage to ask him. Rumors had said that he could beat armies with divisions, but he never really spoke about it. It was that and the fact that he was part of the Imperial army's elite corps that led people to look at him in fear. He really didnt have the same viewpoints as the Empire, but they offered employment and he accepted. Now he was the one usually charged with going to Aekea and looking for new officers.
That was what this was all about. Although this wasn't exactly Empire territory it was believed that they should explore it for new recruits. He was suppose to offer fame and riches to help try to get them to join his army. Usually he found no one interesting except a couple of young soldiers that would be put on guard duty. It was a life, but he would be lying if he said that he wouldn't want the chance to prove his worth in a noble duel with a powerful officer.
He supposed he should head back now. If he was lucky then perhaps he could get a sparing match with Draculea. He would lose, but it was nice to know that there was always someone out there that was stronger than you.

As Kaki was headed towards the Mayors house he became paranoid. He could not see nor hear anyone out of the ordinary but he could feel a skilled spirit following him at a constant distance. However, there was something greater at hand! An Imperial officer was trying to recruit in a neutral zone.
"Stop Imperial filth!" said Kaki, "You are violating the North-West Treaty (between Gambino and Durem)!"

Someone was yelling at him and wasn't being too hospitable about their words either. His spear remained on his shoulder, but his grip tightened slightly, as a just in case measure, as he opened his mouth to speak. "I see no violation of any act. I am not engaging into battle and I am not forcing anyone to join our forces. No doubt the Republic has done the same. I must also say that I do not see any reason to degrade ourselves into a battle of insults." His voice was calm and calculative, he was a warrior but he was also intelligent and cunning. In a way he was the exact opposite of a large majority of the Imperial soldiers.
His eyes scan this man repeatedly looking for any indication of who he might be. He wasn't a familiar figure, but Zan could since a strong warrior's spirit in him. He would like to have the chance to cross blades with him, but this was a neutral area and he felt like it was his duty to respect the agreement between countries.
It was most certainly Kaki. 'Stonewall' could recognize that voice from anywhere. He could also recognize that tone from anywhere. Was he still the Republic's lap dog? Surely he had a least realized that neither government was truly what the people wanted or needed.
Issuing a slight sigh he decides that he would continue to follow Kaki. There was a possibility that it was just an act and besides it wasn't as if he was without potential. If all else failed he would make him realize his folly.

"Recruiting is looked down on by both parties though it was not written into the treaty I suppose," said Kaki. "I will not tolerate Imperial nor Republican curs such as yourself to recruit in my territory!"
Many now looked on Kaki as there Hero in Aekea. He rarely left the region and often considered the area to be "his territory" forbidding any republicans or imperials to do any business under his watch. He allowed the Lord of Comment to act as the ruler and was in council with him often. He let few know his true identity. He acted as a lost stranger most of the time.

"More insults..." Zan simply lets out a sigh as he shakes his head looking toward the ground. "I merely follow the orders I am given. It is not my place to question whether or not it is in the treaty. Still instead of simply being asked to leave I am insulted." The spear remains on his shoulder as he turns around and begins to walk off. Although he saw turning his back on someone as rude, he did not appreciate the way he had been treated. For someone who claimed to have a diplomatic position, his attitude was far from befitting it.
"Your territory? Hmph...It belongs to the people not to a single person." He spoke loudly, but mostly because of his frustration. Maybe a simple conversation wouldn't be enough to convince him. Still if he had to beat some sense into him, he could see no one better equipped for the job. He supposed he would just wait and watch. He wasn't affected by the treaty, he didn't serve anyone anymore, but he didn't want to draw attention until he knew that he had no other choice.

Kaki took little insult to the man turning his back to him. As long as the figure left his area. Kaki could have simply gutted him on the spot because he no longer held himself to a signed piece of paper. He no longer took a side, and only cared about the safety of the remaining free people in the world, many of which lived in Aekea.
Kaki was annoyed to see the empire stooping as low as recruiting in the south east. "Be sure not to return, and tell your government to not recruit from the south east again!" said Kaki in an annoyed tone. He suddenly sensed the force of a familiar being again as he had just minutes before. It completely threw him off guard making him venerable.

Well the streets had cleared a bit so maybe it was time to make his presence known. He slips out of the shadows still donned in that black cloak of his before making a slow advance toward Kaki. If Kaki could see the eyes hidden in shadowy cloak he would see someone both happy and annoyed at the same time. He had wanted to keep his existence a secret and perhaps he still could.
"Such rudeness doesn't really befit someone like you..." He had gotten quite good at disguising his voice. The tone was about the same, but overall he sounded deeper perhaps even darker. He had practiced doing this during his disappearance.
One arm rests within the coat holding onto the hilt of his blade. Perhaps he would engage in a little battle with Kaki just to see if he had improved any. With luck he could keep his cloak on and fight at the same time. A couple of flaming moves would burn it off, but all he had to was keep it from hitting him.

"Why do you disguise your spirit's signature from me?" asked Kaki realizing that the power to hide your distinct spirit pattern (or signature) was difficult to possess without great power. "I do not fear you even with your great powers, for I too have this ability. You are familiar to me, friendly yet threatening. Why do you pursue me?"

"You always were one to ask questions..." If it wasn't for the cloak hiding his face his smirk would have probably given him away. "Lets just say that I'm not inclined to say anything about my identity until you have proven yourself." He almost switched back to his normal voice just then, but he was careful he had been waiting for this to happen for a very long time.
He backs off a bit before drawing his sword out from his cloak. Although the blade would be familiar to Kaki, he had the feeling that perhaps he could get by with it. Some people had created replicas and it was possible that the real one had been stolen from his grave. Not everyone had a code of honor.
"Now shall we do this my way or yours? Do say mine, I'll let you start." Although this would be little more than a sparing match to him he wasn't about to hold back.

"His sword?!" asked Kaki to himself. "Who are you to tarnish the image of Lord Stonewall? Replicas of his sword can not be legally made in his honor."
This infuriated Kaki greatly and he no longer hesitated to draw his swords. "Athena, Aries; grace us with your presence." And with that his beautiful and ancient swords took on their flames.
((Rofl, I don't remember how to play! Where did the faction lists go?))
