And I'm sure lots of people would be interested with the guild. Personally merely reading the name of the guild set me all to "Oh my gosh - got to check it out OwO"

I think, though, that simply by keeping the link to the forum or a note about the guild seeking members in the signature should attract members. If the members post frequently outside guilds that is... I personally keep my postings on the main forums to the minimum... =S

You could go and ahead and advertise in the Oh Oh See forum in my roleplay since you are in it. You're bound to get at least a couple looks if you do that I bet. smile

Actually, private means that others can't post. They can still see it all though :p
Hidden is when non-members are unable to see it at all.
And I'm doing pretty good. Tired, bit burnt out, in need of sleep, but good.

I prefer Private guilds. Hidden is silly, and public trusts too much in the general public's ability to be nice.
I actually have a number of little banners if you guys wanna put them in your signatures, but that certainly won't be a requirement.
Aaaand, I'll probably post recruitment threads in a couple of forums tomorrow. I'm thinking Barton OOC and the main guild forum. The former can serve as advertisements for any ongoing RPs that you guys are enjoying and the latter can serve as advertisement in general.
Right now, the only members are people I know personally, except Skyuu who happened to catch my eye. That's right, you be special XD;

Sorry, I got it out of my system now. I'd like to say, in my experience it is often better not to advertise, and to just keep our eyes open in our group roleplays around Gaia and such. Advertising can lead to all sorts of things.
But that is just my opinion.
and Briar I have some questions/ideas that I would like to PM you if you got the time.

Also - what was already said, keeping a look out for members instead of advertising could be a nice thing. That way you're semi-certain what that person can do. Advertisements can bring quite a mixed lot who might have quite random approaches to the guild and activity within it.
Yet - whoever decides to actually fill in the Join Request properly should be pretty certain he/she wants to join. Otherwise one's just wasting time on writing an RP sample, heheh. Namárië

Slender guy, between short and medium hair, ruffled kinda.
