Ah, Saturday. Greloren was strolling down the sidewalk, Quill curled about his neck. There were times when he regretted not having a car. The flea market was all the way across town. Quill suddenly started chirping and took to the air, flying in frantic circles.
"Hey... you're right! I bet she would like to come!" Greloren grinned and his paced picked up as he jogged towards Delucca's apartment. The woman seemed like the type to love going to flea markets. Plus, maybe she had a car...
So, minutes later, Greloren was standing on the doorstep, knocking. He was a bit nervous and wondered if she'd even be home...

The door swung open a few moments later to reveal a rather interesting sight. Delucca Sunday, stood with the vast majority of her kachina clown style tattoo revealed, mostly due to the fact that she was only wearing a small pair of light blue boxer shorts and a matching bra.
"Oh. Hallo." the woman greeted, raising one eyebrow and opening the door wide enough for her visitors to enter through and backing up so they could get in. "Nice to see you again."
Closing the door, she directed the man and his dragon to her couch. Her rainbow dreds flowed loose behind her as she walked through the open doorway to her small bedroom and returned to putting away her clean laundry.
"You caught me just as I was finishing up my laundry, hence the outfit. What's up?"

Can't stop staring... Greloren was rather startled to see Delucca answer the door... in her underwear. He managed to clear his head enough to come in when invited, Quill happily chirping from his new resting area at the top of Greloren's head. "Hmm? Oh, well, I was just headed to the flea market and thought... well, maybe you'd like to come along..."
His eyes were not sure where to look. Finally, they settled for a location above Delucca's head, so that it may appear he was actually looking at her when he wasn't. Not completely anyways. He sat upon the couch. "Er... you wanna put something on..?" Talking with a mostly naked woman was a bit unsettling to him. At least, this early on in the relationship... He hardly knew her!

"Hm? Of course. Soon as I've finished. I want to make sure I have these put before I go grabbing things out of the pile and forget to arrange stuff." the woman explained and quickly completed her task. She disappeared behind the doorframe for a moment or two and soon reappear in a pair of low slung blue jeans that loosened at the knees and a loose dark gray wife-beater.
"How were you planning on getting there? I'd be glad to join you but I don't have a car. I usually ride the bus and hitchhike to get to places out of town but I don't know about you guys." she explained calmly.

Greloren relaxed as Delucca reappeared fully dressed. That was better. "Er, I don't have a car either, so I usually just walk some and ride the bus some." He shrugged. Walking was good exercise. He'd thought about getting a bike, but that cost money... He was a freaking cheapskate.
"There's a bus stop not too far from the flea market. So we could take that, I suppose."

"All right. That works for me. I'll grab my stuff and we can be on our way." and with that, Delucca pulled on a pair of socks, her comfy walking shoes, grabbed her keys+wallet and they were heading out the door.
Not long after, the young woman, her date and his dragon were on the bus to the flea market. Delucca contented herself to petting Quill as they rode and inquiring as to how Greloren had been and whatnot.

Greloren gave a bit of a shrug. "Oh, not much really. Just work... and general living. You been up to much lately?" They'd gotten lucky and wouldn't have to swap buses to get out to the flea market. Which made the ride much simpler than when you had to remember where to get off and switch.

"Oh, nothing in particular. Just work and whatnot." she answered, still lightly patting Quill's head.

The bus finally arrived at their stop and Greloren got off, peering about for a moment to get his bearings. "Ah, yes. It's that way. Not too far. A couple of blocks or so." He glanced over at Quill, who was happily curled up around Delucca's shoulders to get more pettings.

A smile and nod were the only real response the man got before they set off walking. Used to being on her feet a lot, as a waitress and someone without a car, Delucca had no problem with hoofing it the rest of the way there.
The flea market was decently populated on that day, which was actually a good thing. When there were very few people around, shopkeepers tended to close down early or not bother much with the people who were around. When there were too many people around, things one wanted were snatched up rather fast and it was a pain to deal with the hustle and bustle. That day there was a reasonable amount of people, spread out nicely over the large flea market so as to leave the couple room to hunt around.
"So, where shall we head first?" Delucca asked, glancing around at the different shops, stalls and vendors.

Greloren strolled along after Delucca, quickening his step enough to catch up and walk evenly with her. He was debating grabbing her hand when he was caught offguard by a question. "Hmm? Oh, well..." He glanced around. "Probably start over there," he finally commented, pointing to the end, "and work our way back this way." He glanced over at her. "Sound good to you?" They might as well get the longest walk over with before they were tired and burdened with purchases.

"Sounds perfectly fine to me." she answered, agreeing with his unspoken logic. Patting Quill with her left hand she glanced down at the man who accompanied her.
"Do you need me to walk a bit slower?" she asked calmly, knowing just how fast her steps could be given how much she walked and had to walk fast daily.

Greloren gave a bit of a start. Hey, was she making fun of him? He was a half-elf! He could keep up wit- "Please?" It wasn't that he couldn't keep up, no. Or at least so he was telling himself. It was more that he wanted to stroll along with her instead of race.
Quill gave a happy chirp, which Greloren ignored. Sure, the dragon just had to rub in the fact that it didn't have to walk!

"Certainly." she said and carefully slowed her pace, taking somewhat smaller steps as she did and making it much easier for Greloren to catch up.
Despite what he was thinking, the woman hadn't been particularly considering his height as the matter at hand, just her usual walking speeds versus the effort he seemed to be putting out to keep up. It wasn't a severe amount but this was meant to be an enjoyable trip for them both.
"I walk fast a lot when delivering things at work." she explained and glanced about as they continued through the long line of stalls. Nice little place this was.

Greloren chuckled. "I bet it gets busy at times, huh?" He grinned. "Not much walking at my job. More of sitting and talking. Lot of the talking." He chuckled. "About the only fast walking I do is running to the john." Apparently he thought he was funny.
