-Inside the room of the captain of Fire Emblem Forever, Nino. The room is decorated in a haunting manner. Candles are the only light. Standing in front of a mirror by her bedeside, Nino surveys her costume for this year, that of a witch. Behind her stand two of her most trusted companions, Sain, and Rath. They are close friends of hers since they fought side by side so long ago. Nino is distraught because the dress seems too short to her.-
"Rath..." Nino began, turning sideways to try a different view. "I'm not sure! It doesn't look right. What is everybody going to think? My outfit isn't that important, right?" She turned from the mirror to look at her friends. "What do you think? Good? This is going to be great whether or not my dress is too short, right?"

Rath stood there straight, with shoulders held high, as he watched Nino get ready. Unlike Sain, he didn't move around very much, and kept the same deep expression. When he spoke, his voice was monotoned. "...It's longer then what you usually wear... but I believe that you should work until content... if that is your desire..."

"Rath you're so gloomy!" Nino turned toward Rath and stuck her tongue out playfully. "If you think it's ok... I guess it's ok, then!" She walked towards the bed and sat down, crossing her legs. "So. The party doesn't start for a bit. Are you two all ready?"

Sain paces back and forth pulling off stray stitches from his werewolf costume. "I'm just a little worried about this costume. Will the ladies be put off with so much hair? I knew I should have gone with Pimp."

Nino looks over at him. "Sain, I think it's fine." She smiled. "Just be careful not to lose any more of that costume than you already have!" She giggled, pointing at the stray stiches. There was silence for a moment. She looked to the corner and sighed. "There's something wrong. There's something... not quite right about the air tonight. I don't have any idea what it could be."

Sain stuffs the loose string wad into Rath's pocket. "Nino, its Halloween! One of the most religious holidays ever to be known by this flat Earth! Besides, if anything goes wrong we have Rath to sucker into fixing it." Sain pulls another thread from his sleeve.

Nino looked curiously at Sain. After a moment, she spoke again. "Ok. I'm not really sure what you just said, but it sounded encouraging." She smiled again. "You always know what to say, Sain! Thanks! Nothing can go wrong." She smiled and gave the two of them a hug.

Rath took the opportunity to slyly take out the wad of string that Sain had given him, and put it back into Sain's pocket. "I'm surprised you're not going to dress up as Zoro..." Rath looked out the window. "Clouds are moving in... the patrol should get back soon..." Moonlight glistened through, as the clouds began to make camp in the sky.

"Zoro would be a good look for him, wouldn't it." Nino looked at Sain and giggled slightly. She then turned her attention to where Rath was looking. "Right. The patrol. We sent out Micaiah, Leaf, and Ayra tonight, correct? I don't know why I was worried. Everything should be great. They'll come back and say everything couldn't be better!" She picked up her hat for her costume and put it on her head. "They are a little late, though. Maybe they're just walking a little slower than usual."

-FEF Castle- a large, daunting castle to foreigners, with the sturdy stone walls appearing to almost glow in the full-moon's light. A brilliant example of what was then considered contemporary architecture, with battlements that promised a hail of arrows to an invading army to high towers that were not only out range of ballista fire, but promised that any residents' eagle's eye view could never be obstructed during combat, giving them a military advantage from the getgo.
What enemies saw as a fearful fortress of almost impenetrable fortitude, however, allies and residents saw as a wonderful, safe place of rest and relaxation. In fact, the aura around a certain swordsman that night was not that of a defensive, fearful soldier, but rather that of a reveler for the night.-
Ayra's last rounds around the castle's outer perimeter were uneventful, with her and several others keeping her company. Leaf and Micaiah, two friends that she would bet her life on any day, had accompanied her in the castle watch. The full moon lit their path and gave the brunette woman a very amiable air as she lightly tugged at the tip of the clothes she wore that night. They certainly didn't befit one of her station, being a soldier and all.
"Think this is a bad outfit?" she looked down, pulling lightly at her outfit. She'd tried on a traditional gypsy's outfit- down to the veil over the lower half of her face- and shivered lightly at the cold wind that blew at her now exposed abdomen. It was a bit more revealing than she was used to, but she knew her husband would appreciate the sudden change of decor. She, who normally never exposed much skin, now had an outfit that jingled lightly and let quite a bit show.
Tastefully, of course. She still had her sword strapped to her waist, as well, and a decorative but still functional whip that accompanied the Ragnarok stereotype.
"Can't wait for the party to start. Can you imagine? Wonder what they'll dress up as. The boys, I mean." Pondering the thought for a moment, she looked back and smirked at the two, laughing as she let her imagination wander.
"Sain as a Chippendale. Rath as a mafia hitman. It'd be magical, I tell you!"
So drunk on glee was she, that her senses were fuzzed with anticipation and knowledge of the impending night of joy- a night to just chill out, relax, and party with friends. Events like that were long overdue.

Micaiah tread lightly next to her two companions, as to not trip over her own two feet or her outfit for that matter. She was unaccustomed to her new threads, as the design was different from what she normal wore. The outfit consisted of mostly black, with red in some places such as the inside of the coat, a startling contrast to her silver locks, which glowed under the moon's rays.
The Vampire outfit consisted mainly of four parts. The top had a design similar to a coat, with it's high collar. In the front it stopped just at her hips, while in the back it proceeded to fall to a point where it was mere inches from touching and dragging across the ground. The coat had long sleeves which could hid her hands if she let them rest at her side. This was not the case though, as she was holding her light tome to her chest, to hide what the outfit exposed of her bosom. Underneath the coat she wore a simple short, black dress, which failed to help conceal any of her figure. Around her neck the golden eyed girl wore a black choker that held a red jewel in the middle. The ensemble was finished off with black knee high boots.
"Why, no. It is certainly different from what you normally wear, but it fits you quite well," the silver haired maiden remarked as she attempted to pull her tome closer to her chest to shield her from the cool night air.
At the mention of the party; the event on everyone's mind, Micaiah perked up slightly, letting a small smile grace her features that revealed the vampire teeth she wore.
"The boys?" The thought hadn't crossed her mind before, but now that it had she was overcome with and immense curiosity. She couldn't help snicker lightly at Ayra's mention of what Sain and Rath might wear.
"I would be," she chirped in agreement as her mind strayed from the task at hand. It almost slipped by her, but from the corner she noticed a small rustling in the bushes. So startled was she that she bumped into her companion Leaf who was next to her.

Leaf jumped and put his hand on his sword but took it away when he saw that it was Macaiah. "Oh it's you, my lady. Mind telling me whats going on?"

"Ah," Micaiah yelped as she turned herself just enough so that she could face Leaf. The fact that it was night time didn't help to ease her nerves of what might be lurking in every shadow.
"I-I," she shuddered before taking a deep breath so she could continue. "I thought I might have seen something in the bushes over there," she pointed at one of the large hedges that was next to the castle walls. It was eerily still, as if she knew she suspected it.

Maln and a whole army of faceless guys appear from the darkness that engulfed a certain part of he bushes. "Don't struggle. You might die if you do." He muttered a few commands to make the faceless morphs attack and try to put restraints on Micaiah, Leaf, and Ira. "You will come under the orders of Lady Madriana. Do not disappoint her."

"heh wanna fight huh? alright COME ON!" Leaf shouted as he drew his sword, "Just try and take me!" he swung furiously landing blowafter blow on the faceless soldiers but no matter how many he cut down 2 more took their place. "A LITTLE HELP PLEASE?!"
