When Elenath arrived in Gate Town, she was greeted with frantic people and darkness. Lucid and Hans look up at the sky, it was 2 in the afternoon and not a ray of sun in the sky. everyone was frantic and confused.

Elenath's expression changed swiftly from confused to very serious. she looked at Hans "I must get to Arathira" Hans nodded and Elenath ran through the croud. a gust of wind blasted Elli high above them, and a chunk of earth rose to catch her. grasping the floating earth, she sped through the air. arriving at the gates of her white city she called for one of her guards. "are you as puzzled about our situation as i am?" She asked irritatingly. the guard gave her a sad look
"no one is for sure as to what has happened. we have been trying to contact you since dawn."
-"what do the priests know?"
"they think one of the ancients has been disturbed."

Elenath rushes into the temple hall. the priest meets her half way down the ally,
"my lady, i fear that Solaray has disappeared." his eyes were watery, "she wont even speak to us."

in the corner of the tavern a tall man rises from his seat and pays his tab. his expression was completely neutral and he slowly left the tavern. after he was out in the humid nights sky he took flight and headed in the direction of the glowing light.

He arrives at the edge of a forest and proceeds to walk toward the light. He gets about 5 yards into the woods when he reaches the edge of a crowd. Fighting his way to the middle of the crowd he reaches Solaray. he picks her up out of the ash and dusts her off. just as he finishes that he looks around at the crowd, then flies off to Elenath's floating castle.

Elda walked through the streets of Arathira at a brisk pace, grumbling to herself. The conference in Arynia had gone terribly, the woman who was appointed was unfit to rule a realm in both her opinion and Dios'. The Lord Toleranth would have been a much better choice. Her only consolation was the he was one of her most trusted advisors.

When she had returned to Rodasia to deliver the news of the conferance to Dios, she had discovered that her boss and long time friend had, for lack of better way to put it, ditched his job again. The man was always dodging his duties. Burning paperwork, sneaking out of meetings, and generally being a nuisance to his assistant.

She clutched her ever-present clipboard tighter as she thought of how many she would break over his head when she found him. She had assumed he would leave Rodasia altogether from the note he left. So her first destination had been Enthelda, as Dios had made several comments in the recent weeks that he would enjoy a vacation to the logic-defying floating realm.

Elda's angry reminicsing was interupted as a bright light caught her attention coming from above the old palace, on the island that the new palace was located on.

Tsume landed on the front step of the palace and knocked softly, when no one answered, he let himself in and laid Solaray down in a room not too far away from the entrance. after he got her comfortable he went to the kitchen to prepare a basin of hot water with a rag, and some herbal tea to help relieve her stress and fatigue. while the tea brewed he began to consider the serious consequences that may follow his actions... he had just trespassed on Elenath's private grounds, he stole their Ancient, AND he was using their herbs and cooking utensils without permission... he shook his head feeling rather disappointed in himself.

He left the tea to continue brewing and brought the basin and cloth into the room he stuck Solaray in. Picking up the rag and wringing it out he folds it three times and places it on her forehead. he grabs another rag and does the same, but instead he wipes her face and arms. after he finishes with that he goes back into the kitchen and prepares the tea, carrying it back to the room on a wooden cutting board, so as to not dirty Elenath's good China.

He set the tea down on an end table and reached into his worn leather army bag and pulls out a pack of lavender incense. he places them in the little black holder he brought and lit them. enjoying the sent of the lavender now filling the air he removes the second rag from the basin and wrings and folds it to replace the cooling one on her forehead. then he took out the little wooden cups he brought and placed them on the cutting board to pour the tea. once he filled the cups he blew them both and sipped his tea in wait of either Solaray's awakening, or Elenath's return.

Tsume dusted himself off and lightly flapped his wings once to blow the dust away. He then picked up the cloth and walked past Elenath to put the rag in the kitchen sink. then he returned to where Elenath stood and walked into the room which Solaray was resting, and grabbed his bag. then he walked back out of the room and stood at a few feet away from Elenath and bowed, "Sorry for the intrusion..." then he walked out the front door.

He looked down at her with his same stone face, "i was sent here by Lord Chrono to investigate what had happened to Solaray, but since you are here now... i'm sure you can figure it out for yourself." he stood there waiting for her to let go of his arm.
