Cupcake watched as Peridot drew the picture, and was surprised at the little wini's talent. She dabbed some juice on her claw and started painting her own version of Peridot on the rock. It was rather special, and Cupcake decided she wasn't so good at this but was having fun anyway!

Peridot glanced up at her friend as she was started drawing. "Get your paws in there." She smiled, smearing some juice for a mane. She seemed to have a knack for this art thing even for being so young. "Do you like it?"

cupcake mushed the berries some more in an effort to make the picture look more like perdiot, " oh your right i think this does help" she smiled then as she put the finishing touches on the shell, "there!" it didn't look so bad she thought. she looked at peridot's drawing in amazement. the young wini really was rather good! "that looks great hon, you've captured my beauty! your a real artist!" she laughed a little "i'm almost afraid to show you mine* nevertheless she moved her paw so the young wini could see.

Peridot blushed a little at the compliment. "I'm glad you like it! I like how you draw. It looks like I'm having fun, which I am!" It may have been a little lopsided, but Peridot loved it because Cupcake tried her best. Peridot didn't realize she was purring for a few moments then tried writing the words "best friends" under the wini pictures, but it came out more like "beast frindz"

cupcake smiled at the mis-spelling and did her best to supress a giggle, though she supposed that 'beast' was about right, they were demons after all she gave the wini a gentle nuzzle "perfect!...well almost" she wrote the word forever just below peridot's loving words. "there now its perfect! so where should we put it? we have to keep it out of the rain or it will wash away our beautiful drawings"

Peridot thought a moment. "Well... I think my human needs some better art in her house. It's tacky." She said and smiled. "Maybe we can get it in her house and keep it forever and ever!" She thought it was a good idea, but wasn't sure how heavy the stone really was. "Or would it look good with your human's house?"

"hmm" cupcake thought for a moment "i've got an idea! i have a cherry orchard not far from here, we can pick out a tree and put the stone under it and it will be our special friendship tree!" cupcake new that childhood did not last long for a wini but she was willing to bet that her and peridot would stay friends even when the child shed the innosence of youth and so dedicating one of her special cherry trees to their friendship seemed like a fine idea. "do you know why my orchard is so special? it's because the trees never stop blooming and so they will always provide cover for the rock" she paused for a moment considering her further sentiments and deciding that friends can always share she said this "the tree will be like our friendship, never dieing and always protecting us from the rain"

Peridot's whole face lit up. "That's a great idea! And it can sit under the pretty pink petals and I'm sure the rock will be happy there too! Do rocks have feelings?" She mused for a moment then shook her head. "I bet that it's really pretty when there's a gentle breeze in the trees, making the pink dance, right?" She looked at the rock again. "Wait, we can't forget this!" In her shaky sloppy writing, she added the date. "So we know forever the day we became bestest friends."
