+REUNION+: The 3 groups, and their roles
There are 3 different groups who compete against each other in the FFVII story:
Avalanche
Shin-Ra
Descendants of Jenova
Each group has it's own motivation, so when you RP please try to keep in mind not only the ideals of your character, but that of the group you're in. Remember that even if your character is acting on his/her own, he/she is still acting under the influence of his/her group. While there are exceptions to this, it's important to always consider the consequences before you act.
Getting into Character:
Know your character, ask yourself if you know these things about your character before you RP:
What is my character's past?
Does it affect their present state?
Does it affect anyone else?
Does your character show their personality easily, or do they hide their feelings?
Do they have any peculiar or unique habits?
What are their likes/dislikes?
What kind of people do they bond well with?
Are they short/small enough to do tasks others may not be able to?
Are they large/strong enough to remove obstacles others may not be able to?
Are they profficient with magic?
Are they stronger with melee?
Do they fight with a ranged weapon, or a close combat weapon?
Can they even defend themselves if need be?
Do they prefer to fight, or command?
Can they ever learn to love, if they haven't already?
Write down your answers somewhere that you can look at for reference when fighting, even if you include it in your character bio. That way you can truly be a master of RP.
Support your group, and give advice. Get to know your fellow team mates!
Moderators: Their Roles and Responsbilities
Moderators are Team Leaders, their job is not to give commands over their group (unless their character IS actually in a position of high command) But to monitor the status of their group and it's members. They are charged with the responsibility of keeping the harmony and flow of a good RolePlay throughout their team.
Example: you notice someone isn't portraying their character at all like they should. If someone is Cid, and they're acting like Yuffie, that's a problem which makes the Roleplay unreal and unfair to the team members who are doing their job. A moderator watches for situations where someone is abusing their rights, and has the ability of taking away that persons role, and/or if the situation gets out of hand, banning them. If a moderator fails to notice something like this, feel free to send the a PM, and they will investigate it immedeatly.
If your character role gets taken away unfairly, or you are not warned of the fact that you MAY have your character taken, feel Free to PM +Yazou+ at any time.
