Oh, I would definitely want to be a Red Mage, focusing more on magic. I wouldn't want to give up either attack or healing. (I'd probably be more suited to a White Mage, though, 'cause I wouldn't want to hurt any of the monsters. sweatdrop ) I definitely want that special red mage hat, and I firmly believe that Luneth makes the most adorable red mage ever, so I'll steal his outfit. Why did I become a mage? That's easy; melee combat is freakin' scary.

Uh... A time mage? Maybe? I don't think I'd want to be a mage at all, but if I were to choose one, I guess I'd pick time mage.

Dark. Stereotypical, but I lightly dislike bare elements. Almost as much as good/bad separations. Magic is subtle art so to speak. If given choose, I'd do something that is not so brutally direct.

Their offensive spells, Aero and Holy, are quite strong, so I wouldn't have to worry about defending myself. Plus a good whack with a staff can go pretty far.
But, in the long run, what's more important? Staying alive or being about to burn/drown/freeze/electrocute something to death?

Their offensive spells, Aero and Holy, are quite strong, so I wouldn't have to worry about defending myself. Plus a good whack with a staff can go pretty far.

Give me a red mage loaded with as many status spells as possible, I like knowing that even if I go down my allies get to fight an enemy that's been poisoned, silenced, confused, blind, and slowed. That along with friendly status spells like haste, regen, and a wall spell; I'm in heaven.
