Mornings were always strange for Koin. A lot of times, it was really calm as it awoke from the dead night. He was never a night traveler; he'd never get anywhere most likely. The breeze was almost non-existant this morning, so Koin just stood there...
But he took a hesitant step forward. He always relied on the wind to keep him on track. Today though, he'd venture out of the comfort zone and move on without guidance.
Soon enough, the 'blood'-stained dog was trotting foreward. A frown graed his maw. It was so strange not to feel the wind after relying on it for so long. He gave a slightly nervous breath and focused on the path before him. It was a bit thick and grassy. He pondered for a moment staying there; waiting for the wind, but he didn't. Today was the day he would be brave and face his fear of being thrown off track.
Hopefully anyways.

Eusi trotted along, weaving and making random trails in the high grasses. In some thicker areas, her path stayed for longer than a few minutes. She giggled and watched her paths interweaving behind her, picking up speed to a fast jog.
The wild dog wasn't watching where she was going, though, and promptly ran into another figure standing in the grasses. She tumbled over him and rolled onto her side, the wind knocked out of her. Eusi blinked and then realized that when she had bumped into that person, she had knocked them over, too. Quickly she scrambled to her feet and whirled around to face the poor dog.
"I'm so sorry about that. I was being stupid and daydreaming and was not paying attention in the least. Are you alright? Do you need help getting up?" Her bright eyes had lost almost all traces of flirting or teasing; they had concern and worry in them now.

Koin's breath turned slightly labored after he fell. All the air escaped his lungs in the shock of being literally run into. He took a few deep breaths before looking at the dark colored female. And she was... babbling in worry. "No, no, I'm fine." Koin said as he pushed himself up.
He shook his fur to get rid of the dirt and grass that stuck to his white and red fur. "Are you alright?" He asked the female once he made sure he could stand. It wasn't every day a being just a bit smaller than yourself ran at you, you know.

"Are you sure you're okay? I'm soososososooso sorry." Eusi watched, still keeping her worried expression, as he pushed himself up and shook his coat out. The white fur still had a good bit of dirt and grass in it. And as much as Eusi wanted to help clean it again (because a white coat should never not be a pure white coat, lacking dirts of all kind) she knew that would step over the "friendly-first-meeting" boundary line.
"Oh, I'm fine. Thank you; I was not paying attention in the least, to be honest. Just playing a silly little game." She gave a nervous giggle but the smile she gave him was genuine. That is, genuine in relief that he was really alright and that she had met someone else.
"I'm Eusi, by the way."

"I'm fine, I am," Koin bobbed his head in a nodding fashion. It was just a little tumble. He's had worse, of course.
"Ah, Games..." Koin gave a little tilt of his head. "One should always play games, I think..." Especially for pups, but that was a different story. Pups needed games to grow confidence and hinting skills.
"Oh, I'm Koin. Nice to meet you, Eusi."

She kept an eye on him just in case, though glad that he was okay like he said.
"I do like games," she gave a small smile. "It's fun just to relax every once in a while and have a little fun. Though it would be more enjoyable with others. It doesn't always happen like that."
"It's nice to meet you too. What brings you out here?"

Koin gave a small nod. It was wonderful to just relax. That's how he was all the time, anyhow. Today, though, was different. He was tense and slightly nervous. Venturing without the wind... He hadn't done that as long as he could remember.
"Oh... I'm just traveling. I have yet to see everything I could possibly see..." He said with a smile, red eyes twinkling happily. "What about you. Do you live around here?" Koin asked curiously. What was a female doing all alone anyways? Not that is matter that she was female. But it was unusual to see a pretty female alone.
Well... She was pretty, he wouldn't deny that...

Traveling? That was a bold, impressive goal. She'd very much like to travel as well, just to see things other may not have the chance to see.
"That's very interesting," Eusi commented. "Where are you headed now?"
She made a thinking face, considering if 'here' would include her den. "Um, it's kind of close, so...yes?" She laughed. "I'm not really sure what I'm doing right now; I should be doing something productive but I feel too energetic for something useful. I had a good night's sleep last night."

"Anywhere, really. I go where the wind takes me." He said, with a smile. The wind wasn't blowing today, however. "Or where my paws decide to take me." Koin never headed in the same exact direction. He never knew where he was going... All he knew what that it would most likely be a new place.
"Too energetic?" Koin questioned. How could one have too much energy? "What kind of productive?" He couldn't think of too many 'productive' things. Hunting... maybe.

"Mm, the wind," Eusi nodded. "A good thing to follow, but bad when there isn't a breeze to tag along with." Like today. Which made sense if he just followed his paws.
"Yes, sometimes I think I have too much energy, but today I'm just not sure what to focus that energy on. Don't feel like hunting, honestly. But I don't know what else to do." It was a bit of a problem, yes. She hated making decisions and these problems didn't call for anything but.

Koin gave a nodded and hummed agreement to her statement. It was a terriblely bad thing when the wind wasn't blowing to show him the way. It made him nervous went the breeze couldn't guide his paws, such as this day. He relied mostly on the trickle of air pushing him forward, whatever direction that may be.
"We could play a game - like tag or something," Koin pondered aloud, as if tag would solve the female's problem. He hoped he didn't seem like he was coming on to Eusi - he wasn't like that; to come onto a female. Just... getting rid of pent up energy with a child game, he thought to himself.

Eusi giggled at the suggestion. She hadn't played tag, or any other game, in years. A game actually sounded fantastic right now, especially with an older opponent. They could run faster than she ever could when she was younger.
"Tag it is." And she bopped him lightly on his shoulder with a paw before prancing away to a good distance. If he ended up being faster than she, Eusi needed the head start as an advantage in the beginning of the game, even though she would probably end up losing it sooner or later.
"You're it!"

"What?" He blinked slightly confused at the tap. That is, until he heard her call that he was it. "Hey!" He dashed after he, in an attempt to catch up. He didn't know if he was faster, but that was the fun. He simply concentrated on catching the dark female.
With a few long bounds, he tried, unsure if he was gaining bround or not, which was interesting.

She laughed and bounded away from him, dancing and weaving around in hopes of throwing him off her course. She hadn't played tag in forever! It was such a good feeling to just let go and act like a pup again. Eusi would have to remember this and ask other creatures she met if they would play tag, too.
Although how child-like is too much, she wasn't sure, but she'd try.
And then he got her! She squealed and spun around and away from him. "Alright, I'm It!"

Once the two-toned dog caught the darker female, he turned and dashed away. He gave a chuckle - playing tag was always fun, and it was great that he had an opponent that could likely match his speed readily. In his previous games, he raced his pups around the small 'den'. It wasn't much of a game, but it still brought him joy.
He wondered how fast the female could run when doing the chasing.
