Abla yawned as she walked a little faster. She knew where she was going. She went there offten. It was one of her favorite spots to spend by herself
She wanted to spend a little bit of time to herself, then again when did that work. She let her hair fall over her eyes as she walked. She wasn't worryed about the outlines of shapes she could see, she had been there so many times she didn't have to worry about going the wrong way. She sighed slightly and slowed down lifted up her ears, listening to what was around her. She relaxed slightly then hopped up on a rock and slowed down as soon as she jumped up, one thing she wasn't that sure where the rock ended so normally when she jumped up on the rock she didn't walk to far, she would stop like right away then would lay down. She rolled over on her back enjoying the sun on her belly.

A black male walked steady down a path that was known by few. He had seen a few others around but it really didn't bother him. He would like to be able to talk to others after so long of being alone since his old pride had been killed off. His family was strong and proud and his father had been excited when Nehemiah had been born but when he saw how his only son acted, he was dissappointed. Neh was supposed to be tough, not some fun-loving male that always was nice to the females, even if they were not his mate. He had ended up having another son that was to be the leader of the pride rather then the first born son, Nehemiah. He didn't care much about the postion he was in but if he was happy he was fine. His pads hit the ground in even gants as his dark red mane bounced with his steps. His eyes shifted from to, to fro looking at eveything is sight making sure nothing was in his way. He didn't want to make a fool of himself to invisable others. He sighed though his nose as he thought about his past more then normal but this area caused him to do that. He went back to the day he refused Liko as his mate. His father was offended that he would do such a thing to such a 'delicate' female. Pfft....She wasn't delicate at least. She was abusive and ruder then any other thing he had ever meet. It drove him insane. He tried to baby her and make her on a pedestal but she always just wanted more and more and he couldn't give more to her. That made her unhappy so she ended up going with his little brother. That's when Nehemaih lost his temper. That was to be his mate and his brother just walked in and took her from him. That was the only way he could prove himself to his father, that he wasn't a disaster. He and his brother ended up fighting and Mia ended up killing his younger brother but on accident. He had the scar from his back from his father who exiled him to the lands away from the pride. He ended up making his own but that was quickly killed off. He sighed then stopped as he smelled a female nearby. He looked around before spotting her. A small smile spread across his maw as he looked at her and he moved towards her causously. He cleared his throat and looked at her from where he stood. "Does the sun fill good?" His voice was soft like a whisper but it was strong in a way that normal lions that had a good, normal, easily life didn't have.

Abla's tail twitched as she laid out. Her mind was else where. She was thinking about her other daughter Rosebell, she hadn't seen her much, then again she was always wondering about her children, heck she always was thinking about her entire family. Except her father, she never really even thought about her father. A small sigh escaped her nose then she pulled her paws up to rest on her exposed belly. Today was pretty nice, then sun was just right. When she heard a voice, a males voice, no whisper picked up in her sensitive ears. Her ears followed his voice, she rolled over on her side, her hair still falling over her eyes. She wasn't even going to bother with it, she knew she wouldn't be able to look straight at him anyway. "Yes." She murmured her voice pretty soft, she flicked her tail behind her and she sat up so she was still laying down. Her gaze dead and forward. "Why?" She asked simply. She wasn't the most talkative around newer lions, and she was even worse around adults, cubs she could warm up to right away, unlike some others who thought they were annoying, she loved them.

A small smile spread across his maw as he looked at the female, his tail twicthing to the side. He shrugged lightly at her response. "I was wondering since around here it is always alittle hot." Nehemiah shook his head trying to get the flys that had gathered around him away. He hated them. He noticed that she wasn't looking at him directly so he assumed she might have been blind or something of the sort. He glanced around alittle curious if there was anyone else with her. "Do....you have anyone with you or are you alone?...." He looked back at the female as he sat down. Dirt flew up around him as his bottom fell against the ground and his tail curled around his legs. His feathers fluffed some air around him; there was five instead of two, a trait his family had but alot of others didn't have them. He looked over the female with a small smile. She wasn't that bad looking. He would give that to her. The roses were a nice touch to her coat. Brought out some character.

Abla shifted slightly at his words, she sat up so she was sitting down. "I'm used to the heat, it feels nice often." She nodded with her words, she couldn't see others but she did things like that because other people could see, she wasn't the best at the whole 'body laguage thing because she couldn't others so she didn't really know how to act some times. She then chuckled a bit at his second comment shaking her head. "No... Not at the moment, other wise I live with my daughter he children and mate, and some times my brother..." She wouldn't bring up her ex-mate unless he did. When she heard him sit down she felt rude for sitting up on the rock. She stood up and then slipped down on to the ground sitting down in front of him with a foot or two in between them, she had the general feeling where he was, she wasn't that sure of where he was but had and Idea. She sighed then looked foreward, off to the side of him.

Nehemiah nodded at her words. At least she wasn't alone in a way. He shifted on his paws while watching her come down from the rock. He looked closer and it confermed that she was blind. He shrugged it off and cleared his throat lightly. "Well....I'm Nehemiah. Kinda thought I should let you know my name since it would be rude if I didn't tell you." He smiled alittle and laughed at himself softly. He was such a fool and made no sense of himself. His tail flirkered and he looked down as a question popped in his head. Damn his curosity. "Um.....I don't want to seem nosey...but is your mate around here? Or near? Just to be forwarned and all...." He cleared his throat once more trying to slink back, alittle embarressed at his words.

Abla still stared forward as he talked. "That is a interesting name Nehemiah. My name is simple compared to yours, My name is Abla." She couldn't help but to chuckle slightly at the fact that he was slightly rambling. She flicked her tail behind her, her flakes twitching. She was paying attention with her other senses, making sure that no one else was coming. She really wouldn't care she just didn't want to be caught off guard. It was hard enough being blind, but if she didn't pay attention she would go crazy by not paying attention. At his next question she flinched just a bit. "Me and my mate grew apart, we went our own ways." She wondered what he met by 'Just to be forewarned.' She brushed it off, but kept her wits to her.

Nehemiah smiled lightly. "Thank you but I would like something like your name. It's a beautiful name." He shifted on his feet and looked at her. He looked around for a moment as the smell of rain drifted in. He made a small noise and looked up at the sky with a face. "Hopefully there is shelter nearby." He muttered more to himself. He looked at her then regretted his words when she flinched alittle. "Sorry for asking...." He muttered softly and lowered his head. "The only reason I asked is just in case that if he had a problem with me talking to you it wouldn't end in confrontation." He sighed though his nose and looked at the ground.

Abla laughted slightly and shook her head. "Its not the greatest." She shrugged slightly, when she too felt the rain's coming presence she shivered, it was millions of times harder for her to get around, and she knew it. She then shook her head when he said sorry. "Oh no... its fine, Don't worry about being sorry, you didn't offend or hurt me in anyway." She nodded toward pretty much noting. She cleared her throat then shook her head before standing up. "Come... I know where a shelter is, its ont that far off." She knew this area pretty good, she was glad she did with how many times she was in this area it wouldn't be good at all if she didn't know where anything was. She wasn't to sure if he was following but she started to walk, she would be screwed at finding her way there if she didn't get to the shelter before it rained.

Nehemiah smiled of relief when she said it was okay. He was alittle afraid that she might have been offended that he was asking that. He blinked when she stood up then looked up at the sky squinting. The clouds blocked out a bright sun that was blinding. He snorted lightly to himself before looking back at Abla. He made a small face at his own thoughts. Blinding... She was blind. He wandered what it was like to be blind and not being able to see anything. He couldn't stand that. His eyes were sensitive in the light but the dark was so much better. He could see everything. He nodded slightly then sighed when he remembered she couldn't see. He had to get that though his thick head. He stood up and shook off the dirt that had got on him. His dark mane swayed lightly in the growing winds that were just gaining momentum with ever minute. He followed after Abla as carefree as a cub but his mind was clouded, a resemblance to the skies above him at the time, with things of his past that should have been left in the dark. He sighed deeply, his chest rising and falling slowly, as he glanced around trying to find something to keep his mind off of things and his eyes ended up staying on the female before him.

Abla's eyes stayed foreward with a soft sigh, she was almost there. She slowed down slightly then turned to the right just a bit. She could smell the rain coming on quickly, she even felt a few small drops fall on her, it made her slightly paincked. It was so hard for her to get around when it was raining. She let out a sigh of relief as she found the den, she stepped in and as she did she could hear the rain hit then den harder then it was before. She sat back on her haunches then let out a small sigh. "Nehemiah?" She asked wanting to make sure he was still here, but she managed to catch his scent, just slightly, it was drowned out by the rain smell. She then flopped down on her side and closed her eyes. "I'm glad to see you can keep up pretty good." She nodded, to a point it was blind leading the blind, he didn't know where he was going, it made her feel a little bit better, even if he did know where he was going he followed her, she would have got really mad if he pushed ahead of her. "So... Tell me a little about yourself, as you can tell... well I'm blind." She shrugged slightly, opening her eyes for a spilt second, they stared blankly foreward but then she closed them again, relaxing in the warmth of the den.

Nehamiah blinked then snorted as a rain drop hit his nose. Stupid rain. He shook his head alittle frustrated. He looked at Abla when he smelled slight panic around her. He tilted his head to the side alittle curious why the sudden change. He slowed his steps down until the rain picked up. He sighed and walked into the shelter. He was dripping wet when he entered the den and smiled stifftly at Abla. "I am here. Just alittle wet." He laughed alittle before shaking off away from her. He shrugged at her statement. "I try." He grinned lightly, not caring if she saw or not but there was humor in his voice. He sat down and looked at her as the feather that hung at his ear danced in the wind. He flickered his tail and looked at her. "What do you specficly want to know?" He said looking at the ground as a water puddle gathered around him. He shivered lighlty before shaking once more to rid himself of the rain though the smell calmed him greatly.

Abla sighed softly as she relaxed her mind wandered to her children. She wasn't so worried about Red, she had a mate and family, but Rose on the other hand she didn't see as much, and se recived a curse of her own, one of less but she still had it. She flicked her tail behind her not really paying attetion for the moment. Him talking again snapped her attetion back to earth. She blinked a few times then smiled. "Anything you want. No point of two being in the same place and filling it with silence." She shrugged slightly then closing her eyes and relaxing more.

Nehemiah looked at Abla when she said anything you want. She seemed to drift off when he talked so he really didn't know what to talk about that would hold her attention. He thought for a moment then looked at her with a small smile. "Do you have any offspring?" He said innocently. He had never had alot of chances for children since his mate left. He was alittle scared to take a chance with anyone else. He didn't want to break there heart or his get wounded in the process. He really didn't care about himself but he would never want to harm this female in front of him. He sighed softly before looking down alittle worried.
