To say Peri was nervous would be an understatement. Though the last one of these classes he'd had went well, he was still worried. Inviting the dragons to fight? Even with all the techs he had around, it was still risky. But what was he to do? They had to learn stuff like that.
They were outside, though the weather was still warm. And now he just had to wait for his two students to show up...

"You seem awfully pleased with yourself, what are you thinking?" Ter asked in a curious manner, looking down at the dragon that he was lounging on, coils threaded through her spines.
She looked up at him but gave no answer, her long barbed tail swishing behind her as she walked along toward the area they were told to meet the teacher at. She had been excited since she heard the good news, a dragon fight class! She had been looking forward to this for a long time now, to be allowed to fight it out with another dragon. Sure she'd had good number of fights before now but ones with Vorel didn't count since he wasn't a good opponent.
The only fight she had been in that counted in her mind was the one that had been cut to short.
Ter put his hands on Baroness' neck and pushed himself up when he saw the teacher, "Hey there." He greeted him, "Seems you have found another subject that has Baroness in a good mood, I'm impressed."

Chath took a deep breath wondering if this was such a great idea. It was one thing to spar with his dragon...quite another to allow Keir to fight with another dragon. He padded along beside his black dragon since Keir did not allow him to sit on top of him.
It was like he suddenly noticed that his black had gotten bigger...much bigger as well grown in some horns. Then again..he had had the dragon a while now..he supposed it only made sense. It made him worry a bit more as the thought of Keir getting bigger meant he would be harder to control.
The black dragon had his wings folded up on his back...still unable to fly he was too arrogant to admit he needed to learn. His head was up in the air he looked proud an certainly imposing. The skin around his eyes had started to sink in giving him a skull like frame. His own tail flicked back and forth not from excitement but more out of annoyance. He was here to fight, and yet he knew there would be rules...He hated that.
Chath looked up finding himself distracted by looking at Keir a moment to notice Peri and......he felt a lump in his throat as he spotted Baroness and Ter. After their last meeting. . .
"Hey." He said as he approached, moving his shoulders back to pull himself up tall as if to make himself bigger than he appeared.

Peri grinned at Ter, shrugging. "Hey, I have fun classes." He had several students that seemed to love his classes and not just the dragon students. Most of the children were happy to have a class that didn't consist of sitting and taking notes. The man turned and nodded a greeting to the second boy, his eyes lingering for a moment on the boy's stump arm. He winced a bit, inwardly. Poor kid.
"Alright. So I'm sure you guys are eager to get started. We're not going to have them fight each other yet. I want each of you to work with your dragon for a few minutes. Remember back to things you learned in your own melee classes. Like balance and such."
He turned to Ter first. "Baroness doesn't have forearms to fight with, but that tail's rather dangerous. Help her figure out how to use it, but no striking with it today!" He'd gotten some antitoxins just in case of an accident. Ter may've been able to take the venom, but others here wouldn't be able to. "Plus, she's got teeth to bite with. And her wings could help her to keep her balance."
Now he turned to Chath. "Keir has forearms, which gives him a bit of advantage here today. But he doesn't have an actual weapon on his tail. While he can still use his tail to sweep at legs and such, it's his teeth that will be a more dangerous weapon. And claws."
He glanced at both dragons for a moment. "Practice with your kids for a bit first. Then we'll do a sparring session... but you'll have to play nice!" He'd go over those rules before letting them at each other. If nothing else, the techs were standing nearby just in case...

Ter lounged on his draon's back, looking over at the ones that were approaching and he could feel Baroness shifting under him for a moment... then she gave a strange sound that was much like laughter. He shook his head and slid down off of her back, arms crossing over his chest and he used his coils to his advantage so he could make himself as tall as Chath, "Long time no see." He said, giving a fanged smirk.
Baroness turned her complete attention to the black dragon, tail lashing behind her, "Fate seems to be with us doesn't it?" She all but purred at Keir, never would she have guessed he would appear to be her opponent. Truly the Fates were on their side weren't they? She and Keir had promised each other a rematch a while back and here they were. He was barely paying attention to the teacher, something about no striking with her tail, teeth for biting, balance, and something about playing nice... not of registered as being important though.
What was important was the dragon standing in front of her.
Ter leaned against Baroness, looking up at her, "You look far to happy. Should I worry?" He asked, after the teacher's explanation. So they were supposed to discuss battle strategy? He thought about what he'd learned in his own classes, "Well I guess first off you should..." He looked up at her and gave her a nudge, "You gonna listen?"
She reluctantly looked away from Keir to look at Ter, listening to what he was telling her about what Kuyoja had thought him. She was half listening though she really wanted to tell the snake, the newt and the teacher to stuff their rules and attack Keir...

Chath tried not to be irked or mad, he didn't want to be mad at Ter, but he felt an overwhelming urge to punch him in the stomach. Perhaps to get some pay back for what Ter did to him awhile back. Instead he forced a smile as he normally did and pretended nothing was wrong.
"Yeah..hehehe...it has been." It was a bit strained but he could always blame her nervousness on his dragon.
Keir barely looked at Baroness as she spoke to him he only snorted nodding his head slightly his own tail lashing behind him in anticipation.
Fate is one way to call it.. He growled back his attention shifting to Peri his head looking the man over wondering if he should be paying attention to the small human or not. He glanced back at Baroness as Peri went over her advantages...poisonous tail? He could take care of that.
He gave a grin acidic drool already pooling onto the ground below him in a pit pat of burning ground.
Chath looked to his dragon sharply, trying to withhold a sigh as he turned to face him. "Remember Keir this won't be like dueling me. . . and I don't want you getting carried away." he spoke trying to get Keir to pay him any sort of attention.

All of Peri's hopes about the dragons playing fair flew right out of the figurative window when he noticed the glances they were exchanging. Oh joy. The two boys seemed to have problems getting the dragons to even pay attention to them and he wouldn't be surprised if one or the other just attacked.
He gave a bit of a start when he saw the black drool acid. "No acid either, please!" He added, knowing that blacks pretty much always drooled acid, so it was just hopeful pleading on his part. The man glanced to make sure that the techs were still ready to step in at any point. He wouldn't want them to relax with these two dragons around.

Baroness couldn't help but chuckle when the teacher told Keir that he wouldn't be allowed to use his acid drool. Good, that meant no more inconvenient scars due to that stuff she thought to herself before she shifted in place, tail starting to lash. She was bored with listing to everyone talk... couldn't they just fight already!
She thumped her tail against the ground, barring her teeth and gave a growl, "Do you want to bother with this boredom any longer? Or shall we move to the main event?" She snapped at Keir, surely he must be as tired of the talking as she was? They were here for one purpose and one purpose only, a good fight!
Ter looked up at her, over at Keir and then quickly shifted his coils and slithered back to put room between himself and the wyvern. She was taunting Keir, he could tell by her tone of voice and there was no way in Hell he was standing close to her if she was gonna do that...

Chath looked frantically back between both Baroness and Keir and knew this was a bad idea. In fact a TERRIBLE idea. He wasn't sure what to do..should he try and stop them? Something told him this would end up with him possible loosing another arm. . .
"Please Keir.." He whispered but knew the dragon wasn't paying attention and thus backed out of the way quickly.
Keir snapped his jaws together in annoyance, how dare this man tell him what he could or could not do? He would very well use his best method of attack! A splattering of acid flew from his mouth when he snapped his jaws together, he swiveled his long neck to look at Baroness his lips curled back revealing his own sharp acidic drool covered teeth.
Bring it on! He snarled back his wings spreading out to flap in an angry gesture.

"Uh... guys...?" Peri's protest was weak and he knew it. It was near impossible to argue with things that outweighed you by a lot. And then if they had acidic drool or a poisonous tail... well, that just continued to go against your chances in an argument. "Play nice? PLEASE??" He had a feeling they were ignoring him and gestured the techs closer. Luckily, they'd brought tranquilizer guns out. With things this big, that was about the only thing to subdue them when they got out of hand... He signaled for them to wait before firing. He didn't want to tick the dragons off any more than necessary... but if they played nice, he'd hold off. He just hoped they would...

Baroness lifted up onto her backlegs, giving a snarl at Keir, "Fine, I will make the first move then!" She declared and then decided that 'playing nice' was the last thing she wanted to do as she used her wings to flap and strong back legs to lunge forward. Nobody here could stop her or Keir she thought to herself in a boastful and over confident manner, this was their class! It was about fighting and that was what she was going to do!
Ter watched as the wyvern went rushing forward toward Keir and gave a shake of his head, "Heh... glad I moved." He said, crossing his arms behind his head and watched. Not much he could do now other then hope that she didn't get herself to torn up...

Chath looked non too pleased at how this class was going. In fact he was trying very hard not to sigh. He had known better....he had..but still...shaking his head he supposed there was nothing he could do about it ...at least there was a lot of technicians there.
Keir gave a roar of a challange accepting that Baroness had taken the first move he reared back on his own hind legs a moment his own wings beating to keep his balance. He reached with a clawed hand to rake against Baroness's chest hoping for a hit before he went back down on all fours.

The wyvern was more then happy with the way the Black Dragon reacted to her charge, it meant that the real fun of the class had begun. It would seem that she was a lot like her boy, found fights to be something completely fascinating and fun to be a part of! On top of that she fought in a similar way. When Keir's claws raked at her chest she didn't flinch, not minding the blow since the scales of her chest were pretty strong... and she threw all of her substantial weight into Keir, hoping to knock him off balance so she could take advantage...
Ter couldn't help but grin as Baroness threw herself into the fight as he would, all offense at the moment it would seem. Surprisingly for at least the moment she was listening to the teacher as well, not using her tail... he figured they would see how long that lasted...

Keir roared again in defiance, his head swiveled on his long neck to snap onto something anything to grab hold off that was Baroness. He wasn't about to let himself be pushed to the ground and pinned.
His mouth opened wide drool dripped forth unasked, it was just apart of him and he tried to latch his teeth into her upper shoulder. His feet planted on the ground claws trying to dig in against the weight behind pushed agianst it.
it was obvious Keir was taking this more than just a spar...it was lucky he hadn't aimed for the Wyvern's throat.

Baroness' eyes went huge at the attack, a roar escaping her lips as the teeth pierced her scales and flesh... and rage filled her gaze as she felt a familiar and unpleasant burning sensation in her wounds. He was using his acid! That cheating jerk a dragon! Here she was behaving herself, not using her best weapon to pretend that she had actually bothered to listen to the teacher and he didn't do the same!
Her eyes narrowed and she swung her tail around, aiming the sharp tip of it to stick him in the flank. If he was going to break the rules so would she! All bets were off now, all holding back was as well she thought as she twisted her head to throw it to the side to attempt to impale the Black dragon on her spines.
